I just read the spoilers on NF and um... was Sasuke seriously gonna chidori Karin?

You guys all need to take a chill pill and relax! We only have two pages worth of spoiler. I honestly believe that Sakura is truly there to kill Sasuke... who knows? Kiba, lee, and co might have came up with a plan and stuff to take Sasuke down in the OTHER PAGES THAT WEREN'T SHOWN!!

Just wait until the full chapter comes out. We know Sakura's character - she isn't about to go and betray her village. This definitely has to be a ploy of some sorts. She's gonna kill Sasuke, or at least attempt to.

Don't get so down about this whole thing this is Kishi's way of developing Sakura's heroine role just like he said at the interview and it's just like what happened with Tsunade and Orochimaru. Just because she asked Sasuke to take her with him it doesn't mean she's going to turn into part 1 Sakura and they will fall in love please this isn't a Disney movie. Sasuke won't trust her as well as Madara hopefully Kakashi and Sai will arrive just in time to help her fight. Let's not jump to conclusions with so much N/S development in the manga Kishi is not going to throw away all that development just like that. Let's all have faith in Kishi because I sure do.

Actually, there IS one plot hole that Kishimoto could use for the Karin part of the spoiler. Sasuke was running around trying to find a Heaven scroll when Naruto and Sakura were going to open their earth scroll. This is the only time that Sasuke was apart from Naruto and Sakura, and furthermore, Karin would have either been with A: The Sound, or B: Another village, likely hers.

Therefor, Kishimoto actually COULD get away with that. As for the Sakura part, there\'s nothing inconsistent about it, it would fully explain her actions throughout this arc since she learned that they were relying too much on Naruto and that she was part of the source of his pain. By relieving him of the PoaL and taking on Sasuke by herself, it takes care of both points. Also, Sakura needed to know if it was all because of her, or if she was only part of it, and the truth is she is only a piece of the puzzle. At this point, she is going to do her best to take out Sasuke, but if she fails, she figures that Naruto will then understand just how far gone he is.

In other words, this chapter actually fits in with the continuity just fine.

One good thing i'd like to see come of this is some Naruto/Karin interaction. I always liked them as a crack pairing for some reason, and now this setup is perfect for them to have some solo interaction.

Oh and then Karui could come back into the whole mess. Naruto/Karui/Karin.
