Eh as long as All Might doesn't die TOO soon I'm fine cause I want more interaction with him and Izuku before he goes. that way if and when he actually dies it will be all the more impactful. Or at least give them a grand moment together before he goes to make it a good realistic emotional anguish. That's all I ask for.

If the last chapter was their last interaction, then that was enough. There's no way you can get any more meaningful than that.

perhaps, but still I'd like to see more mentoring from All Might to Deku before they part. That's just me though. Also I really want the last villain to be All For One as it was foreshadowed some time ago

As for the newest chapter, I was genuinely surprised about the direction it went in. A boarding school for the students to shape them up quicker into being ready to face the League of Villains? Interesting direction to go in.
One thing I asked after this was if Jirou is gonna get more screentime? They could've showed Aizawa going to anyone's house, but Horikoshi chose to show her over everyone else.
This may sound weird but Bakugo's mother was kinda hot 😕. Anyway, I like the dynamic of the Katsuki family. And what a good character development moment for Bakugo thanking All-Might and accepting his choice to not elaborate on his relationship with Midoriya.
Now for the shocker of the chapter: I totally understand Midoriya's mother's choice to not allow him to go. He has gotten into a lot of kitten since he enrolled in this school and she wants him to be safe. What is the unfortunate part about this is that Tomura is gonna be gunning for Midoriya no matter what. He has it out for him and like I said before, he and Izuku are the next All-Might and Sensei, so they're gonna end up fighting no matter what. This boarding school is what he needs and he will end up going since you can't really continue the story without Midoriya there; unless All-Might trains him one-on-one while the other students are at the boarding school and we get a timeskip, though I feel it is WAY too early for one.
All in all, excited to see where things go.

Bakugou's parents know what's up with their child, but haven't really done anything to fix it. Great parents indeed. Doesn't help that the mom is violent towards her own son (don't you dare say that she's "softhearted" on the inside; doesn't work like that with parents).
Anyways, I totally understand Deku's mom to object this moving into the dorm. While I know that Deku will eventually persuade his mother, I think it is only fair that his mom finds out about One For All. She deserves to know the truth of why her son has manifested (or inherited) such a risky quirk. At least she knows that with training, the damage will become less in the future.

From what I can see, I'd say her abusive behaviour is pretty damn justified. The kid backtalks his parents at every turn, even at his dad who's not even doing the hitting. And not to mention his massive ego that's comparable to Trump (yes, I went there). The good thing is, he's taken several hits in that area.
That massive ego and pride of his is something she's always been worried about, and since she also lives in the same neighborhood as the Midoriyas, I'm sure she knows all about her son's bullying. But on the other side, he also gets good grades in school, which I'm sure that he uses to his advantage so they don't do anything about his behaviour. See, Asian culture is judgemental on people by their public life, so if she were to do something about his behaviour, they would see it as "going too far" because they think Kacchan's this flawless kid with a bright future.
But that doesn't mean she tries to take him down a peg or two. I'd say that she's been warning him that he's not all he's cracked up to be and that it's a big world out there, and one day he'll meet people who are better than he is. And he does, in Todoroki and Midoriya. Now that I think about it, his shock at seeing his classmates in the battle simulation lesson might very well be him realizing what his mother's been warning him about.
All those times he's dismissed her warnings, it comes back to bite him real hard.
I don't think she's a softie either. She's just a mother who's concerned about her son's attitude and if she has to be "abusive" to correct that, so be it.
I also have to call out those who calls her abusive when they conveniently look over the fact that he's far more abusive of a person and that abusive behaviour is honestly, to me, is probably what sets her off. I honestly doubt she condones her son's bullying. I honestly believe it's the one thing she wouldn't stand for.
The family that couldn't be.

If she's just scolding Katsuki and otherwise being a passive watcher to her son's acts, she's just only worse in my eyes. She should have sent him to therapy or something. And as mother she STILL should have taken measurements to change her son's behavior and not wait for others to change him. It never should have come this far.
It doesn't matter whether or not they are Asian. I'm Asian myself and to a certain degree, I understand what you mean, but that is more about the bad character. Katsuki is just violent child. I think a line should be drawn there.

And what good would that do? Like it or not, Kacchan does have his determination and drive as his good points. If he wasn't, he'd just settle for average grades at school instead of striving to excel at everything. Honestly, his social circle is the one really at fault. You blame his mother, but what about his teachers? Shouldn't they be at fault too for putting him on a pedestal? She's the only one shown so far making an effort to get her son on the right track to be a better man.
She knows her son is far better than that. I doubt she hasn't been furious at him many times before at his bullying. Locking him up in an asylum is counterproductive from what we can see so far. He has a lot of talent, it would be an absolute waste to send him to someplace like that. I would think that she had a similar mindset to her son in the past, but as her world got bigger, she realizes that there's always going to be someone better. That's why she believes that he will eventually get his comeuppance.
About his bullying, let's be honest Deku will never rat out Kacchan. What can you expect from her if she doesn't know all the details about his bullying? All she can get would be second-hand accounts from Inko (Deku's mom), but not himself.
The family that couldn't be.

Wow that last chapter was emotional at the end. That aside Katsuki's dysunctional family isn't an issue for me. I find them pretty funny and I they are just as I imagined. As for the excuse, well there really isn't an excuse that I can think of so I won't question it too much, but I just assume Katsuki is naturally defiant in general and no amount of scolding or discipline from his parents would change him til he had his ego kicked down.
Given but good to know:

Watched the final episode of the season earlier, pretty good in total. Wish TG had gotten the treatment BNHA did. Looking forward to season 2, although I'm not looking forward to anything with Bakugou in it tbh. Seriously hate that guy
It was definitely a good anime. Stayed true to the original source after all *husk, husk*
