I re-watched Hakusho and liked it even more this time than last time. I love the fights, the pace and the characters.
Doesn't it suck when you get done watching a good anime and you want to watch another one that's really similar and just as good but you can't find one.

Folks, this is the Digimon movie (english dub) with more characters and a slapped-on puppy love sub?plot. Don't believe me? Watch the first ten minutes of Digimon: the movie. I dare you! I swear the art work even looks the same. During the turning point in the climactic battle I was waiting for Natsuki's avatar to turn into Omnimon.
That said, it's still enjoyable enough to watch. The family is done well. There's almost no development for the "main characters". I use quotations because this is an ensemble piece, and about how the family comes together, so I gotta ask why they felt the need to add a "romance" to the mix that just comes off as blase. Nothing special. And I was hoping it would be. HUGE disappointment.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka
It's classified as 'magical girl' but holy crap it is nothing like the typical magical girl anime. I'm up to episode 6 now and it is simply blowing my mind with how dark, twisting, unexpected, keep-you-guessing-and-at-the-edge-of-your-seat the plot is.
Watch it! HIGHLY recommended.

I like this series, but I am aware enough to realize there's a lot here they lay the groundwork for that they just never take advantage of. It's a short series, with only 12 episodes, but I believe the light novel it's based off of is still being published. The animation is consistently good. I wish there was more. I liked it. I ran through a few different first episodes of animes two weekends ago to pick the next two series I would watch, and this one's first episode really caught my attention. This series could've been really good but it's short and is comprised of a couple of episodes that don't have much to do with it's main plot, which in a short series like this is very unfortunate. MOOOOORE!

I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I felt like there was something missing. My main concern was with the ending and the movie that they tagged along as an epilogue. I don't think I necessarily wanted a happy ending for everyone, but there really wasn't any closure from most of the characters. My favorite Homunculi of this series got owned because Al was having a huge logic error. Lust!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - 10/10
Watched this immediately after FMA and I was so blown away. The characters were amazing. Things were set up in advance and then played out beautifully. It was a gorgeous anime and the ending was acceptable. Enough said.
Greed FTW!

Eh... I'm not into Shōujo so my rating doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing. It was a whole love triangle thing and some corny things happened, blah blah blah... Momo was just so hot that this boy almost "commited suicide" for her. Lame kissy-kiss stuff. P: Meh... Boring.

The OP is awesome, the ED is cool, the story premise isn't so bad, the story itself is lame as crap. Seriously, with the title and OP itself I was expecting some action romance thing but loo and behold, there is nearly none. the season goes for... 12 episodes (technically 11, 12 is just too crappy to call one) and the romance are implied all over the episodes yet at the end just stops as friendship stage. The action? it barely last more than 5 minutes... COMBINED in the whole season. its just fail.

I'm not done with the series yet, I'm STILL in the Rukia rescue arc. It's taking a thousand years! This series suffers from the same thing X-men suffers from. Too many characters that I SHOULD care about but don't, because there really isn't a reason to. EDIT Let me qualify this by saying, extra characters. The folks I don't care about is the Soul Society. Why should I care about a bunch of jerk-faces who are going to kill one of their own, and attack new-comers on site without talking first? Sorry Tite, don't care about them. I like team Ichigo and family. But honestly I'm finding myself fast-forwarding through a lot of the episodes now because nothing really happens. If these are the episodes I feel glad I've not read the manga. There doesn't seem to be any fillers yet and this thing is already dragging along. I'll tough it out more, because it has to be popular for some reason, I just haven't figured out why yet.

After that arc.... it's FILLER time! Then I think every other arc is going to be filler like Shippuden.
Also, if you're already getting annoyed with just the Shinigami characters, there's going to be a crapload of moar characters later on...
Anyway.
Summer Wars - 9/10
Animation is great. Very Colorful.
And who doesn't want an anime movie that's about the interwebz!?

I loved EVERYTHING in the anime, from the epic action-scenes to the emotional scenes. This anime made me cry many times, especially at the end. I could feel what the characters felt; I could feel their pain, and that's what made me cry more. The only thing I disliked was that Canaan and Maria didn't meet at the end(They should've hugged eachother, I am sure Canaan feels some love for Maria, and vice versa too

Also, I DEMAND a sequel; I wanna know more about Maria's past with the Ua Virus and what happens to their lives after these events.

I got past the Bount arc and called it quits. Good luck to you Tite, but man, it's not my cup of tea at all.
