Looking for a quick background thing on Narutopedia and came across some really biased stuff on both Naruto's page (about his regard for Hinata) and Sakura's (about her love for Sasuke and her lying to Naruto).
Ugh! I never go to other sites or any of that, but sometimes when I come across something like this and I think, "Are we reading the same thing?"
I know they are just made by random people and it means essentially nothing. But sometimes finding something like that is like a little bomb.
Here I am just reading along, and WHAM! Naruto loves Hinata! Sakura's a liar!
Not bashing or anything, but I can see how people get ticked over pairing crap. Messed up translations and insane wickipedia posts. *sigh*
I won't go into it, but there simply has been no other romantic character development. None! Lots of implied stuff, but none real. It defies logic.
^ Naruto and Hinata don't even have the humorous stuff. Neither does anyone else. Shika/Temari or...or...anyone.
Anyway, I'll really contribute now, since I've taken the time to rant. Catsi and Froot were talking about humor in their relationship. And there does always seem to be a 'summing up' or 'back to normal' moment after the suspense.
The panel with Sakura smiling at Naruto in the ramen stand is interesting. Her whole face fills it up. It very much reminds me of a lot of the Naruto panels in the past. Where he looks like he's going to burst of the page. Well, as the reader, we get to see that little image through Naruto's eyes. That she's going to burst with happiness, good news about her master, and Naruto's the first one she shares it with (it's implied. I don't care if it isn't sound, I'm runnin' with it.). Anyway, no one else get that kind of treatment. It's clear that his happiness makes her happy.
*srsly I spend to much time thinking about this*
