Here's what we can surmise from the movie trailer 

- Naruto isn't Hokage

- Naruto looks absolutely horrendous

- No pairings are canon (I still believe we'll see NaruSaku in the movie)

- Despite all of his accomplishments and ambitions to become Hokage, Naruto still takes orders from Shikamaru

 

It's like Kishimoto hates him.

I don't expect Naruto to be Hokage when he's only 19. That's what the epilogue is there for.

Don't get ahead of yourself. This 90% has to do with Hanabi being kidnapped. Look at the timeline and look at their clothes. The'yre in their ninja outfits and have their equipment with them, meaning this is a little while after they departed. If this was in their casual clothes I'd be a little more skeptical. 

 

i know but after seeing that the whole movie is about naruto and hinata wouldn't be weird if they showed this scene when naruto was saying that if its meant for ns then they should show a scene with naruto and sakura in it
well there's still a chance of all this talk being about friendship but since kishi confirmed that this movie about love it's natural for us to think he's talking about hinata

Seriously, stop putting all pairing hopes on a kittening movie people. NS won't be decided by a movie, it'll be in the manga. It's developed in the manga, so it'll be resolved in the manga. We have plenty going for us in the manga, this movie won't mean anything in terms of actual resolution for them.

The movie is 110 min. Just picture how much of the actual movie we haven't seen! Unless the movie is about Hinata every freakin second, I am pretty sure there will be some interaction b/w Naruto and Hinata.

Even though I think NS is dead, I still hope for the love of god that something NS will happen in the manga. They need to stfu for real.

Okay let's look at all the nh "hints" :
-Kishi says the movie will be about romance
-The cd cover has Naruto and Hinata
-Hinata has the word love
-The plot's summary talks about Hinata's feelings (Hinata's feelings being emphasized) and how she wants to reach him with a scarf
-Naruto is wearing that scarf
-the line "wait for me" which is on the ticket of the movie is confirmed to be towards Hinata.
-the tweet about the scarf and Hinata has been confirmed
-Kakashi’s va said that there was a hint in the poster of the movie, most likely refers to the tweet.

I may have forgotten some things but that’s a lot of official material, I just don't see how it can be a troll. Maybe I'm wrong but there's too much effort to believe it.

But yeah, I honestly didn't expect to see him becoming Hokage so soon after the war. He will eventually become one ;)

While it's probably too early to say which pairing is canon, it doesn't seem likely that the movie has propped up Hinata's importance in the story just to let her get rejected by Naruto. Although I'm not a big fan of retcons, it happens all the time in fiction.

It seems to be a real twist in the knife to have Sakura as some sort if supporting role in all of this. Why Kishimoto would do this - does he think Sakura doesn't "deserve" Naruto? It looks like the only role she has is to cheer for Hinata at this point.

I wonder how long it will be before we get new information. But I'm not sure if I'm exactly looking forward to it.

Wait for the final chapter is all I'm saying on the matter. If we don't see POAL resolved, i.e. NaruSaku closure, whether that means they are together in the end or not, then odds are Kishimoto did change his mind. I'm still 100% we'll get NaruSaku in the manga though.

I don't believe that it'll be resolved in the movie. Seems like people are ignoring all the NS we've gotten in the manga. Like I said, it's been developed in the manga, so it'll be resolved in the damn manga. I guess I shouldn't fret, we'll find out next week for sure. 

Kishimoto may have decided to move the romance plot to movie. ( That is what I'm afraid of. Well, I'm hoping for a manga epilogue too...
