Let's revive this thread a bit. Just finished watching the Caps - Pens game. Great atmosphere, great game.

Capitals totally deserved that game. All the Penguins outside of Crosby and Malkin mailed it in after the 2nd. 4-2 should be enough.

The next three months are going to be great as a sports fan. NHL Playoffs, NBA Playoffs, and MLB season is getting underway. All so exciting!!

I'm hoping to go to a couple of Caps game (depending if I can get a couple of my friends to go along) and enjoy the atmosphere in the Verizon Center. You can't beat playoff hockey when it comes to that.

Jaroslav Space completely shut down Ovechkin. Held without a single shot. I hope he can get over his nervous jitters.

The Caps were doing great in the first period, but the Canadiens really took over the flow of the game afterward and controlled the tempo.

Looks like Tomas Plekanec won the battle of the words against Jose Theodore. That shot was a real killer

The Canadiens played really well, took away AO's space and limited his chances. When he did get his chances they closed in on him fast. The Caps can win without Ovechkin in the line-up, but if he's in there they'll be looking for him. Maybe time to switch up the tactics?

The Canucks game was real tight, and Quick played a hell of a game. I think the murmurs of his crumbling confidence may have been overblown a little bit. He had no chance on any of the goals. Sedins created some absolute magic on the second goal, and what a blast my Sammy on the winning goal.

Alberts though, might hear some disciplinary action for his hit on Richardson, which I don't think is entirely fair. I might be a little biased, but Richardson did the whole 'hit me in the numbers' thing and turned into the hit. Yes, Alberts should have let up, and yes he left his feet, but Richardson was right back out there after 5 or so minutes. I think the game misconduct was enough.

A brilliant assist by Crosby to win the game yesterday. He's keeping them alive in the series.

Was very impressed with Zetterberg against the Coyotes. He was just dominating and they stole a road win.

Also I didn't like that interference call at the end in the Avs/Sharks game that led to the power play. Avs need to really improve their offense (only 20 something shots? jeez!) if they don't want Anderson to get overwhelmed.
