can you and pite delete y'alls posts? or edit it or something? i think that everyone else just think that jyuuki and ferrumo are talking with the cops about Officer B's behavior-- so them suspecting what's happened is kind of impossible because a) there's no window outside the bar's entrance and b) jyuuki's scream would be drowned out by the air pressure outside.

sorry guys XDD we kinda didn't want it to be solved that easily-- that's why we're a neutral thread-- there's no easy way out other than with the help of personal skill. >w> )

"You didn't even listen to a freaking word I--" I growled out behind my clenched teeth before cutting myself off to launch my head "SAID!"-- backwards.

I heard a satisfying crunch and a slight pain pervaded my temples but I ignored it to grasp the opportunity, because remember I freaking grasp. Captain Selective Hearing and General Fail was interrupted in all his corruption and faultered back, where which I slipped out of his grasp and with a growl, I body-slammed him back--

As soon as Officers Red and Brown saw the girl attack their Captain, they both jumped out of their flying cruisers, pulled their weapons, and began shouting at the young 'Major' and the girl, while pointing their guns at both.

"DOWN! DOWN ON THE GROUND NOW! BOTH OF YOU!"

where which I slipped out of his grasp and with a growl, I body-slammed him back--

off the ship.

And they then watched in horror, as the crazy wench sent herself and their Captain tumbling off the edge.

I looked up again and sucked in a deep breath (wasn't hard, the air pressure wanted to tear out my lungs) and shouted, "HEY, CAPTAIN LAME! CLIMB UP ME! HURRY GODD*MNIT, I CAN'T HOLD ON FOREVER!"

Captain B held his breath, and didn't make any sudden movements, as he and the crazy chick dangling precariously from the metal pole.

The only thoughts that were going through his head, was that he was going to absolutely KILL the chick if they got out of this whole mess alive.

But like the Goddesses and their whipage of crap all over my life, he seemed to be used to deserved pain and so he got his wits about him enough to grab a hold of the front of my tanktop and pull me along with him. Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap-- The only thing in my mind was how much this sucked and how I wanted to just go home and sleep and eat and have a bubble bath and holy kitten I'm going to die--

OMG POLE.

POLEPOLEPOLEPOLEPOLE-- I grabbed onto it, upside down, with my legs and hung on for dear life. And his life. I looked above me, upside down and realized that we were both hanging on the side of Cid's ship with only a metal bar to hold us up. My legs had a vice-grip, because I seriously couldn't let go.

But he could.

Though he would die.

And -- I wouldn't wish that on my biggest enemy-- including this idiot. 'Okay, this sucks this sucks so hard harder than anything ever and holy kitten I have to think... think think think thinkthinkthink-- handcuffs, Captain of a Police Sector hanging for his life, me holding us both up from a metal pole, we're on the side of a ship-- HANDCUFFS! Maybe I could get my handcuffs to replace my legs-- crapcrapcrap.'

Holy crap, holy crap, HOLY CRAP! How had things gotten to this point, I thought frantically to myself, as I watched Jyu's boyfriend being told to get down on the ground by the cops who were supposed to be here helping us...not arresting us.

Damn Sky Police...they were almost as bad as the Imperial soldiers in some regards.

And then to my continued growing horror, at the quickly escalating situation, I watched as Jyu and the blond cop went tumbling over the edge, after she beaned him in the face with the back of her head.

"Oh kitten!" I exclaimed, as I scrambled out the window that I was looking out of, because I was sure that if I went out the front, I would be held up by the same cops who had Jyu's boyfriend targeted by their guns.

As soon as I was out the window, I hopped onto one of a air scooter that was hovering in park, near the side of Cid's bar. I quickly hot-wired it, utilizing the skills that my pirate-dad had taught me, and immediately took off and made straight for Jyu and the blond cop, hoping to reach them before they both plummeted to their deaths.

Of all the grudge-holding, old smelly disgusting Sky-Police Captains (that only escalated my hate for blues) that I just had to be LUCKY enough to be STUCK and caught hanging precariously from a pole from a MOVING SHIP that totally was not meant for teenage bartenders or ninjas or adult-sized man-girls.

HE WAS IGNORING ME.

SERIOUSLY UNIVERSE, WASSUP!? KARMA? I CAN CHANGE, REALLY!, I couldn't help but mentally beg as the wind flapped us around like two pieces of extra large meat (I was the high-in-demand kind) being tenderized against the ship, which made me think Holy fudge-nuggets, being a slab of meat must REALLY suck because you have to be tenderized even if you're sensitive on the inside, which I was.

I ignored the harsh air pressure and the wind that felt like I was being slapped continuously and squinted above me, not believing that he was choosing NOT TO MOVE when I specifically told him to DO JUST THAT GAWD I HATED COPS. And as soon as I noticed the pits of my knees were slicking with sweat and it was getting really really hard to keep that vice-grip, panic drained my face and I tried again, my voice getting alittle bit shakier, my arms useless what with those damnable cuffs which were serving more retarded than anything ever what with a Captain Fat-Ass hanging from my vest and just my luck it looked like he was loosing his grip. I clenched my teeth as my grip loosened alittle bit more.

"OKAY SERIOUSLY MAN, YOU CAN HATE ME ALL YA WANT AND BELIEVE ME THAT MAKES ME HAPPY, SO HAPPY Y'KNOW. BUT DO IT WHILE YOU'RE ALIVE KAY? CLIMB. UP. ME!"

I froze (well as much as the merciless air pressure allowed) when I heard a whisper of the tell-tale sound of one of the bars waitresses' favorite toys approaching-- hover... hover boat? Hoversboard? SHIHNA'S HOVERSCOOTER! Holy crap, I never realized how happy I would be to see that dinky excuse of a hovermobile. I squinted against all the harsh winds and caught sight of someone on a hoverscooter not too far from us-- coming from the docking station of the geezer's ship. "HOLY GODDESSES I LOVE YOU TOO!" Elation really didn't make sense when I had tea with it, besides that I had the biggest I owe you so much look on my face as I realized -- squintsquint -- Raves (holy crap RAVEN, IT'S RAVEN EVERYONE) was headed our way.

But-- a hoverscooter. Crap on a cracker, Captain PMS and I wouldn't both fit on that dinky thing. I just hope she'd realize that, 'RavenRavenRavenRaven, take the Captain first-- our weight capacity would totally--'

She lost it...her grip...but luckily for her I was already under her and the Captain on the hover scooter, and I caught both of them on the way down on the back of the scooter. The scooter immediately began to strain, chug, and wheeze as the combined weight of three people began pulling it down out of the sky.

Oh kitten, oh kitten, OH kitten! I cried out to myself internally, as the scooter began weaving and stalling in mid-air.

Oh Goddess Amaterasu, we're all gonna die! I thought, as I struggled to keep us all aloat.

And then...SALVATION!

I saw a small floating city park just to the left, and underneath Cid's Bar, and right in the center of the floating city park was a pond!

I whooped for joy internally, even as mothers grabbed their children and pulled them out of the way, and old men smoking pipes allowed their pipes to fall from their mouths in astonishment, as this little dinky hover scooter fell out of the sky, and right into the center of the pond.

And as the three of us all splashed down into the center of the pond, and began to slowly sink until we all realized that the pond was only 4 feet deep, the only thought that went through my mind was...

Maybe I was better off being chased down all over the place by the goons =.=

Sorry, if it seemed that krisk and I kind of went off on a tangent...because we did, and it was hella fun XD

But now the Cid's Bar universe has been 'expanded', and we all don't have to be cooped up inside the bar all the time just because the rp is called Cid's 'Bar'
The bar is our main location and 'home' port, but there are other places that we can go to in this universe...like the middle of a pond on a floating park

With widened eyes, I could only gape at the events in which suddenly took place.

What.

The.

HELL?!

For a moment there. I was the one to be worried because there was no doubt that these officers might as well recognize me due to everything I have done in my life. For gods sake, these multi-colored haired officers probably had me up on a WANTED list for years until I finally settled in here--- and for some reason, they did look pretty familiar. But this... this was a completely different level of crazy and it startled me. Weren't these idiots supposed to be helping us? When did the term for Officer change in the past few years?! And if it did, why didn't anyone have the nerve to tell me?!

...

This wasn't happening was it? I did not just see that sudden fall take place, by gods, I hope I didn't. But here I was just standing with a box of my treasures in hand, while all of this was taking place - what kind of person did that freakin' make me?!

And after all that kitten I said about protecting her and the rest of them?!

God. I hated myself right now.

Watching the fatal events of the hoverscooter -wait, THAT'S MINE!- I could only let out a silent scream overhearing Raven's shouts as their 'journey' without me continued on... and by the gods, I was scared. And honestly, it showed. For some reason, not only did I feel a wave of insanity wash over me but at the same time, I was forced to surpress a needed scream. Sure, they may have made it out of all of this... but they were still down THERE. And look where I was? Glancing about, my darkened eyes took hold onto the edge of the ship as my bare legs began to sprint on (I wasn't even thinking right now), feeling my senses kick in, I could only watch as my hands released the wooden box and it was pushed away from me. Well, there goes my weapons... and here I go myself. Nowhere near me was that damnable pond, so I was certain there wouldn't be much for me to land on (unless someone was kind enough to decide to catch me - if I made it anywhere near my certain destination in the first place).

I jumped on impulse, not knowing exactly where the heck I was even going; but a scream from above oddly rang within my ears as it mixed in with the air pressure. Made me wonder if they actually spotted me doing something so stupid. But at the same time, it seemed that I was going deaf, just great.

"WHERE THE HELL IS THAT POND WHEN I NEED IT?!"

Noticing a shower of weapons pass by me, I couldn't help but twitch upon realizing that my dagger was gone. Yet another lovely thing was happening to me - AND WHY DID I JUMP IN THE FIRST PLACE? As of now, I could see Jyuuki, Raven and the rest of them. STUPID. STUPID. STUPID.

Did I mention I was brainless, at that? So much for being a hero? I guess.

Why, oh why, was it because he stole that toy when he was 5? "Stupid Jyu..." He looked as Raven used the air-scooter. "Well, if we ever make it through this whole thing, looks like she's good enough to be with us. Is this life-or-death situation #400?" Except the other 399 life-or-death situation didn't involve taking a tumble off the ship. He calmed down as Raven seemed to have it under control and looked at... no one


"Shin, oh kitten!!" He nearly missed her foolish heroics. "GAH! WHAT TO DO!!" For the first time in his life, he didn't know what to do...

"Hey, um...Cid?" I called out, "I got my hovercraft. Give me a minute, I'll get them back up here..." I looked over the edge, "...looks like Lady Luck was here for us today. They landed in some kind of...floating park. Huh..." I made a note to find out who took care of those...

I ran to my transport, and was barely in my seat as I ignited the engines. I punched into the speaker-com on the ship, and my voice echoed, "I'll be back in two shakes of a Bangaa's tail!"

The ship lifted from it's docking bay, and flew off to the park that happened to be miraculously there when that little hover-scooter was falling. Shihna seemed to be falling too...oh crap, she was FALLING! Okay, change of plans, save falling girl, then rescue people in park.

"Hang on, Shihna!" I yelled, my voice booming over the speaker. I rocketed towards her, and somehow managed to make my descent level with hers. I tipped one of the wings towards her, so that it was right under her, and gently moved it up so that she'd be able to land on the transport safely, "Shihna, I know you don't really trust me all that much, but I think it'd be best if you get out of the open air right now!"

With that, a hiss of a top hatch of the ship was made, and it opened, "Get inside, meet me in the piloting room." The speaker crackled, "I'll move us down to the floating park at a slow speed so you can get in safely." I finished, and began the slow descent towards the park where the three others had hopefully landed safely.

I sputtered and splashed as I stood up couching and hacking water, and then looked around to see if Jyu and that idiot cop were alright.

Suddenly I heard a loud cry, and looked over at one of the mothers clutching her son, as she pointed upwards and away in the direction of Cid's bar, and when my hazel-green eyes focused on the direction that the lady was pointing, I felt my blood literally run cold.

SHIN! What the hell was she doing?! Did she just take a giant leap off of the side of Cid's airship?! What the hell was wrong with these people, and taking random dives off of the side of a floating airship anyways?!

I looked around frantically, and saw Jyu sputter to the surface of the pond, still unfortunately handcuffed by the blond cop, and I waved desperately at her to get her attention, and then pointed in a panic upwards at Shin who was doing an amazing impersonation of a de-feathered bird, flapping around in the wind as she continued to tumble to certain doom, as she was just not close enough to the floating park and pond to make it.

I had to do something.

I looked over at Jyu one last time, gave her a weak smile, then quickly dashed off to the side of the pond, tripping in the knee-deep water, as I desperately tried to make it to my destination.

When I finally got there, I hurriedly apologized to the mother who was still clutching her child, grabbed the young boy's hoverboard, jumped onto it, and immediately flew up into the sky, and headed straight for Shin, who was just about to tumble right past the floating park.

On my way up, I skidded the hoverboard past where the blond officer was standing, splashing him with a huge wake of water kicked up by the board, and with a smirk flashed by him, grabbing the keys to the handcuffs that I saw attached to the back of his pants, and tossed them to Jyu who caught them with a huge grin on her face.

Helping a new great friend escape from a rotten cop...priceless.

With a WHOOP I shot into the sir, rode the air currents, dived down hard and fast...and...caught Shin in my arms as she was tumbling past. WOO!

I quickly positioned her behind me on the hoverboard, feeling the weight of our two bodies combined begin pulling it down, and aimed straight for the pond again...and a certain blond-haired, dirty cop.

Hey, if I was gonna have to take a second dive into the water, at least I could go bowling for bad cops while I was at it, I thought to myself as I felt Shin's arms tighten around my waist, as we both headed straight for the cop's blond-target head.

"That's it! I can't take all this chaos anymore, I'm old! My ticker can't take it! I'll go on a paid leave!" Cid ranted, he was somewhat relieved at what happened, but he's still nervous, especially if the Sky Police (no matter how corrupt they are, they're still the Law) decide to throw them all to jail. "What's next, more mobsters? With that Elvaan girl, I think the chances just went up."

I felt as if I was in heaven.

The air felt nice within my hair, the scenery was basically lovely and this fall... was that of a livesaver. Although I could not see myself, there was nothing to show but a smile across my face, and during this moment of stopping time - I had never felt so peaceful before in my life. Something was cheering me on within my subconscience, edging me to push myself even farther during this drop... just seeing the blue sky go past me...

It was wonderful.

However, a not-so familiar voice ruined this so called 'sanctuary' as I glanced towards the one attempting to save me. He was simply a fool, that Vitty or whatever his actual name was. Could he not see that I wanted this? To just kick back and enjoy this long ride?

Just the determination in his voice to save me nearly caused an uprise of laughter, and with a smile, I basically pushed him away with my words. I was actually serious about this; and so was Shihna. "Hang on? Why should she...?" The question was simple, but from his perspective she was talking in third person, something that wasn't as common with a girl like herself. Sure, there were times when a child would be caught talking in third person while going on their own 'adventure'... but I wanted to make them wonder. I wanted to make them wary of what went on in this mind.

"I'd hate to say it, but she clearly doesn't want to stop. Shihna has been longing for realization like this." Waving sweetly, I gave my goodbyes to Jyuuki's ex and continued on with the ride. Might as well enjoy it to the very last moments of breath.

Why couldn't neither one of us ever get what we wanted? Even after everything in which took place during her life and all the people who nearly killed her (included myself); she was still alive. Well, wasn't this just peachy keen? And why was this Elvaan girl even helping...? The one from the Pirate Mafia whom I never had the chance to get my fingers on, and so maybe Shihna could do something for moi? I would appreciate it very much.

"You shouldn't have done that... you should've just let her fall. That's what she wanted." My voice was nearly a whisper, as she held onto Raven's waist. So it seems when she's in the protection of someone she feels safe with, this thief decides to change her mind? Traitor. But I wasn't going to be able to stay here much longer, Shihna was waking up even quicker than the last time she went into this phase of Missing Time. So much for having a little fun, she would just have to do it for me next time.

Ah yes, it would truly be something else next time.

"Wait...what? Raven? What are you?" My eyes were wide, and nothing at the moment was calculating correctly in my brain. Wasn't I just standing on Cid's ship a moment ago, with my treasure box in hand? And why exactly were we on the hoverboard - did something just happen in the past few seconds and I totally miss it? Although my attention was quickly drawn to the fact that we were leering closer to that pond... and someone's unruly -and awful- blonde hair. Oooh, it seemed we were going to having an extra soft landing. And I wasn't talking about the water. Maybe I did miss a few things for the time being but I was certainly going to have some fun~

After a little dip in the water, of course. WOO! Why am I having so much fun again?

Officer B was beaned right in the head by the bottom of the hoverboard, just as he was about to make a lunge at that troublesome girl who had taken him off the edge of the airship, after first bashing the back of her head into his face. He now had a busted and bleeding lip, and was soaked from head to toe in pond water. The Elvaan girl had also stolen his handcuff keys, and had tossed them to the delinquent to free herself, and by the time he had gotten his wits about him, and made to grab after the infuriating handcuffed girl, that damn Elvaan girl had come back again out of nowhere, and Officer B now found himself tumbling head over heel back into the water.

Shin and I hit the blond cop head on, and tumbled ass over end into the water...my second dunk for the day.

I spluttered back up to the surface once more, and quickly made my way over to Shin, grabbed the front of her top, and using what strength I had left from this most exhausting day, hauled her up to her feet, put my face mere centimeters from hers, and began shouting into her face.

Shin and I hit the blond cop head on, and tumbled ass over end into the water...my second dunk for the day.

I spluttered back up to the surface once more, and quickly made my way over to Shin, grabbed the front of her top, and using what strength I had left from this most exhausting day, hauled her up to her feet, put my face mere centimeters from hers, and began shouting into her face.

"Are you freaking crazy?! What kind of hair-brained, nutjob, kamikaze stunt was that just now! You could have been killed!"

"Kamikaze stunt... killed... what the hell are you talking about?!" I moved away from the shouting girl, almost positive that there was blood boilling within me. For the moment, I was still calculating everything that was going on but I had no memories of exactly what brainless stunt I just pulled off. With a mumbled groan, I had the sudden urge to slap myself. Why, oh why was this happening to me again - what did my mother call it? Missing Time? I was supposed to be cured of this stupid thing, there weren't supposed to be those dangerous moments when I did things I couldn't remember.

Goddamit, I'm stupid!

My sight was off and my hair covering most of my face, and the only thing I could possibly do right now was attempt to get my senses kicking back in. Not only did I lose hearing for a moment there, but the sense of touch was going off here and there. Just what the hell was happening to me? Was I falling apart like that elderly woman I recall being in the place of my mother (most of the time)... that couldn't be though. I was only nineteen, for crying out loud!

But why do I have the feeling that someone wanted me to continue with what I was just doing moments ago? Whatever that was, something in the back of my mind is nagging me - almost seems as if my own brain was scolding me for my stupidity... for stopping.

You wanted to continue on with your little ride, didn't you? But the Elvaan stopped you from achieving what you believed you deserved...am I right?

This was getting too weird.

But this weirdness only continued when the submerged officer glanced over to me and not the one who had actually hit him. That look on his face proved that he recognized me for something, and for some reason, I felt that I wasn't going to get away with this one. What was he called again? Officer B or something along those lines... oh kitten. He was the one I left at that deserted Sky Pirate airship that one time. And my idiotic younger self decided it would be fun to leave him pinned down by daggers and stripped of all of his possesions. Nope, there was no way in hell that he was going to see the goodness behind my past decisions and let me pass with this one. Yet another story I never had the courage to tell Jyuuki or Cid about.

That reminds me, I should leave something for Raven in my will also...

"Uh, hi there Officer B?"

Greet him with a smile, and see where it leads you. It shouldn't be so bad... right? Right?!
