23 and 36 is a giant leap in age. He is not a sweet guy to her like you're making it sound. Yes he cares a lot about her and helps her pursue her dream while widening her beliefs on true justice. However, he yells at her a lot. It doesn't make him a bad guy. It's cute. He even yelled at her once for not wearing her glasses and confusing him. He yells at her and every other marine. Above or below him. Smoker is just one of those guys who doesn't seem like a relationship type of guy

Exactly.

Its not like he's some grandfather that knew her growing up. There are some relationships where theres a decent size age difference, it's not always a bad thing. I never said he was sweet, nor did I make it out that way. I stated exactly how he is towards her, he doesn't yell at her often, generally it's for comedy as you mentioned, but her rarely actually yells at her unless it's playing the superior card, and even doing that is rare on occasion. He yells at every other marine way more. And not only that, but she checks him (as in checks in power) and he's ok with that.

I'll leave it at this. 2 things. They were in each others' bodies once (hehehe) and showed no sign of care. Smoker just unbuttoned Tashigi's shirt for air, and didn't care for her body. Tashigi sat there and didn't care for his strong frame. If in love they would of been twitching with pleasure.

 

The 2nd thing. If she had any feelings for him then we would of seen it by now, and she wouldn't call him by "Smoker-san" with absolutely no romantic context behind it other than her showing respect to their relationship and his rank. We know Tashigi is a shy girl, so if she liked Smoker, wouldn't she act like it with her cute blushing?

 

Reason I say she can get with Zoro is because we know Smoker and Tashigi will side with Luffy in the end. Let's not be stupid here. Tashigi shares a connection with Nami too now. If cornered I can guarantee you that they couldn't bring them in. ESPECIALLY Tashigi. Don't be surprised to see Jinbe, Tashigi, and Smoker as Straw Hats in the end.

 

BY THE WAY!!!!!!! Sabo is getting a movie. It releases in like 37 days!

Second is a little theory I came up with when it comes to Tashigi.

 

Is it possible that she could be the long lost twin sister of Kuina since they look so alike. I was curious because I rewatched the episode between Zoro and Kuina earlier today?
