ATL - 9/10

A great movie. T.I. did a great job in this movie.

Transformers - 9.5/10

I thought this movie was gonna suck, but it didn't. I laughed and was amazed of the CG graphics wow.png I even couldn't sit back down from my seat! The only thing I dislike is that Shia took up the entire movie appearance more than the Transformers themselves.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who liked the Live Action Transformers Derry. happy.gif Now ladies and gentleman allow me to show you the difference between a former SNL star who's still got a career and one who's career is in the crapper.

Don't Mess With The Zohan (2008)-7/10
One of Sandler's better comedies as of late.

The Love Guru (2008)-0/10
Despite the quirky antics of Mike Myers this movie is an unfunny mess of stereotypes, gross-out humor and goes on for FAR too long.

CRUDE! This is exactly how the film critics have matched them up this last week. I was hoping Mike would do better, but actually I didn't like the last Austin Powers, and Mike's jokes started feeling stale... and after 'I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry" I'm afraid to see Zohan too....

I haven't had time for movies in a long time, but finally, I managed to get out!

Iron Man-6.5/10
Ugh. This has to be the most over-hyped super hero movie of all time. My main problem with this movie: Too much Tony Stark and not enough Iron Man. Don't get me wrong, RDJr was great, but the writers seemed to have forgotten that this was a SUPERHERO movie first and foremost. I knew that we had to go through two prototypes, but the time between them and getting to the Mark 3 could have easily been cut down by 30 minutes. The mark 1 was awesome, Tony didn't do s**t in the Mark 2, and we only see the Mark 3 that we all know only twice, and the second time it was low on gas (under other circumstances, that would have been the right way to go). And the battle between Iron Man and Iron Monger was boring. On a positive note, I did like the way the movie rose questions about making weapons and what companies do with them.

The Incredible Hulk-8/10
THIS is how it's done! The CG is much better than the first commercials implied, and this Hulk is bad-ass! Edward Norton plays a much better Bruce Banner than Eric Bana did. I also enjoyed how the film managed to be suspenseful even without the big green giant on the screen. And THAT final battle was enjoyable and emotional as well. Also, when I heard that Hulk would talk, I was very iffy, but "Hulk Smash!" never sounded cooler. If there are any flaws, I'd say that Lib Tyler and the guy who played Thunderbolt Ross didn't seem too committed to their roles, and I think they should have had a flashback of the origin where Ed Norton actually narrates it. You know, quick, but gives everyone a clear picture of what happened.

Get Smart-9/10
I frikin' LOVED this movie! The beginning was a bit slow, but soon I was laughing my ass off! I just loved how it parodied the concept of super spies, and Smart's mistakes were outrageous yet not terribly hard to believe. The dialouge was fantastic, and it also did it's job as an action-movie quite well too. Surprisingly, it made me a bit sad to, because I realized that this movie was based on a TV show my dad used to watch on Nick at Nite.

Horton Hears a Who. 8/10. Funny, entertaining, great voice overs. A really good movie to watch on a 5 hours flight.

I'm Not There (2007)-9/10
A great movie about a rock n roll legend as portrayed in this film by several different actors, the one that stands out the most (and earned her a Supporting Actress nomination) being Cate Blanchette.

Lord of the rings trilogy 8.5/10

Never went around finshing the books ( was at chp two of the two towers and then went to snoozefeast) but I can honstly says about the movies that for me it's a couple of great moments that in between you have alot of... walking...

But yey this movie is great, Sam's spheech at the end of the towers and the Charge of the Rohirrims were one my most fav moments in movie history.

Why Did I Get Married? - 9/10

This is another great movie by Tyler Perry. Recommended for those who are or about to get married. It gives lessons and understanding why marriage is important to loving couples.

King Kong (1933)-10/10
A classic still to this day, though kind of hard to look at these days considering how far special effects have come.

King Kong (1976)-3/10
Dreadful remake starring Jeff Bridges and Linda Hamilton.

King Kong (2005)-10/10
Possibly the best remake in film history, the casting is great, the visual effects are stunning and the action scenes are exciting. Not just all of that but unlike the original they don't make Kong like the size of the freaking city. My only real knock against the film is the 3 hour running time.

Definitely, Maybe - 9/10

i gave it a 9 cause it was about to get the WORST KRISK RATING IN THE HISTORY OF KRISK..'S RATINGS BAWWWW. rawr.gif

but i was surprised and then relieved and then content, cause he ended up with the one i wanted him too. (:
all in all, it was cute and adorable (especially when the little girl was asking random questions) XD the twists are just so real and out of nowhere, which definitely maybe :teehee: hooked me. biggrin.gif

APPROVED.

A TIME TO KILL 7/10 I remember thinking this movie was great long ago. Wow, such inefficient writing. Repeated points in court. Awkward scenes. Strange scene placements. Weird dialogue. But good acting, and great end monologue for Matthew McConaughey. Sam is solid as usual.

^ GAHHH i'm conflicted now. DXXX "Wanted" or "Get Smart?" BOOO.

Forbidden Kingdom - 6/10

JUST saw it yeah stfu. XD
the fighting was expectant from growing old kung-fu masters, so i was content with that.

it was just the SCRIPT OHGAWD. D: and the fact that i didn't much like the main guy... ): i dunno, something about how his "cup was filled" for the majority of the movie got to me. 111193.gif and then how the ending was all, "WHOO I CAN KEEK YO ASH COME HEER YOO BULLIES!" and then he stood with that good guy prevailing cliche that totally made me gag - .. uh pose. DX and then i KNEW after that miss sparrow would make another appearance.. XDD

bleechhh....

but hey! i liked the storyline and the fighting so i'm somewhat okay with this movie. wow.png

Cube 4/10

The storyline is non-existant, just a bunch of people with retarded brains that takes 1/2 of the 2.5 hours movie to figure out that they are in a giant rubic cube. the only good thing are the traps.

Kung-Fu Hustle 8/10

Funny as hell, nuff said it would get 10 if not for the rip offs from other movies like the Matrix.

American Pie: Presents beta house KLAXXON 9/10

now THIS is how a Post-teenager movie should be done XDD

Bee Movie 8/10 - The funniest stuuf I saw after coming back to the US. Jerry Seinfeld was really funny. The part with Bee Larry King was one of the funnier moment in the movie.

I just don't like the over simplification in the ending. And the explenation of pollination process too. I mwan, cmon' pollons cannot revive dead flowers.
