I have a few things I thought I'd bring here.

Apparently Nintendo's going to begin releasing paid DLC for 3DS games starting with the next Fire Emblem title (FE 13: Kakusei/Awakening). Here's the story.

Story

I felt I should probably clarify this post from a month ago. Apparently Nintendo's first game with paid DLC won't be Fire Emblem: Kakusei but Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. I'm not sure if it's because Fire Emblem's release date was moved, or if there was some piece of clarification I missed. Here's the story if anyone's interested.

Speaking of Fire Emblem 3DS, I thought I'd share this. This is from a while ago, but I just discovered it.



Guh, I'm already drooling. I really hope this comes to the U.S. It looks like a fusion of Sacred Stones and the Tellius games. The combat graphics look almost as good as Radiant Dawn, but I'm only gleaning that from this one video. The multi-person combat system looks interesting, I'm curious to see more of that. I wonder if that will tie into the support system somehow.

Finally, for any Metal Gear fans, I thought I should mention that you can download a free demo of Snake Eater 3D starting today. I played it for a little while. It's not really my kind of game, but the graphics are VERY impressive. I'd recommend trying it out, in any case.

I don't have it, but I'll probably download the free demo once I finish up the MGS Snake Eater one. These demos are so, so big, and my SD card is so, so small.
It probably doesn't help that I have like a gigabyte of music on it though. I love the 3DS Sound Feature. For some reason, I never get tired of making hard rock songs sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks covers.

*whistles* Wow, I knew the 3DS had a huge sales jump, but I didn't know it was breaking records. Congrats, Nintendo! It definitely looks like it has developers turning heads.

It seems that EB Games is taking pre-orders for “Donkey Kong 3D”. Mock boxes of the game are shown in the image above next to the likes of Kid Icarus: Uprising and Smash Bros. 3DS.

Interestingly, Italian retailer “Muliplayer.com"has a page up for the title on their site as well.

Donkey Kong 3D? I'd love to see something like that on the 3DS. It looks like EB is just recycling DKCR's box art, so I'm not sure how legitimate it is, but I'm sure I'd pick it up if it came out this year.

I'm also curious about the Smash Bros. title right next to it. I didn't know it was coming out this year. From what I heard, Sakurai only just started on SSB 3DS/Wii U. If it's true, the next console Smash Bros. might even be a launch title for the Wii U, which would be a really smart move on Nintendo's part. Even skeptics like me would buy a Wii U early if that was the case. Though I'm already sure I'll be throwing money down the minute Zelda HD gets a release date.

Speaking of Sakurai, Kid Icarus: Uprising is set to release on the 23rd outside of Japan. Anyone picking it up? It's gotten decent reviews so far, and the multiplayer's supposed to be outstanding.

Zelda HD for Wii U would be nice but Miyamoto said he doesn't really care for it, he likes to be different. Then again he's stepped from Mario and Zelda to work on a new title.

Super Mario All Stars 3D or SMB3 would be awesome for the 3DS.

Like Dreamer said, it was basically just a demo to show off the Wii U at E3. They could possibly use some gameplay elements from it, but I doubt we're going to see a new console Zelda till mid 2013 at the very earliest. From what I gather though, Eiji seemed to be more proactive in Skyward Sword than Miyamoto was, so I wouldn't be surprised if future console Zeldas reuse some of the gameplay elements from SS. Which is great, if you loved Skyward Sword (like I did ).

But....this isn't a Wii U thread, so I'll bring some 3DS news.

You should do it, it actually has a really strong library right now. I just started on Abyss, finally. Heck, I'd say OOT 3D alone makes it worth it, but that's probably because I'm a Zelda addict.

Big new details include Marth returning as Day 1 DLC character and a 'Marriage System'. It's sort of an interesting idea, IMO. Past FE titles have included an option to ship certain characters together to get special endings, but apparently this game will allow you to marry them off in-game, at least from what I've read. Shipping fans, rejoice, ha ha. Now they better make Ike and Mia available on DLC, so my OTP can finally happen!

I'm not surprise aside from graphics, fun factor, and large game library so far it's how economic it is. Come on anyone would prefer to spend 170$ over 250 to 300$ on the Vita.

You know what? I'm going to do it I'll start saving money to buy a 3DS with Tales of the Abyss.

I actually do have plans on picking up the Awakening bundle since I missed the Zelda one. I'm eagerly waiting for Australia to have a release date.
