Ah yes, I remember those covers. Funny, I remember those movie covers. I remember saying, "You know, i noticed something. For movie 3, Kishi placed only Naruto, Sakura, main guy for the movie, and the villain. Where's Kakashi and Lee?" I find it funny how it was only those two with two movie characters. Also, anyone catch the Shippuden movie 5 cover? They put all movie characters and Sakura. Hm, not saying it matters a lot, but Kishi sure favor both of them a lot than I thought.

remember during the pain arc when Sakura was healing Hinata and she said something like "You really love Naruto". I couldn't help but notice how sad she looked while saying that. Why do you think that is?
Also a bit unrelated but do you guys reccomend one piece? I read chapter one and it was like 30 pages. Then I looked at how many chapters there were and my jaw dropped. It's going to take like 4 months to finish all of that.... is it worth it though? I do love good stories.

Yeah, maybe because she realized that she cared about Naruto just like the village and herself. Or she realized her care factor is as high as hers, hence the hug scene because she was so worried about Naruto. Whatever it is, it moved her to understand how much Naruto means to everyone, including herself. Sakura knows she can trust him, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't worry. Naruto's life was on the life. It's common yet seen romantic for girl to hit the hero then hug. But, I'm losing my track, so yeah, there you have it.
As for One Piece, I highly recommend it. It's great in many ways. Art is odd but unique and it has its own charms. Yes, there is a lot of chapters to read but it's well worth reading. That and Naruto are my favorites.

I agree. I always return to specific moments because how well it was made. I always feel the impact that the show made.

There is definitely room for interpretation in a lot of Kishi's stuff, and we could be totally wrong. But on the other hand, there are definitely some things that simply are canon fact. When people start denying that Naruto's romantic feelings for Sakura were ever serious, for example, then you can say with confidence that that is wrong. Its no longer a matter of interpretation when you have numerous manga panels flat out telling you differently.
A lot of people, when they get emotionally invested in something one way or another, won't be swayed by logical arguments. This has been shown by psychological studies. People get invested into characters and pairings and then can actively distort what the manga presents on its face to match their own view. This is done all the time in life with things that we simply refuse to accept as true. For example, Person A believes women make poor leaders because they are more emotional then men. Person B presents evidence of competent female leaders in the past. Person A will come back with "well those are the exceptions, the rest are poor leaders/they were only good because they had good male advisors helping them/etc. Some people will also focus on the stuff that supports their view, and completely ignore the stuff that works against their view. The human mind works in weird ways, believe you me.
That being said, if a person doesn't like NaruSaku, they are far less likely to look at the pairing objectively and say, "yeah, that pairing does have a lot of hints/ will become canon in the end". And there are plenty of reaons people don't like NaruSaku. They've become invested in Hinata's character and wants, they don't like Sakura, they don't like the tropes of the NaruSaku relationship (tsundere type comedic romance, main guy and main girl, etc.), they only see them as brother and sister, etc.
Just because people in the western fandom don't like NaruSaku (and it really is just the western fandom hating on it to the best of my understanding) doesn't make it any less likely to be canon. What matters is how Kishimoto feels about NaruSaku, and given the grossly disproportional focus and development he's given to that relationship over its contenders throughout the whole manga, I don't think that its illogical to venture that he looks favorably on it.
The best way to make sure that you are not misinterpreting the manga is simply to keep your mind open to things that may disprove your view. Consider it critically, see how well it fits with the big picture of the manga we've seen before, and then go from there. We have a lot of things going for us that the other pairings don't have, the biggest being the huge amount of development and focus the relationship has received in both part one and two of the manga, and the fact that there have been demonstrations of non-platonic feelings from both people in the relationship (because it is a manga fact that Sakura has shown physical attraction to Naruto at the very least - there is just no other way to take blushing, smiling, asking him if she looks more womanly, and then thinking that he's matured in appearance).
I agree that its an interesting topic, I just think that its also a sensitive one that could get out of hand (especially given some of the response its already gotten you). I'm glad that you appreciated my comment - yours likewise always tend to have good points.
Oh, I totally agree on that. As I stated earlier, the way people interpret things are based on their own preferences, and life experiences.
I Like this post I will love to post it in the debate forum, to replay forlong.

I remember that topic was discussed before, but I personally didn't give my opinion. Notice that Sakura was the only one that figured out that Hinata got hurt because she loved Naruto. Everyone else was asking why she did, yet Sakura knew. How did she knew that what Hinata did was out of love? Does she understand how it feels to love Naruto, is that why she has sad expression when she figures Hinata's feelings?

That's pretty much it. I wonder that helped her to decide to show her feelings through that hug. Then again, she always care for him since then. After all, she was like a princess that cried for a prince.

probobly because everyone here keeps coming to a consensus. well then.... umm... let me think uh....
Oh I know! What is Sakura's dream?
Naruto's is becoming hokage.
Sasuke's is to slaughter every man woman and child from the leaf village in cold blood to restore the Uchiha name <3.

Obviously seeing Naruto become Hokage, in fact she was the first of his classmates to want to see his dreams come true. During the beginning of the Chunin arc, when they were all taking the writing test, she was willing to quit the exam so that Naruto wouldn't fail it and have his dreams of becoming Hokage get crushed. I don't know what chapter it is, but she is blushing when she was about to raise her hand.

I don't get what you are talking about. All of it happened, and it has nothing to do with Haku.
By the way, you are misinformed about Sakura telling Hinata loved Naruto. She did not say that. She said Hinata did it for Naruto.
Not that it matters one way or another.

Haku's goal in life was to assist Zabuza. According to that comment Sakura's goal in life was to assist Naruto.
Hence why I posted that comment.
Also about your signature, it's just a chainmessage.

As for Sakura's dream, she said it best at the end of the Team 7 reunion arc, she wishes for a happy ending for Team 7.
So her dream is for Naruto to achieve his goals and for Sasuke to somehow see reason by the end.

Oh.... that's umm.... disappointing really. That's not a very satisfying dream :\
I would have hoped that Sakura wanted to be the strongest shinobi in the world, or the best medical ninja in the world, something like that...
Naruto however has pretty much achieved his dream. He is the strongest shinobi in the hidden leaf village by far so it's inevitable that he will become hokage.
Sasuke can basically kiss his dream goodbye because Konoha has plot protection.
It seems lazy to have Sakura's dream be an extension of Naruto's dream.

No. According that comment she does not want seeing his dreams crushed. It is not the same thing.
And Haku's life revolved around Zabuza. That comment did not imply Sakura's life revolved around Naruto. Only she wanted to protect her dreams. It did not say that was her only dream.
First: Maybe it is. So what? Why should I care?
Second: It has nothing to do with the subject.
Third: I do not see how it is nobody's business whatever I put in my signature. Unless it goes against the site rules. Then a moderator would have talked me about it. But it does not and you are not.
Fourth: Seeing first, second and third point.
I did not ask your opinion on the matter, it has nothing to do with the thread and I do not see how or why you bring it up, so please, refrain to make uncalled for remarks on it. Did I make out-of-nowhere remarks about your avatar? No, I did not. It would be rude.
Matter closed.

LoL, well at least your direct about it, but chainmessages ruin the internet no matter what they are. so in that sense yes, it does concern me as I am a part of the internet. however since aparently you feel so passionate about it ill just ignore this subject.
anyways, the main problem I had was Sakura not having a dream of her own.

If you check my joining date you'll see I joined this site nearly five years ago. No one person had done as much as even mentioning my signature until today.
No one has cared or felt concerned. So I still don't see how it ruins your internet experience or how it concerns you. Not matter what I put it in spoilers (so nobody has to see it if that person does not want), and I post every so often.
There was never a subject to ignore. But well. I am glad we have come to an agreement.
Now, let's steer the thread back in track.
Canon manga suffice?
Naruto. Chapter 43. Pag. 14
