The poll was who would you want to get married to. So they probably thought less about their love life as much as "Look I had a rough day at work can you just cook, clean, take care of the kids, and then have sex with me for me to relive stress. (or I'll just have sex with my mistress later) Thanks." Remember affairs are very common in Japan. This poll isn't looking for love that will last years for them it who would you like to have take care of the home and raise you kids for you for them.

Also I don't watch that much of those other anime could you in one sentence each sum up their personalities ie kosaka is a___. asuna is a___. and so on because i would imaging that it probably the same for most of those girl...just that most of those girl are probably more interesting in their story then hinata. Or it's a character by character thing and hinata fits that one role (in the story she surprisingly a failure at it) perfectly.

I haven't yet... but lets be fair here, GF actually stuck to the story it wanted to tell, meaning romance was like 1% of the actual story, unlike Kishi forcing it to be like 50% of the ending

Because all you have is the wanking otaku and the pro-enders. Sakura was ranked 4th at the ending of 2014 and I bet she's not in the top 15 anymore. Rational fans have moved on.

Let me look up the anime then... Nisekoi... *see image of the blond girl with the long hair and bow* Oh wait! I remember this series! It's awful!

 

I completely forgot about that girl's entire existence because she is literally over shadowed by everyone in the series, and it has that stupid "find the girl with the key to open that locket" plot line. Is the manga still going? I gave up after a few chapters? Is the secondary best friend romance still more interesting and engaging that that awful harem thing with the locket and the keys?
