I heard naruto stuff doesn't sell well in japan, almost no one touch them, even after the store drop their price. Like TL and Boruto Movies i still full stock while one piece and one puch man dvd is sold very fast .... lol that's just prove how much hate the japanese fans towards naruto stuff .... such a sad for something that once so popular turn into such a sad reality ....

It was expected. Many of them did express their disapproval of how the manga was going shortly before it ended.

Yeah, no one's getting their hopes up for the next season, even though SP is reportedly still getting a lot of criticism for how they initially handled the series.

Yeah fillers and making Sakura look bad cause they were in love with Hinata, not like they will change with then next anime they will do, as its be shown that they can't and shound't be trusted either with doing an anime when they can't do they job and pick favs,

It's not, it's dying slowly but surely and the rot is beginning to show. After DBZ ended  There were sequel series such as gt and Kai, videogames upon videogames for all different platforms, movies, etc.

 

Naruto has none of that. The latest video game : Ultimate ninja 4 sold for 10 dollars LESS  than every other game before it. 

 

So let it die, what once was something beautiful and full of life has been turned into a cold disgusting husk of pairing kitten and plot retcons, cleaned out by SP and Shonen Flop

They have nothing left up their sleeves or they would have used it by now. 

 

You gotta understand everything for the past two years has been leading up to Boruto manga spin off.

 

Naruto ended with nH to please the western fans. Then ended a month before The Last Naruto Movie premiered so they could focus on advertising it. Then at the end of the movie announce the sequel the Boruto movie. Then they had six spin off novels covering what happened since the ending one released each month. Then a ten chapter gaiden made by kishi. Then the Boruto Movie. Then the announcement of the Boruto manga at jumpfesta. Then finally the Boruto spin off manga. Also the final Ninja storm game and the Naruto anime continuing till the were ready for the spin off anime.

 

The problem is almost everything flopped and made the fans increasingly hate the series. The things that didn't do that. Boruto the move and the Ninja storm 4 game. Did not bring back enough fans to truly revitalize the series, but only keep it a float for the next project in the line.

 

They don't have anymore tricks. Even if they did kishimoto is done with the series and I'm half convince so are his successors.

I know all that, but what if, for example, another movie is made that leads to another spin off. It's unlikely, but I like to take possibilities into consideration

As for Kishimoto I don't think it'll ever be clear what his motivations were or how much control he had over what happened in his series. I'm still glad the series existed. I used to be really excited during part 1 of the series and I discussed a lot of part 2 of the series with people who shared the same interest in the world. I don't think there's a way for Naruto as a series to return to the level of its prime as one of the big 3, but I do think the series will have a lot of cultural and branding influence for a long time.

In bold: That's was my point. The series is dying, but NS fans, NH fans, SS fans, neutral fans, fanatic fans and fans who got hold on to the series, all of us know about the series. At least if we take the third of the fans in total who are still interested, these people can make a difference which if SP or any other company wants the hope in making more out of the series, it's possible that they may have a chance in keeping their work going from them.

That maybe something but the problem is. SP has already lost their meal ticket they see the writing on the wall it's done, Kishimoto is done with Naruto, and Shueisha is basically going if Boruto fails we're dropping the series and finding something else.

 

Now even with all the stupid decisions they have done in the past two years Naruto is still salvageable. The manga could have help get the series back on its feet if they didn't just rehash the movie plot. But in order to for that to happen to try a different spin off. They would have to do something all three parties have completely and utterly refused to do. Admit they made a mistake, admit what the ending was, and apologies to the fans. They all utterly refuse to do that instead they have continued with this spin off they know their fans hate simply because they refused to admit they had made a mistake and apologies.

I don't think they'll admit. They'll just move on if they found something else. From Kishimoto's side, he could admit, but maybe in at least few years from now.

The current Naruto fandom won't accept it, due ending the fandom is homogen.  Ussually fans complain about art or story rarelly they touch romance, since its minefield.

 

SP still had Naruto, which still occasionally broke into the top ten in ratings at the time, when they made the decision to cut Bleach. They don't have that luxury now and are forced to keep Naruto going even though it hasn't seen good ratings for the last three+ years.

 

 

I agree with you, Naruto maybe the only SP cashcow.  It really painfull see how SP mess Naruto for years, lucky I'm not anime watcher.

The story's decline was the biggest complaint most of us had, along with a lot of other fans. The depiction of most of the characters after the ending is another. The weak pairings just topped it off.

First Evil. The reason why nH say that inauguration one shot is funny. Is they have to take it as a comedy or else they would have to accept that kishi by this point utterly despises the ending. Look at the story's plot Naruto is denied becoming hokage because of his dysfunctional family. In other words Naruto failed to achieved his dream because he married hinata. It is the same thing he did by making Hinata focus on Naruto's hand or tripping over that rock. He went through with it because he had to but he did it in a way that spites the pairing. Though clearly neither the editors nor nH fan care.

I'm disappointed in how the series turned out but just about everything after chapter 450 was a downward spiral save for the extremely rare 1 or 2 chapters that were amusing or exciting. That having been said, if I had heard that the series completely brought things back and the Boruto series was amazing then I probably would have checked it out. Unfortunately I've heard nothing of the sort.

It already put in pairing live support for years, and don't blame SS and NH for sunken your ship.  Not us bring heavy things like equality and feminism into fandom.

They can be blamed for both because they are responsible for the abuse of the story and characters. NS fit with the characters and story NH and SS didn't at all. SS's best moment in 699, him poking her forehead had to be taken from a chapter 3 NS moment where naruto pretending to be Sasuke admires Sakura's forehead

 

And the movie written by a NH fan completely about NH retconned the VERY FIRST CHAPTER OF NARUTO SAYING THAT HE COULD USE SHADOW CLONES BEFORE HE STOLE THE SCROLL AND WAS SAVED BY IRUKA. 

 

Your pairing is disgraceful. It cares little for the story or the characters. Never mind that Naruto swore to change the Hyuga when he became Hokage, our pairing is canon. Never mind what naruto's feelings are or that our pairing is even treated with respect, we'll just brainwash him into loving Hinata. Never mind that the Shinobi system is flawed and produced psycopaths such as Madara and Obito a theme which has been around since Zabuza, our pairing is canon.

 

Naruto is now a hollow mess bc the fans it targeted at the end were hollow pairing fans. It's so bad that when Naruto FINALLY becomes Hokage it is treated as a JOKE. That is how much NH and SS care about the characters. THE MAIN CHARACTER'S ULTIMATE DREAM IS TREATED AS A JOKE.

Well man this just goes to show that the NH fans have no taste at all then and they only cared for Hinata and not Naruto I mean I think a lot of us here can agree that they only care for Hinata and what she wants hell they hated that Naruto was a dumb ass and more, since they wanted him to be all hard and never making jokes.

 

 

But the funny thing is if Kishi hates it so much all he has to do is just come out and say it that the Hinata fans destoryed Naruto with their kittening about Hinata so all Kishi would have to do is say something and say everything after pain is no none canon, hell he can let another writer take over and a person who can do art that is. I mean I know I would take that job and I would have Naruto end up with Sakura, Sasuke will die and remian evil as well no damn reincarnation either as that was just added to keep Sasuke alive I mean that is how I see it and its true it was added so that Sasuke could live.

 

If I did get this I would do a film that kills them all off Naruto and all his friends and if Shuiesha, WSJ have a problem I would tell them to kitten off their job is to publish not say how the story goes.
