Well, they have small developments but that's all I can say. The protagonist already have love in mind and it's not her, though it's safe to say he won't win over her. As of now, it works as comedy like harem.

It was Sakuga happy and some parts added were decent, but if you never like the fight, it won't change your mind like Kakashi vs. Obito.

Even though Kakashi vs Obito was short I actually did like it. Big part of the reason I got into Naruto was because of the Martial art scenes, which I'm hoping there is plenty of in the fight and not just two giants blasting power attacks. Thanks for letting me know.

What I meant is that the original version, some actually didn't like it as I was ok with it. The anime did add more but it actually work because it fit the theme and it was convincing since their background was all genuine. Naruto vs. Sasuke part 1 had a decent background and it was convincing at the time. Now, it was just poorly built.

 

While it does add more taijutsu in the beginning, it wasn't convincing enough like part 1 fight because we know who they are as well as how well established. Plus the more focus on them being friends and saving is redundant and just lazy in writing department. It's like in wrestling, what's the point of good brawl if there's no story behind it. The storytelling relies on flash but lack of substance made it hard to care.

i just saw ladygt's blog and wow she's successful in her art ventures 

 

she's now a character figurine designer in tsume-art and she designed zoro from one piece, the baldy from one punch man (can't rem his name forgive me), hinata with twin lion fists, and minato and some other figurenes i didn't recognize. the company give her names of the characters and she design their poses, i think. her work always look fab

So I decided to go on reddit on a whime for Naruto and I might be the one coming late to the party on this, but somebody is doing their own reboot of Naruto titled re: Naruto

Summary for those who wonder what this is.

It's a reboot of the second part of Naruto which some of my goals are:

• Give Sakura, Konoha 11 and a lot of the other side characters more time to shine.
• Expanding the world of Naruto and build on the world that was described in the chunin exams and land of the waves arc.
• Keep the power level relatively small
• Keep the main antagonists to a minimum
• Make a war between nations
• Pick up on a lot of the dropped plot lines in part 1

There are lots and lots of other stuff I want to do, but these are just scratching the surface

• Am I saying Kishimoto is a terrible writer and I can do better?

Not at all. Kishi took the series in a different direction after the timeskip that centered primarily on the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke. I want to try and make a story that feels closer to part 1. It may turn out to just be a terrible fanfic, but I’m at the very least confident that it’ll be entertaining.

• Why are you doing the same arc that’s in the manga?

It's not going to be a copy paste of the original. Nothing is going to be a copy paste with just some minor tweaks. You’ll just have to wait and see, but the arc will be done in 10 chapters compared to the 30 in the manga. Aside from a few key events, the arc will be very different.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm not entirely sure, what that means for pairing side of things, but I'm quite curious what this person has to offer for their version of Naruto. 

 

 

Plus the person make this had this to say about their intention with Sakura in this version: Sakura in re:NARUTO is a badass and literally a main character. Remember what she did in the forest of death against the sound genin? Something similar happens and it makes that look like nothing. :)

 

 

 

Don't take this as a SasuSaku thing....  don't worry it's nothing cringeworthy or flat out disgusting.

As for pairing, I think she intends NS. Maybe I'm wrong, but don't know why I feel that whoever wants to make Sakura shine more is a NS person.
