Do you think people only see the content and not the execution?
To be fair, almost a lot manga end like that. Most manga have too many character a generic subplots that its almost nearly impossible to cover them all, unlike with books and novels where a novelist does not have no deadline to worry about can split a story (each book) into three different stages with ease ; while manga are only have the luxury of cover arc after arc like a puzzle piece. The big issue manga has the climax can come out of nowhere any within the story and you'll have typical kitten conclusion. This happens when a mangaka gets too weary or interference by the editors and manga house executives. I was not surprise how Kubo ended his manga. I'm not a fan of his. Look at the bright side, he never retcon his manga nor assassinated his characters.
Not saying that he's the best manga out there.

That's great news. I'm happy that her talent is being put to greater use for her benefit. Although, it's pity for me that I would have no problem hiring her for be my personal artist to illustrate manga or graphic novels. I'm not sure if she can illustrate action and fighting scenes.

As much as I don't like studio Pierrot anymore these days, I have to admit that they at least made Naruto's and Sasuke's last fight look good and epic enough. Some of their animators are pretty good with choreography with some of their past animation fights in the anime and they did some justice to this last fight too....

I have to admit I like how the way they animated Hinata in that episode where she got curb-stopped by Pain

It depends on what they had before from moments and facts and hints, if any of them likes the other or both do, etc
What's their character status ? Main or side ? And both are the hero and the heroine ? The latter helps the relationship romantically a lot if they are.
