Hey, Luffyq1. Called it wrong. Sakura didn't phase about Sasuke at all. I guess my joke wasn't much of it as well. When he's gone, her awesomeness is released.

The way Sakura worded it made it sound like she chose Naruto over Sasuke simply because Sasuke degraded himself to a criminal and Naruto became a hero.

 

Sai - "She decided to give up on Sasuke and choose you" makes it sound like a silver medal statement

 

 

 

The way he was flashbacking to Sakura made it seem like he was either questioning why she no longer liked Sasuke or why she is giving up on saving him altogether.

Sai is only saying "by giving up on Sasuke and confessing that she loves you, she untied you from the burden that is your promise".  Which sounds definitely not like he was a silver medal. 

 

But anyway, I already gave my two cents on the confession, to me it is a fake confession because she's not conscious of her feelings for Naruto, or at least, she knows she has feelings but doesn't know that theses feelings are feelings of love. Even at the current time, I think she's not aware that she loves Naruto.

The way Sakura worded it didn't mean that she chose him simply because he's Konoha's Hero this is something I rely think is misunderstood by the whole Naruto fandom , what Sakura was trying to say in here with that line was or pointing out is "How much has Naruto changed from when he was a kid" how much he has matured and is this wonderful person who is always by her side supports her  and makes her feel safe and she has seen it all  this is what she meant by saying that she was simply pointing out his growth  not that she "choose him because he's a Hero now"  this in no way makes Naruto a "Silver Medal" but again ultimately she choose Naruto's safety before Sasuke's  her ultimate goal was his safety that comes first before anything else even Sasuke  this how she choose him  and showed how much she loves to me this shows the opposite Sasuke being the Silver Medal and Naruto is the Gold .

 

If she really loved Sasuke then he and his safety would have been the first thing on her mind but instead she choose to kill him how is this love? The answer is simple it isn't in any way .

I don't care what you do regarding Kaguya and the war, I don't care how the war ends, I don't care how Naruto beats her. I wouldn't care if Naruto beat her by busting out the Macarena mid battle and she jumps in and they giggle like schoolgirls and come to a truce because of their new found dancing interests. Hell, Team 7, the Edo Hokages, Obito, Kaguya, BZ and Hamura could all do the Thriller to conclude the war and I would be fine. But please, PLEASE, have Naruto and Sakura start making out afterwards in front of one of those IT pod things as the IT is getting released, and just so happen to have Hinata come out of the pod that they're making out in front of. It would literally make my day if it happened. To see Hinata's dream go down the drain would have me skipping like a 5 year old. That's all I'm asking.

Wonder if anyone would consider making it into a skit and performing it at an anime con. lol (Though come to think of it, dance-offs in skits are fairly common.)

I don't think Naruto's a silver medal at all. I already believe at this point Sakura loves Naruto and is over Sasuke. However, I don't think that necessarily means Sakura's fully aware of everything when it comes to romance.  540 still indicated to me she thinks she still loves Sasuke, but doesn't dismiss the idea of not loving or liking Naruto. Sakura's moved past Sasuke and onto Naruto, but she needs that moment to realize it IMO.

 

The silver medal argument is always wrong because in Sakura's heart she loves Naruto the most. But even if she never realizes that, then NaruSaku would never happen because Sakura "couldn't have Sasuke." Naruto wouldn't accept being with Sakura unless he was sure she was what he wanted and wasn't forcing it. If 469 & 470 were any indication, Naruto will always reject Sakura for a relationship until he believes she loves him more than Sasuke.

 

So basically, NaruSaku will either happen as Sakura's gold medal or not at all.

Right on target! That's basically what I've been saying for past couple of months. Glad you explained it!

 

Um I don't think so . If you mean that she knows by 631 then its a no because you see Sakura asked who Minato is after Naruto said "You are right on time Dad" witch I assume that she didn't hear that from Naruto because he said that at the same time when there was an huge explosion occurring behind them . Maybe you are thinking about something else care to explain ?     

 

@Pepsi on the contrary the way Sai & Sakura worded by that I mean everything not just that part was Naruto comes first Sasuke is last so how much Sakura loved Sasuke if Naruto's safety comes before anything else ?

I think she heard that and then the explosion happened and apparently she forgot about it. But even then, Gaara told her, "That's what Minato, the fourth Hokage, his dad told me!"

The silver medal thing is concerning Naruto. It means that she only chose Naruto because she could not get together with Sasuke meaning she still has Sasuke in his heart but since she could not be with him....she chose Naruto. This makes Naruto the second choice and that's what we apparently call....a silver medal!

I imagine that even with Sasuke Sakura would have to get sick of his attitude sooner or later. Well, I can dream, anyway.
