I never noticed something, but Neji never got a word in chapter 573. Anyone realized that? Huh. I guess he was made to die in the first place. Not talking about that he will remain dead or not, but the fact he's out of picture suggests something. I guess Kishi may keeps his words about highlights. Let's see how he handles them. It could go in order, but now I think about it, it would seem Sakura will show up. It's just that she may come last. Now, I just wonder when.

It's what led some to believe that since Neji died, then Hinata had her big moment, that the rookies would see action in support of Naruto in the same order.

If I'm honest I always hoped that Neji's though could lead to reveal is care for Hinata since the first time I read one of the movie spoiler, the owner of the blog said that Kishi gave him the impression that NejiHina, LeeTen and NaruSaku was his pairing of choice, then we got Rock lee show hinted on that aspect even more, that or Neji telling Hinata that we all know Naruto and she should start considering the way he feels about Sakura because it will hurt him to see her gets hurt.

By the way, it seems that apart from the NS fc everyone else in NF says that NH is canon and that in the pairing percentage NH and SS has 99% of chance while NS only has 1%.

I'm not sure if anyone made this point yet or not, but if ya'll still bent out of shape about the color spread next chapter, it could easily be one of simply Naruto and Hinata standing in front of the Ten-Tails, then to the artsy picture in the chapter, then Naruto flying off to punch the Ten-Tails like a glow in the dark Superman while Hinata like, i don't know, protects the Shinobi Alliance foot-soldiers with that Palm Rotation thingy.



You guys are acting like this chapter would feature a steamy make-out session between the two. We still don't know the contents of the chapter, like what if they show more in-depth reactions of certain characters via thought bubbles? I'm not going to get my hopes up, but that doesn't mean I'm going to wallow in self-pity. I'm just going to be cautiously optimistic because it ain't over until the fat lady sings.



Perhaps the soothing sounds of Sorie Kondi may lighten up the mood for whoever feels like listening.

To be honest, I actually discussed with some people on other forums before he died and I was thinking the fact that he didn't said anything as well as the fact he wasn't showed up with the whole alliance arrival meant something.

Since chapter 611 I stop debating with them, there was only and inevitable talk among the fandom so know that Kishi gave them wing it become harder to discus with them.
Dispite all of these events the NS fandom got a lot new member, when I thought the opposite would happen.

I think that's great, because I'm going to have my fun as soon as we are going to get the next big NS moment. Iam really asking myself what they are going to do then.

If NS happens, I think the furthest I will go would be making a thread in NF saying that it's bad to jump to conclusion before anything is defined.
Then spend the most of my time celebrating about NS while being able to fully enjoy all the NS fanficts without that thought that my pairing might not happen or it never hipping, just don't want to be like those Harry/Hermione fans that while they still make fanfic about them, they still cannot get over the fact that the pairing never happen.

yea in a way i dont wanna be kishi no matter what there is always gonna be 1 large fanbase who hates/disappointed in ya if you make a pairing canon eeek eeek eeek poor kishi good luck too ya xD

You know, I said the same thing about NS FC. It was a total opposite. Too much of an opposite. I actually didn't bother to go there for a day or two. But to my surprise, they're more happy than ever. I wish I can share the post that I see from FC. It's really good.

Dude about harry potter, there's nothing to do, harry got with ginnie mostly because he wanted to be part of his friend's family, they were like their parents to him.
That's all and this is the reason why he got with ginnie.

From the 1st and 2nd movie I new Hermione and Ron would be a couple, since when my nephews were younger they always use to annoy me with the Jose I want to see Harry potter so since then I got that impression.

Just similar characteristics, is all. There's usually the smart person, the goofy person, and the midpoint character (not too strict nor too goofy) if there's a trio of friends.

In their case, there's the smart girl, the goofy guy, and while Sasuke's not a midpoint character like Harry, he was sorta removed from the antics of the other two, like Harry.

I don't know if Kishi reads western fiction, but Naruto kinda reminds me of Harry Potter

I mean, Harry's parents sacrificed themselves for him, leaving him as "the chosen one". Just like Naruto. And the characters are alike too! XD Dumbledore/Hiruzen, Itachi/Snape(given that they're both misunderstood and dark, with weird hair and wrinkles under the eyes). Then you have the immortality stuff that both J.K Rowling and Kishi likes to experiment on. I'm not too into HP, so this is all I know.

DAMN YOU STUDIOS, DON'T YOU KNOW THOSE POPEYE CARTOONS LOSE ALL KINDS OF DETAIL WHEN TURNED TO COLOR?

They're not a particularly big deal. They just happen from time to time. Frankly, they're a waste of time. It's not like they're pulling a Scott Pilgrim and releasing full volumes colorized; it's just a few pages on rare occasion. It's annoying to read a chapter, then four or so pages in it drops back to black and white. I always wonder why they bother at all.

I suppose it does have the effect of canonizing hair colors or whatever. Remember when everyone thought Karins hair was black? Then a color chapter or cover or whatever comes along and her hairs red and everyone's like "oh".

A certain amount of that happens no matter whose pairing makes it to the end of canon. The Harry/Hermione shippers were just particularly difficult to convince, even when JK Rowling told them they were "delusional" they wouldn't listen. Kishimoto will have some of that ahead of him as well, I reckon, no matter what the final pairing or pairings may be.

The thing is, the Potter movies were somewhat misleading, hinting way more at Harry/Hermione than the books. From the very first few chapters of the first book it's clear that it would be Harry/Ginny as well as Ron/Hermione, but if a fan didn't read the books or missed the clues -- or only went by the movies -- I could see why they might get confused. Just like Naruto fans who only watch the anime are mislead at times, too.

To me, Naruto/Sakura is just as clear as Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione were, although it's funny how many Naruto fans seem to be H/Hr if they're into Potter at all. I was really surprised to discover that a lot of NS fans were H/Hr fans. Maybe it's people who think that the lead guy and lead girl automatically belong together...?

Well, he admits to being a big Star Wars fan, and although SW is heavily influenced by ninja/samurai/martial arts, it's still western fiction so I suppose anything is possible -- including Potter because there does seem to be some similarities. More similarities with Star Wars, though, if you ask me.
