By the way, some NH fans have manipulated chapter 469's pages, replacing Sakura with Hinata (right like they did with the "meaningless, sisterly" hug in chapter 450). This is too rich. If that confession was so awful, why are they stealing it? If Sakura was being so selfish, why are they replacing her with Hinata? If Naruto rejected Sakura why are they swapping her with Hinata?

Are they really? How hypocritical. This is getting out of hand.

If anyone's been to DeviantART recently, they'd see much of the same thing, plus a healthy dose of Sakura bashing. And it's my favorite kind, too; The kind where they're in the manga, beating Sakura up (like they couldn't even if they were in the manga) with Hinata in the background grinning cockily/cracking her knuckles. Really. That's how desperate they're getting.

They are desperate -and hopeless- indeed, and I always find the last part very funny.

Sakura IS a kunoichi. She has got combat training. She has been trained to faught armed and unarmed. She wasn't the best kunoichi ever when she was twelve, but she still could defeat one adult, untrained man with one single hit (like a pickpocket found to his regret in the Land of the Waves. Amusing how bashers always forget about that detail). Four years later she's way stronger, better fighter and the most promising kunoichi in Konoha.

How do exactly they think they can beat her up? They wouldn't survive five seconds against her!

And Hinata grinning? The same Hinata is -according her fans- sweet and nice and kind? The same Hinata whom Sakura saved? Gee, can you make her more OOC? Hinata would never grin as looking to other person getting beaten.

She doesn't hate or resent Sakura. However her fans imagine her hating and even hitting Sakura (or beating her easily despite she's way weaker. According the DB3, Sakura is stronger -by far-, faster, more resiliant, more intelligent, her genjutsu is easily superior and her ninjutsu is on par with Hinata's. Hinata only is better than Sakura in one aspect: taijutsu, and even then she barely surpasses her. I guess her fighting style is slightly more refined since she's been trained by her family, which are taijutsu-masters. Unfortunately that isn't pretty good when your oponent is stronger, quicker and her endurance and stamina is superior).

She wouldn't -and didn't- get grief-stricken because the guy she likes is in love with other girl. However her fans imagine her getting desperte and suicidal.

I pity her. Her fains claim she's nicer and kinder than in reality she is, but they would love she was more jealousy and more violent than she has never been.

Talk about character rape. Maybe they really did like her for her mild, sweet personality at first. Then it went from ''She should get Naruto because she is sweet'' and became ''Hinata better kill Sakura and get Naruto because I want her to.'' So much has been lost in these pairing wars

On another note, I disagree with KibaHina. That would make Kiba the rebound guy. It just seems like a leftovers pairing you make when you like one pairing, then take whatever's left and scrap it together to make another. To me, KibaHina is very unlikely.

why would he be the rebound guy if there is evendece for them somewhere

Just a joke dude. As for "It makes NS Fans look bad" Yeah that's why I only use it as a personal joke rather than a "debatable topic."

Did everyone lose their sense of humor already? Man these pairing wars really do a number on my comedy act.

Sometimes I feel some are a little too uptight about this. I think us NaruSaku fans would be more open to jokes than the NaruHina fans since we try to be more mature, but I guess I was wrong. Oh well.

Oh I agree that NaruSaku are solid I just wanted her to have a guy too. Cause she's nice I think.

I understand. And I agree It would be nice to see everyone have a happy ending, but unfortunately, it's just not meant to be sometimes. I would have liked Obito, Lee, Jiraiya, Tsunade, Gaara, Kakashi, Shikamaru, Chouji, Ino, so on and so forth, to find someone, but none of their romantic lives has gotten attention, and it would end up being like a bad fanfiction where everyone has to be with someone else.

One thing I have been trying to figure out is when exactly Sakura might have fallen in love with Sasuke. Or at least reached a point where she sincerely believed she did. And also, when she did believe she loved him, did Sakura have a good idea of who Sasuke really was?

Excuse me Froot, but in all honesty there are a lot more important things to worry about. Naruto and Sakura getting together in a manga is probably the least of my worries. I do this for recreation such as yourself. Joking is the best way I can deal with stress whether funny or not by other peers.

Everyday I have to put up with real people telling me how stupid I am. I go to school and get yelled at by instructors, I go to work and get scolded by my boss. I went through 5 surgeries losing my left eye socket, a testicle,and repaired bones. When I was in the hospital, all I ever asked was for my Naruto manga. I lost a girlfriend to a car accident and sometimes contemplate life on a serious, darker tone. Naruto is the one heaven I have left that isn't ruined despite the FCs war between the pairings. NaruSaku fans are not exempted from the fact that some NaruSaku fans are indeed childish and can be just as bad as the childish NaruHina fans they have.

No side is above the other and each one has their faults and problems, but both sides can have their redeeming qualities.

In a way, Naruto is one of the last reasons I have left to live for because I like it so much. Not much a reason, but a reason none the less. I do it because it is fun and helps me forget my problems. Get away from reality. I come here because I would hope to have fun as well. That means joking around. Not bashing, but playing on puns or looking at the abridged videos that people make on the show.

Trolls, however, find recreation in bashing others which I did no such thing. You say you are not calling me a troll, but then you compare me to them which is the same. Otherwise if it weren't then there was no need to even mention trolling in the first place. Get what I am saying? With all due respect, you need to lighten up. If I was really a troll I would have been out there on Youtube or some other crazy forum saying things like "N4rut0 r0xx0rs. N4ruS4ku FTW!!!! N4nruh1n4 for f4g5!!!! lollololol," but I am not and don't even plan on doing so.

The joke itself was not even trolling and not even dissing anyone else. It merely plays off the fact what everyone else has been saying on this forum. NaruSaku is the likely candidate because of the development. NaruHina is not because of how little time they have on screen. It poked a nudge to the letters in each of the pairings and is a joke. It was meant to be a pun. You don't have to laugh to find something amusing.

I also feel like you are under-minding me and thus I could take this as you bashing me, but I won't. You see if you really can't tell the difference between me and a troll, then you don't know me very well. Maybe one day if I hang around for a bit you can understand me a little bit more to know how I behave as a person rather than an internet avatar on a forum.

Again, if you say "I am not comparing you to a troll or calling you troll" then you need to rethink or re-read your post because that is exactly what you are doing. Not saying you are a hypocrite, but maybe you didn't use the right words to get your point across and such ended up saying something you didn't mean. Which is why I am not holding it against you as mistakes can happen. I am also more mature than that and rather look at you as an equal.

No there is nothing wrong with giving your fandom a good name, but that should not apply when you are only talking IN THE CLUB ITSELF. If I was out there, on another discussion board where both sides reign, then it would be inappropriate. Understand what I am saying? If you took offense to that, then I don't know. It was not meant to be offensive. It was merely for a pun. If I did offend you then I am sorry, but I do not understand why you would be offended or think negatively on my post. Please explain that one too me.

I am also sorry for going off topic, but ever since I came to this forum whenever I tried to be myself and feel "right at home" as they say I get told I am bashing or am trolling. I have done no such thing in this forum yet. I merely state through logic on how something is using words in a certain jargon of vocabulary, but EVERYONE seems to take offense to it because I am being stuck up. I am human with human attributes. I understand you all want to be adults, but that does not mean you all can be uptight about it. I think, and this is just my opinion, that some of you posters here need to loosen up a bit. Have fun. I hold you all in high respect, but it feels like I am getting none of that in return with the way I have been treated lately. I keep things real...and I like to just chill and relax. I don't like to be uptight and joking is how I get around that.

Some members here seems to think that me just giving an opinion is me bashing. My whole jargon is nothing, but bashing in their eyes. Again I am still confused by this one. The only statement I have said that hasn;t been called out on as bashing is the "I also like NaruSaku" statement and others like it. Otherwise I get scolded for my posts.

I have been lectured on the "rules of this forum" so many times for nothing. I am not complaining either. In fact I like it here, but the last thing I want is to be told "Well if you don't like it here....leave. We do things our way or no way at all." Is that really what this forum is about? "Our way or no way?" I understand the rules and I know what to do and what not to do, but why is it a crime to have fun or to voice an opinion? If I do something really wrong, then you can lecture me, but if I do something like this and you lecture me....then what kind of forum is this? Again I understand, but we are supposed to be having fun right? Good, clean, fun.

Also, you said I would be giving NaruSaku fans a bad name. If you think about it, us just LIKING the couple of NaruSaku has given us a bad name in the NaruHina fans eyes. A paradox is it not? If you truly are worried by what the NaruHina fans say about our "reputation" then they are no better if they think on something that isn't. The mere practise of this makes them worse than we are. That's like a thief calling the cops on another thief who took his good he stole. (Funny thing, this actually had happened once. Some people are silly.) I don't need to impress the NaruHina fans and I am not going to try to. I'll as I am and do things to my personality. If I change that, then it won't be me. I know where to draw the line so lectures are not necessary.

If you, Froot, cannot understand my jokes that's fine, but it doesn't mean I am bashing or trolling or giving someone a bad name. You, with respect again, are taking it too seriously. Lighten up a little. This is the internet, not college. You don't need to be professional all the time. Like I said, if this is not something to argue over then this conversation should not have started in the first place. You're the one who took it one step further into a territory it didn't even need to go in. Just the facts, that's all I am saying.

Ill answer that with my own personal speculation.

given the evidence of the manga my thought is that Sakura began with what well call a crush of admiration on Sasuke similar to what Hinata has with Naruto. While she didnt have anything in common with him she admired him from afar much as many teenage girls do with rock stars and actors.

she didnt know anything about him but what rumors and gossip would tell. hence why she decided to grow her hair long because she had heard that Sasuke liked girls with long hair.

now this isnt to dismiss her feelings im sure their were adequate levels of attraction there, Sasuke was of course tall dark and handsome and mysterious. and this was of course the source of her attraction as well as the attraction of all the girls.

so from this point we have a crush and most likely something that would stay static or change over time like all crushes do she would eventualy grow out of it and move on. esepcially with sasuke showing no interest

thus we have sakura the day she became a genin with Naruto and Sasuke eating lunch on the bench alone and daydreaming about a heroic sasuke standing above her and telling her how she had a lovely charming forehead that it made him want to kiss it.

Enter one Naruto Uzumaki, to her the most annoying person in the world, always goofing off, and annoying ehr and embarrasing her. the boy shes convinced doesnt understand her in the slightest.

suddenly she looks up and thers ""Sasuke"" standing there and BAM! he tells her exactly what she wants to hear, perfectly replays the fantasy in her head. then he sits and talks with her and in the end he acknowledges her and nearly kisses her before running off as mysteriously as he came.

of course she doesnt know the truth that naruto was in disguise and it was Naruto who was the person who understood her the most.

thats moment on that bench is part of what drives her to return Sasuke i think. while she has long since grown out of the notion of the childish crush she had. I hypothesize that some memory of that bench scene still lingers in her heart.

So she needs to confront sasuke one last time to see if that gentle warm sasuke who acknowledged her and made her so happy is still there.

She tried once jsut before Sasuke left pointing out the very same bench where she sat with and had naruto acknowledge her forehead. but Sasuke who of course wasnt there didnt remember.

I still belive that that bench scene will be replayed one more time before the end, though this time Sasukes going to point out a surpriisng truth to Sakura about who really talked to her that day.

I completely agree with everything you have said.

While at first it seemed like Sakura just had a teenager crush on Sasuke like most girls have in high school (I know they are younger, but the point still stands); a typical hot girl likes the super-star athlete who is smart and intelligent, but stuck up and moody.

I don't blame Sakura for being lustful in the beginning with her feelings towards Sasuke. We have all been down that road at least once where we wanted something based purely on looks and popularity. Some still even do it now when they are older.

Naruto would be that skater punk. Likes to have fun, but also can get serious from time to time. Takes life moment by moment rather than going by the future or the past. Reminds of the song Skater boy by Avril Lavigne. Anyway everyone stays away from him because he is a hoodlum or so they think he is, but he isn't.

Sakura wanted the strong hero type of guy and saw Sasuke as such. A "Knight in Shining armor" complex. Lately, especially in Shippuden, she is seeing Naruto as that knight instead of Sasuke. She is now seeing Sasuke in his true colors. An anti-hero who is only out for himself. I won't say Sasuke is a villain because he hasn't crossed that boarder just yet, but everything he has done was based on his own desires. If someone gets in the way, well they are the stupid ones.

Naruto is indeed that hero, but in truth he cannot save himself...which is where Sakura comes in. Sakura sees that Naruto plans on saving everyone, but she knows that Naruto needs to be saved as well. Naruto needs a hero in Sakura to show him the right path. To be a beacon in the dark. The Promise of a Lifetime is one of those beacons, but now that this is no longer the case...Sakura herself has become such beacon.

They both want to protect each other, but then they both want each other. They have to make the hard choices and it is not easy. They just want to make sure their loved ones don't get caught in the cross-fire.

Catsi basically said it all. I think the pivitol moment for Sakura's attraction to Sasuke was when she thought Sasuke was showing his romantic side to her; It probably made her feel special. But when/if she finds out it wasn't Sasuke, she'll realize that her romantic feelings for Sasuke were for someone who wasn't even Sasuke.
