That's the main reason why I stop relying on the interview and only use the Manga and sometimes DB.

I find this hard to believe considering the often panic stricken tone you use in your posts

unless you are in the room when Kishimoto is giving an interview I wouldn't trust it as it is filtered through much bias as to be rendered unintelligible. If you have read the manga then you shouldn't be worried cuz it is all in there in Black and White

there is so much NS stuff in there we shouldn't really be having a discussion about anything else really

use your mind and come to your own conclusions don't rely on others to make up your mind for you

The difference between what you listed and Kishi's statement about Sakura is the event ALREADY HAPPENED.

Kishi is probably a busy man and he has to work things out with his plot and sometimes things may not go his way. So what if his predictions or plans that a Sakura focused plot or a Kakashi year didn't happen. That was a prediction, yet to happen, in the future, not a fact.

Sakura's confession was already written and out there when he did the interview about it yes? He stated she was telling the truth during her confession, and so she is.

Didn't Kishi say that Naruto is close but Sakura still love?

Didn't Kishi says that Sakura fills Sasuke's lonely existence but he cannot let her in? Implying that his feeling for her are more than platinic, but because of his revenche he cannot let her in. Did Sasuke display any of those feelings or he try to kill her not onces, not twice, but three times.

Didn't Kishi say that Sasuke the future will be decided after his fight with Danzo? But we are speaking about his redemption right now. Do you honestly believe he will kill one off the Rookies or one of the Kages? To be honest with you at this time I strongly believe even when I'm totally against it, that Sasuke will kill Kabuto, Prime Madara and help Naruto with Tobi making him the top dog. Hope I'm wrong, I really hopy but Kishi wanking the Uchihas gives low hope.

Didn't Kishi say that in 2010 he will focus more on Sakura character? But now Kishi said that Sakura slip his mind.

Living Lavish I remember reading that Facebook interview as well, and as far my understanding goes only Sasukes two VA's likes SS.

Sakura fills hes lonely existence doesn't mean Sasuke had romantic feelings for her (evidence during in future chapters clears that up) he cared for her but it was never hinted that it was anything more then that. Team 7 was like a family to him he thought of her as a comrade and friend. but what you said is more strongly conneted with Naruto in the manga even more so actually during the Narusasu battle in part 1. Naruto is the only one who really got to him emotionaly.

Thank you! And as for Chie, Kishimoto corrected her at Jump Festa 2009, and I've noticed that ever since she's not made negative comments in regard to narusaku. In fact, at this spring's Memory of Chakra live show she was involved in the playful hinting about narusaku moments in Road to Ninja. Much to the happy vocal response of a group of narusaku shippers. Narusaku is plenty popular in Japan. It's only with the American fans, who do the opposite of fans in Japan. In Japan only a minority watch the anime, even less so are anime only fans. In the west, a large number either are anime only fans, or only sometimes readers of the manga- despite the only canon story being the manga. It's this that has so radically distorted western fandom in comparison to Japanese fandom.

NSML, I keep seeing you repeating Sakura bashing stuff as if you think it's true. I'm not seeing much in your posts that sounds like you've read the manga regularly either. It sounds like you hang out online on some other western forum that is full of Sakura bashers, and take their slant on anything to do with Naruto as the truth… I will suggest rereading the manga from chapter 1. I am a narusaku fan, and I often go back and reread chapters- every time I have I've found even more narusaku development than I remembered, even from the start of part 1, and I'm talking on both Sakura and Naruto's sides.

Anyway narusaku fans this can't be like this. i have much faith in narusaku, but it can turn other pairing in the end, if there will be pairings at all. we assume kishi is a good writer, but what if he ends up putting ss? that would be bad writing of course but it's his call. and what if the narusaku development was all for a friendship? i do know there were some moments with more than friendship, but kishi could end up killing that development, again it's his call. and for the interviews, i found pathetic of us to use them with so much frequency. what if kishi was trolling us? what if he forgot them? kishi could end up with no pairings and it still would be a great story, and he wouldn't have to explain anything, since the romance isn't a theme in naruto which is a shonen, not shoujo or fairy tail for that matter. i would be sad if he did that. now i do disagree with us saying out loud that narusaku will win. we don't know that! Its brought up because it NEVER gets mentioned and wtf? so far i haven't heard anybody in weeks constanley bring it up like its the only argument we have. We don't need to rely on that at all.

Actually i don't think he can kill off their development. He said in his recent JUMP interview the ending is already determined he has no doubts and current/future chapters can't change that. Whats left for NS? Naruto hasn't confessed yet and we still have yet to know Sakuras true feelings for him. These are plot holes needed to be addressed. Kishi wouldn't have wasted all that panel time for nothing basically. he said years ago before he started part 2( can't remember the exact words) he said he felt he got the romance wrong in part 1 and would like to develop one of the one-side pairings into canon.

If this is turning into a NaruSaku debate don't you think we should continue it in the debate thread instead of the RtN thread? o_o Isnt this is for the movie and what goes on with it? I don't mean to be rude or anything, I just wouldn't want to see a Kage have to shut it down due to arguing... Sure we talk about NS and NH and SS here but it usually involves what's in the movie ...

I'm glad you guys are getting back in order. For a second, I was about to enter my LAP. I done it once and I can do it again. Test me, if you dare!

Anyway, one last comment about the "pairing war." I can safely say that once NaruSaku is canon, the reward will be huge, since many of you are waiting for confirmation (it's been over 10 years now?). Imagine once it becomes canon. Do you know how much relief we all going to feel. It will be one of the best days of our lives. I know I'm ready. And I got my bachelor degree already. This is going to be grander than that! (just kidding, maybe)

Trailer should be coming very soon. If anything, let's wait for a review of the movie to calm you guys down. Like someone said, there are teases of NaruSaku in there. Question is: WHEN!?

To get back on track with new Road to Ninja info, they just put something new about it in it's official twitter page. It has the number 30 and hour of 13:30-14:00. I hope that refers to the trailer and that it will be available June 30 from 13:30-14:00.

Not the long trailer announcement, but an event announcement. At 1:30-2PM on June 30th at the park around Tokyo's Yurakucho Mullion 1F tower there will be an event promoting Road to Ninja. It sounds like from what is said a bunch of the voice actors will be there, as well as someone that has to dress up in a full Naruto costume and act like Naruto.

(Maybe they will do an open air showing of the long trailer though, it's the sort of thing you'd expect at that kind of event, since it's now just a bit less than a month before the movie opens, so I'd expect the promotion to hit peak now.)

By the way, was it completely confirmed that in that blog which we talked about a while ago there was a mention of the voice actors teasing about narusaku in Road to Ninja. I remember that the Uzumaki Sakura stickers were addressed but I wasn't completely sure about any mention of the movie.
