At first, I was thinking Sasuke is acting like that because he's working with Madara to capture her since she would have the bijuu sealed in her -not really though-. It's all a trick to catch Sakura. But it's all a genjutsu, so I don't see the point in Madara doing it that way.


As for no NS in the trailers yet, I feel that if there are a few NS moments, then they'll probably be very relevant to the plot and showing it off would be too much of a spoiler. For example, some people want to see Naruto and Sakura coming together and denying the AU Sasuke and Hinata, do you really think they'd show that in a trailer? Trailers are meant to be teasers, things they want you to know about before you head into the movie.

They want you to know that Sasuke will be all over Sakura and that Hinata will be a yandere apparently. What they want you to guess is what their real reactions to they AU's will be, and what conclusion Naruto and Sakura will come to at the end of it all.

Just my assumption though.

it sounds like Sasuke want to keep Sakura in genjutsu world so she separated from Naruto, come on, it's written in poster that Sasuke and Naruto are rival (of love, haha). For me, yes, Naruto needs Sakura to escape the genjutsu world, because Sakura is a genjutsu type and maybe she could find a way to escape from genjutsu world.

I know that in manga world, ppl look at gaara n naruto (jinchiriki) like a monster. But this world isnt the same. Minato even hoped that naruto will be considered as a hero of the village when he sealed kyuubi, but everything turned opposite. It's just my assumption :|

as long as I know, NejiHina is more popular than NaruHina in Japan. Hinata is popular-- not NaruHina.

I don't know but it seems that people who mostly follow up with this popularity stuff are girls, Hinata is popular yes, but she isn't that popular. I say girls are the ones among the voting because the voting goes by how hot the guy is, not by power level or interesting background. Example Killer Bee, E, Tobi, Nagato, Pain, Jiraiya, Orochimaru etc.

The same seem to happen with the pairing, is not about the most sincere ones, MinaKushi should be 1st fallow by NS and NH, but once again it follows the same mechanism, Two hot guys 1st two hot guys 2nd and perhaps at this time ItaSasu made it to the top, fallow by SS a hot boy and a hot girl.
It seems that the girls in Japan don't believe in bond, friendship, trust, leading to romance, it looks like most teens (11-16) are shallow minded when it comes to a boy over there.

When Kishi made Sakura reflecting as a normal girl it wasn't about a world wide margen reference, it was about the girls in Japan, they seem to ignore everything about a guy as long the guy is hot they don't seem to care about the rest. That's the impression I get overytime I see a character popularity poll.

So, wait, it DOES say love rivals on the poster?

If that's true, then why worrying that there may not be any Narusaku moments. The fact that both Naruto and Sasuke are going to compete to win over Sakura means that we're not just going to see her having semi-romantic with Sasuke, but most likely or not, also have moments with Naruto. And seeing how one guy doesn't even exist, I bet you the moments she has with person who ACTUALLY EXIST* will mean more.

* Technically none of these people exist, there all just figments of one mans imagination, but you all know what I mean.

There was a translation for the bolded words. I think it was just an exclamation of Charasuke being in the movie/ back with Team 7.

omg when i was watching the trailer again i noticed that when naruto is chargin a rasengan he sayd nakama and we see sakura, then he says kaa-san(mother) and appears the kyubbi and then kizuna and appear the masked man, who looks like sasuke

THIS MEANS A LOT!! Nakama means close friend, it proves the narusaku bond, the kyuubii is inside kushina in the au world and that maybe au sasuke is the masked man (not tobi the one with the grey mask)

Why all the post I'm reading are about NaruSaku moment, redragon88 made an interesting comment but no one seems to care, what role will Sakura have, people I want to see her shine, I don't want to see her in any romance in this movie, I want to see her becamo Naruto hero, Naruto for once to be the princess in distress, I want her to be the main reason why they escaped the Genjutsu, lest try not to focus on the romance and more on her friendship with the blond. Naruto Movie three not Shipuden was one of the best Naruto movies for me, why because Sakura was very funny in that movie and she did kick ass.

It's ok to WANT that, but it's also foolish to put your hopes up so high only to be disappointed when that's not what the movie is about.

It may not be about romance, but Sakura is most likely not going to be the actual main character in the movie either. She'll either be just below Naruto on screen time or equal to, if that.

So calm down. It's not that no one cares, but the constant worry and distress over it is annoying and tiresome.

I at Codus throwing out a readers poll that is now around 2 years old, and note he ignores that Hinata had one other part 1 poll where she scored slightly higehr than Sakura- during Hinata's fight in the Chunnin exams. The poll results that Codus throws around is from a poll that happened very shortly after Hinata had her big scene in 437.... It's just a monetary spike whenever Hinata does something in the manga. Even in the two polls that Hinata scored higher, it was just by one place. Sakura is still quite popular. She's still part of two ships that are more popular than naruhina in Japan- sasusaku and Narusaku. Naruhina has never been popular in Japan compared to the west. For Hinata Neihina scores higher than naruhina.

So Codus and you Azure the are ones just saying whatever, not me. You've definitely said things that were the total opposite of what is either on the page or screen...

Sorry Kira but I think that you're the one who needs to calm down, the romance isn't something to worry about, Naruto role either, Sakura role is still a mystery and there is nothing wrong by asking people to try to speak more about her role, we are here to speculate about our favorite Hero and Heroine, but we already seeing what will happen with the hero and nothing about our heroine. Is there something wrong in wanting to talk about Sakura?
She doesn't need to be hax to save the day, she is smart and she has that Genjusu skill you know.

We don't know if they are going to be separated most the the time tho. They need to stick to together.

Exactly. I think she is in pure denial. If you honestly saw things as it is, Hinata is currently more popular. Proof?? the latest character poll places her above Sakura, like it or not. That's a fact. Pure and simple. But does that deter me? NO. I may not like it, but that doesn't I'm giving up on Sakura.

I'm willing to accept it, in fact. But that's it. So what?? just because she's more popular doesn't mean NH is more likely. But it does show that in terms of marketability, that pairing is easier to milk out of.

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I know why now. The reason why they showed the SS/NH scenes is because people are actually more interested in the AU characters rather than NS themselves since they're normal. But my point regarding Sakura stands. It's because she's recently falling deep in the rankings. So that's why they're not playing up her role in the trailers too much.

Poll isn't always accurate, since it may or may not be covering all Naruto readers. There are more readers not participating in the poll I think.

Remember the OVA which was made to promote Uniclo shirts and Aqua Times' new single last year? It shows Naruto-Sasuke bonds and a bit of NS. If rank determines how a story should be told, and if Sakura really fall deep in ranking; showing her in a promotional shirt marketing and listing her as one of the MAIN character in this movie would be a bad move isn't it? Might as well put her as one of the genjutsu.

I lived in Japan once. To my observation, they aren't obsessed with pairings, but to say NS is the least popular or Sakura is the least popular character would be very misleading. This is just my observation while I was there...

Even if its not in the trailer, of course Naruto and Sakura will interact with each other in the movie. They might not be together for all of it (because its starting to seem like they'll have their own little subplots up until the Tobi fight) but you shouldn't worry about them having moments or not talking to one another. Its a given.

*sigh* I'm not worried about anything at all. I haven't complained about anything yet to my knowledge. I'm not one to freak out when I haven't seen everything before me yet. I'm not too interested in panicking over the unknown and I'd rather sit back and let it happen first.

You are worrying a bit too much, about the movie in general. It's a movie, all we have seen are trailers which are teasers. Of course they aren't going to reveal anything yet or make it clear who will be dealing with what. There wouldn't be a point in spilling the entire movie before it comes out.

You were one of the ones that originally came to this thread in a panic when they showed hints of SS in the trailer. You brought word here on how other fandoms were enjoying the fandom and you wished that Kishi would shut them out. Yes, you're overly panicked posts are kinda disruptive and it's keeps going in circles over and over again.

I like the Naruto series in a whole. The only character I strongly dislike as an actual character is Sasuke. I think he is badly written, or rather just too... urg. My favorite characters are Naruto, Minato, Kushina, Sakura, and Jiraiya in no specific order, though I would say Naruto does take the place of #1.

As for everything else, as I said, I let it happen, if something doesn't go the way I would like, then sad day for me. I have to accept it and move on because everything fits together in the end. All the bits and pieces that don't work for me now could work for me later when the puzzle is complete and everything is on the table.

Same thing applies to this movie. So far, I know that Sasuke is apparently a playboy, or at least he suddenly has the hots for Sakura in this AU, opposite of his true self. Small translations have said that Hinata still likes Naruto, yet in the trailer she says she'll kill Naruto. I make the assumption she is a yandere.

Kushina and Minato are alive, Naruto will have a lot of time with his family and he will probably have a hard time letting them go even if he knows it's a genjutsu. Sakura is apparently some kind of hero and her father -who has yet to actually be seen along with her mother- is the 4th Hokage in the place of Minato.

Naruto and Sakura have a scene together where they will be running away from something in comedic panic.

And well, that's all I need to know until the movie is out. I'm not worried about which pairing will be spotlighted, it's a non-canon movie. Based on some other Shippuden movies, they can throw in subtle NS hints no problem. I'm not worried about if Sakura will be a main character or what she will be doing. She's listed as a main character, that's proof enough.

Lastly, I'd like to end this with a mega, please calm down and relax. It's just.... a movie.
