Well, we don't really know strength, and we can't tell based off of a first glimpse. I also don't think being taken over by his ghoul side is any indication of strength, as Yoshimura was never psycho but was one of the strongest. Also, it's said that Kakuja were rare, so maybe he doesn't have a Kakuja. I was under the impression that Kanoe was referring to Eto as Owl. Also, id be hard pressed to believe that Takizawa, even if he was a Kakuja, could beat Kaneki. Not only is Kaneki stronger than he was years ago, but now he's proficient with a Quinque, on top of his Kagune. Plus, there was the Arima comparison.

Also, I find it ironic that if Takizawa, for some ungodly reason was referred to as Owl, Kaneki was likened to Arima. If that's the case, Ishida was clearly pointing to a confrontation.
I don't hate him, he was just annoying every now and again with his idiotic rivalry with Akira.

I didn't find annoying at all, in fact I felt for him especially when he cried..I like almoset everyone..lol Mutsuki though..still deciding..

I actually liked Takizawa. Never deemed him as annoying, but a very competitive and realistic written guy. What do you dislike about him?
He won't die now I think, but, honestly, death at this point is the best option he has. He looks so mental on that last page...

He wasn't annoying, it was just those instances when he got jealous of Akira. There were a couple scenes where he was competitive, but then there were two that I remember where he was sulking about it. I didn't mind him other than that though. So you think he needs to die because of insanity? You're better than me, I think he needs it to snuff it because he's trying to steal Kaneki's swag XD

Hahaha, if you think Takizawa is stealing the show from Kaneki in my eyes, you're dead wrong XD He looks creepy, not bada** Kaneki did. No one can steal Kaneki's swag (except Touka-chan ) Pls, the only one who needs to snuff at death is Ayato (another 103 bones scene pls).

But seriously: I care that much for Takizawa to see him getting released from this inhumane side of him T_T

Ch.20

You've been predicting that Sasaki and Hinami reunion ever since you've caught up XD

But I feel like this time we might have to add Seidou into that reunion, too... B/c for sure there will be a Sasaki vs Seidou Takizawa fight.

 

 

Chapter 20

True, although I remember after finishing Tokyo Ghoul and getting into re for the first time we see Sasaki and it just seems like the most logical route to go. I wouldn't really this triggered his memory, but it chapter 10 or 11 can't remember which one, but I remember Sasaki saying something about Touka or the coffee shop being familar. just a small tiny hint and he met her. Granted Touka didn't say anything because she was kinda unsure about it, but with Hinami it feels like the most logical choice for his mind to get trigger back. Plus it's pretty obvious they consider each other as siblings which is I've been saying it in most of my reviews because that's something Hinami would do especially since she hasn't seen her oni-chan in two years.


Also I agree when it comes throwing Seidou in the mix not just for the sake of making it more dramatic, but also for a great fight between Sasaki and Takizawa. Which by the way that is gonna look sick when that does happen.

Chapter 20

I kinda do too, but at the same time I'm also thinking of it from a writer's perspective because think about it you have two characters that know each other and coincidently they're in the same area, but they don't come across one other. It would just seem like a huge missed opportunity and plus the set up with where Isayama is taking the story just seems to be heading in that direction.
