Well, for one thing it would at least parallel with Gold Roger's life. Although he was executed, he was already dying at that point and he was still pretty young back then. Around his 40's. But the problem here with Luffy is that he's far younger than Roger and he's already using lifespan-expending techniques. To top it off, he almost died back at Marineford. Oh, and let's not forget that Ivan doped him to extremely dangerous levels at the same time.

Im really excited for the animation of Law's past. It was one of my favorite backstories in the series. Probably gonna cry though. I'm man enough to admit it. I may or may not have cried rivers for three episodes straight when Ace died. And then when Makino cried, because she's a sweetheart, and Luffy's surrogate mother. I hope we get to see her and Shanks' kid soon.

Ehhhh, honestly, I think they'd be much more concerned, because they know that Luffy's techs are punishment on his body. They'd marvel at his strength, but would be uncomfortable with him using it. Especially Nami and Chopper (because he's the doctor and knows the medical implications of his techniques).

I've actually been wondering..... Despite Law's fruit being something able to perform medical miracles, I can't help but wonder if all he did was simply prolong Luffy's already short lifespan two years ago. Remember that the fruit can grant immortality/eternal youth to someone else at the cost of the user's life. Basically, Law didn't heal him at all. He only made a stop-gap measure by prolonging his life. If this is true, then I can see him warning Chopper that Luffy doesn't have much time left.

That kind of thing will never happen.
Luffy will not dying because of that, he will be healed or find a way to solved it.

Meh. My prediction is still that Chopper's dream of finding the cure to heal anything will save Luffy at some point at the end.

Nah, Law actually healed Luffy, he didn't provide any stop gap. That is more along the lines of what Ivankov did. If Law used a simple thing like a delay on Luffy, Luffy's chest probably would have ruptured during his training, as it would only have been a temporary fix. Law treated him just as he treated the children. If anything, it wouldn't make sense for Law only do a stop gap, because he expressed deep interest in having Luffy live after leaving Hancock's island.

I find Robin hard to ship with anyone. She's a gorgeous character all around, but I just want her to be free and single. No Zoro. No Franky. She don't need no man.

Lol I think the only person she would end up with is Zoro, if it were to happen. They respect each other, and have a pretty great friendship as well. I don't see Tashigi with anyone other than Smoker, they understand each other really well, Smoker has tremendous faith in her, and they both take after each other and have a great influence on each other.

Robin is a bae, that's for sure U_U I want to know what she was up to during her time with the Revs, I wonder if she and Dragon talked about Luffy at all. Maybe some family history?

I don't see Tashigi with anyone other than Smoker, they understand each other really well, Smoker has tremendous faith in her, and they both take after each other and have a great influence on each other.

Smoker is like a teacher to her. He is almost twice her age. That is just not okay. It's Sakura and Kakashi all over again, except this one is legal. Smoker even treats her like his subordinate.

 

Not to mention that I'm 50% sure that Tashigi is related to Kuina, and as soon as Zoro finds out.... Well lets just say that he will like her more. Then he'll challenge her to being the strongest swordsman alive. Then baby making later on. Then marriage. Then happily ever after until they die and go to swordsmen heaven.

23 and 36 is a giant leap in age. He is not a sweet guy to her like you're making it sound. Yes he cares a lot about her and helps her pursue her dream while widening her beliefs on true justice. However, he yells at her a lot. It doesn't make him a bad guy. It's cute. He even yelled at her once for not wearing her glasses and confusing him. He yells at her and every other marine. Above or below him. Smoker is just one of those guys who doesn't seem like a relationship type of guy
