I found this story today, and it's surprised me nicely. It's interesting, and despite the author is a NaruHina fan, I think he pulls out Naruto/Sakura's relationship pretty well (even though he's said romance isn't implied unless it's outright stated).

I find hilarious after twenty-one chapters, despite the character filter states "Naruto-Sakura" and NaruSaku's romance has been gradually developing, there's still reviews telling "I hope it isn't a NaruSaku", or "Please, don't turn it into a NaruSaku romance". The pairing in this story is clearly NaruSaku, but anti-NaruSaku fans still pray forit isn't.

Pretty much like in the manga, let's think of it.

One reviewing stating "I hope Naruto gets with Moegi because she's nice and treated well, unlike Sakura" was specially amusing. If you go for the manga, Sakura has been nice to Naruto and has treated him well, whereas he's never talked to or with Moegi. If you go for the fic, both girls are nice to Naruto and have treated him well. Hence, what is that "unlike Sakura" crap?

The minds of Sakura-haters never cease to amaze me. They always fit the reality of the manga and the canon personalities into their absurd preconceptions.

Yes, and they ALWAYS blew out of proportion her bad traits. She was a Sasuke fangirl? They make her completely obsessed. She was your stereotipical manga female lead with a streak mind? They turn her into a meanie, meanie, meanie b*tch. She seemed weak? They turn her completely talentless, which isn't true.

By the way... I wrote one review on Medicinal Lullaby last chapter, praising Shivakashi and asking her not changing her story for pleasing fanboys, and a fanboy flamed me (literally calling me "a bias fag"). I replied I didn't care for being disrespected for my opinions and he flamed me again, calling me things he is, accusing me of things I haven't done but he and other people have done, repeating his insults and inviting me to perform an onanist act.

This is ridiculous. I won't reply his childish insults again because if you read his reviews, it's obvious he's an inmature troll is trying getting a raise out of me. He wants me validating his existence. And not matter what I tell, or even I respect his POV, he'll insult me because he craves for someone acknowledging his insignificant existence.

Moreover, given that I've said and what that toddler said, I think it's obvious who behaved civilly and who acted like a disrespectful brat.

Yet... Sigh. I'm twenty-eight. And seriously I wonder why I have to put up with the insults of a brat who surely is twice younger than me, and wouldn't dare to repeat those insults on my face.

It seems not matter what I see, the level of inmaturity and disrespect of internet always astounds me.

I feel your pain, my friend. And every of us be glad and grateful for your efforts.

An abundance of bad stories and bad characterization may be a strong motivator to write fics. You want seeing at least one story does it how you think it's right.

Apparently because I don't bash Sakura and I think she's a great chracter and I'm sick of she being the scapegoat a large chunck of fandom vents their frustrations with, she's "My precious Sakura".

Excuse me? She isn't "my" precious anything. She's a figment of the imagination of Masashi Kishimoto. She's a fictional character and belongs exclusively to him. I know that. So why do I like that fictional character my opinion is less worth than the opinion of people acts like if she was a real person has personally slighted them?

Thank you for your support and encouraging words. I'm still sore because I feel like if I allowed that kid winning the argument, but... He called me a bias (apparently he doesn't know what using adjectives properly) fag. I wrote another review for telling I did not care for being insulted, and I disagreed respectfully with his/her point of view. He replied with more insults and a "go kitten yourself".

Obviously he's a troll. He doesn't care what I tell. He only wants me replying so he can flaming me again. And I have no time or interest or patience for wasting with such an individual. So I refuse acknowledging him again because that's what he wants. That's what he's delighted for (his words).

Moreover, I respectfully disagreed with him, and he insulted me for supporting NaruSaku and liking Sakura. Shivakashi is a NaruSaku and Sakura fan. Do you think she'll listen to someone who bashes NaruSaku/Sakura fans? I doubt it. So I'll have fun imagining his enraged face when Naruto and Sakura get together in Medicinal Lullaby. I'd wager he'd blame it on people like me.

It's hilarious, though. The pairing in this fanfic has been obvious from the beginning. However, a secondary female character hints liking Naruto, and a bunch of fans beg changing the canon couple screaming it's overused and it's boring and they don't match for whatever idiotic reasons, whereas Naruto and that random girl are soooo lovely together, despite they haven't nearly got scenes together.

Sort like in the canon story, isn't it?

Regarding your fic... Nowadays I'm very lazy for reviewing. i've barely reviewed some of my favorite fics. But if you post one fic, I'll try write one review.

I have a tough work writing fics because I quickly lost the inspiration, or the drive, or the momentum, or I have writer's block. I have a heap of unfinished ideas stored in my computer. Right now I'm writing one fic, not knowing if I'll finish or not, because I had one idea and I just HAD to write the beginning, even if I didn't end it. I don't know if I'll ever post the first chapters or not.
