I agree. The last thing I want to see is the manga ending that's not originally his. I respect him for staying to his work and not let anyone change his way of story. Imagine if he was forced to change. Perhaps that Hinata's confession will actually change Naruto and he gets a hug from her instead. Thank god, he's writing for his story to come alive.

True this is true but even so Kishi can get irritated when his characters gets hate mail like Sakura for example.

He wasn't literally attacked by NH fans more like he received crazy fan mail from them including bashing Sakura (which he didn't like). I mean I wouldn't be happy if fans bash my heroine which I'm fond off and it's an original characters I created.

Same thing really. I don't get what they were thinking of acomplishing there because attacking the author....not a very wise idea.

Oh yeah. I will get irritated as well. I wouldn't like how they will bash my work because they probably saw it in the wrong way. You can tell Kishi is very fond of his characters, especially the main characters. I mean if he put so much work only to get hated by fans, then why readers should continue if you do nothing but nag about it. He's not going to change anything about the story. What you see is what you get.

Especially people like us who only read the manga for free online were not contributing on anything because we don't buy the manga. Though some buy the volumes but takes too much time to be release instead of the usual weekly shounen jump.

Here's something I just realized, you know how many fans believe Sakura's confession to Naruto was the end of Narusaku because most believe she was lying and Naruto rejected it. Then shouldn't Sakura's confession to Sasuke in Part 1 end Sasusaku. We know she does love Sasuke, but he didn't return the feelings she had for him to her. Unlike Naruto who couldn't accept her confession because he felt she wasn't being totally honest, Sasuke just didn't return the feelings. He appreciated that she actually cared for him, which is why he thanked her, but he didn't love her the way she wanted him to.

So if we can use the logic that because Naruto didn't accept Sakura's confession, that means Narusaku is dead. Than that means we can use that same rule for Sakura's confession to Sasuke as a reason why Sasusaku is dead.

yes i know this case, i know his email too(from shuesha), he only answered two of them, one of them was about the series and one was praising the part 1.
But the far i know he did not get happy with this email from his fan, if i remember he said something about this in one of his interviews at jump fest, i think ciardha said that too.

he has two emails from shueisha one personal and one to receive mails from fans that i think someome that is not kishimoto read it.

the spotlight that hinata receive i think it comes from the editor

All I know is, I've seen other artists and studios fold under the pressure of the audience, be it for financial reasons or popularity. Prestigious ones. Pixar, one of the most celebrated animation studios of all time, folded under that pressure. If Kishimoto stands his ground, then he will forever have my admiration and respect. I do not hate Hinata. For my own personal taste in women, I actually kind of like her. For me, the ideal woman would be a hybrid of Hinata and Sakura's best traits. But that's beside the point. He has a design, and if he has any integrity, he will stick to it.

Kishi has already stood up for himself and his character, I don't think he'll quit now.

He's too proud, I mean it's Masashi Kishimot we're talking about.
I'm sure there is no need to worry, in fact, I think he'll make his point even stronger after hate-mails.

I don't think he is under a lot of pressure from fans about the whole pairing thing, and besides I keep hearing Naruhina is only REALLY popular in the U.S. (I could be wrong with this information, but what I looked up, it seems possible) Yes I know he has gotten hate mails before, but to me I don't think that's enough to pressure him into changing the ending. To me that will just probably annoy him more, other than feel like he's getting pressured into doing something.

Hinata's popularity in America is a culture shock. Just like Sakura's popularity in Japan. Two different worlds.

If it weren't for Sakura's voice actor being terrible then I think she'd be more popular in America. Plus tsundere is popular in Japan while in America I think a lot of people just see it as being a b*tch. Anyways just my opinion.

No, I don't think the voice has anything to do with it. The tsundere thing is not well received here by the male audience. Myself included, though I can see Sakura for her good points.

I severely doubt that it's because she dominates Shikamaru. Her demeanor is strict, but quiet. She does not actively harm him, either by comedy or seriously. She's just snarky toward him, really. And it's something he can handle. Plus, he's not a sucker for punishment. Their relationship is on much more even footing.

i beg to differ. i've never hated tsunderes and i'm a guy. i actually understood and liked it and didn't bash. i hate bashing of any kind. and i live in the US.
