Nice drabble, Compy-kun~

I enjoyed it. Seriously though, no one is saying that your fluff is bad so what are you gong on about? And yesh... we're all reading the same drabble.
Last night I thought I wouldn't have time to do anything else besides getting ready for my High School Audition. Turns out when my hand started to scream bloody murder... I took a reaaalllyyy long break and dragged myself over to my computer. Jeez, I AM getting too lazy~ This one is longer than usual, but I outstretched it mainly because I was bored last night~ XD
Cleaning Bets and Portraits.
How she hated when her shishou was right...
In her younger years, Sakura would never think of believing the blonde hokage about betting against Naruto. The rosette would most likely shrug the thought away of losing against the boy in anything at that. Dear Kami... how she was so very wrong about that.
What started out as an early morning spar between two teammates changed into a bet between two friends. Sakura was taken back at what she witnessed early that morning when her mission to wake up Naruto began. Of course she would have to venture her way through his jungle of a bedroom... but she didn't expect it to be like this. Dodging dirty clothes, avoiding week-old ramen cups, and trying her best NOT to stumble upon any scattered kunai.
The bet was a simple one. If Sakura lost their spar, she would have to clean up his apartment with him. But if Naruto lost, he would have to clean up without any help from Sakura the next day. It was to be an easy win and that's exactly what they both thought... Sakura especially. She knew that Naruto could easily beat her with his Kage Bushins, but even she had some tricks under her sleeves.
Victory though... went to the knucklehead...
And this is why she now stands among discarded clothing. Not surprising, Naruto disappeared from the bedroom mumbling about getting the two something to eat. Bah, as if... he actually walked out when their cleaning got somewhere. It wasn't that the hours of work was getting her tired, but Naruto had yet to return... and his house was utterly quiet.
Oh yes, he had deserted her.
What was the point to keep continuing? Just to find personal stuff in which belonged to Naruto? Sakura wasn't the type to go looking through people's belongings, it's been tempting for years... but never would she think of reopening old secrets which her good friends stored away from others. She needed to choose, just walk out of the mess or reintroduce herself to the broom and dustpan...
Ugh, cleaning it is.
Dust... so much dust danced around her legs as the broom's teeth skated across the floor. If she could say so herself, the bedroom was looking very decent. All she needed to do was escort the now small pile of clothes into the washing machine and the ramen cups into the wastebasket. Though as most people know, every good thing which comes their way... a problem would try to outshine. And this "little" problem would leave even Kakashi shivering in fear.
Under his bed. Sakura and that broom companion of hers would have to venture under Uzumaki Naruto's own bed. Who knew exactly what goes underneath that thing... If she could remember, most things that roll under there, never return... But, it was time to be brave. She wasn't Tsunade's apprentice for nothing and no single bed could scare her!
Gah. Disgusting. If she wasn't blinded at that moment, Sakura was certain she would leave to find that Naruto and show exactly how she feels about all of this. The place hasn't been clean for ages as many could tell but come on, this much dust could get a single person sick. It was burning her eyes, anymore of this stuff and Sakura was sure she would gag... she needed to get from under here and put herself back together. Naruto had deserted her and needed a FIRM talking to... Oh yes, he would pay.
Sakura was free... well, if you called it free. Only problem was that she brought a worn out box with her. Fingers brushed across the handwriting which seemed to be written with chickenscratch. She couldn't read it one bit and only pointed out one word stating "Naru". Dare she open it? Anything could pop out and scare the living daylights out of her. Meh, she'd take the chance... knowing Naruto, it was probably his old pranks.
She was brave... She was brave... She was--- Hell no, she wasn't brave. Naruto was a tricky one back then but seesh, even now his childish pranks were still well known. Just. Open. It.
This time though, not a single speck of dust blew her way when the box opened. What could be in the damned thing she asked. What? Her heart was seriously throbbing against her chest, why did she feel like a part of a Bomb Squad right now..?
...Papers... Emerald eyes scanned through the box discovering pictures. Not photographs but hand-drawn pictures. Did Naruto draw these? She didn't know, but if he did... his "artistic ability" was horrible. If Sai saw this, God help him. A stack of papers positioned themselves in her hands, flipping through them it seemed the style changed. The main figure on each piece of paper would recieve more texture, more emotion and much more color. Especially the last page... if that girl did not look like Sakura herself, the combat medic didn't know who it was.
"Maybe then..." Making one last check, she scanned the rest of the pages once again. All thoughts of cleaning were disregarded as the papers scattered across the room. Her fingers had slipped, due to the realization which overcame her.
...Sakura was the star of every picture...
Had Naruto drawn all of these during his spare time...? Did he want to prove something...? To others? To himself or just her...? Her figure fell flat to the floor, it was just too much. Sakura had no idea if she should cry, smile or even both. It felt as if a dizzy spell overcame her.
"SAKURA-CHYAAN~!"
She was greeted with a huge bowl of ramen which now positioned itself by her knees. Naruto was smiling towards her with a flushed face. He was running, wasn't he? So he had left to go get food for the two of them. A smile overcame her as he placed the chopsticks in her hand... but soon...
Sakura had whacked him in the head knocking the poor boy to the ground.
"Where the hell were you?! Leaving me to clean this disaster area! Do you even want to know exactly what I had to do?! ARGH! I should've listened to Shishou when she said NOT to bet against you!" Furiated. Her feet pounded against the floor. Her arms flailed in the air. Her heel had scratched against the box and the rant had ended. Sakura had remembered... the latest picture had now fallen between the two.
"S-Sakura-chan?!" she jumped at his startled tone. He had snatched the picture away from her and his face completely flushed. Did he not want her to see? Well, it was too late for that. "So~ You drew these, huh Naruto? Well all I've got to say that you've probably outshined Sai~!". Crawling from his frightening state, the thorn stuck in his throat disappeared when he gulped one last time.
"You really think so...?" Aw, she had to say that he looked cute when he was nervous.
"Think so? If you keep practicing... Hell, who knows what you could draw!" Picking up the bowl of ramen before it became cold, Sakura snapped her chopsticks and began to eat. "...So, does that mean I can draw you some more, Sakura-chan?". His thoughts on food had disappeared shortly after, similar to the cleaning thoughts which belonged to Sakura. Before she knew it, he was running back over to her with a sketchpad and pencil.
"Sure. You can draw me. You can even say that I'll be your model" with a noodle now hanging from the tugs of her lip, Sakura suddenly noticed that Naruto was already drawing away. Sakura gawked at said boy before lashing out on him with a right hook sending him across the room.
"BAKA!! Not when I'm eating!!! I'll look like a freakin' FOOL!"
