I'm 50/50 on this issue. It depends on how the plot develops.

- If after they save Sasuke and all that's left are the most powerful Akatsuki members, a confession is most probable before a kiss. Naruto doesn't want to get Sakura hurt because of him (remember her arm injury). I vote for Naruto's confession first.

- A kiss before the confession... I find hard for Naruto to actually make the first move. The mouth to mouth resucitation doesn't count and when he transformed into Sasuke, it was Sakura's move, I believe. If it's a kiss, It will probably com from Sakura and it will catch Naruto by surprise, that is, after some events.

Well amybe the kiss will be accidental where they both will be embarass then during a tragic event they'll confess their love for one another.

That's nice that you're gonna bet on when the kiss or confession might happen, but I think you're going to have to make a separate thread for that since it goes off topic.

On the otherhand it's been interesting to see all the different reactions people will have, though most involve smiling.

Naruto will confess first... I'm still betting on this. However, he won't do anything after the confession

For all we know Sakura may like him and will hide her feelings in whatever way possible (though Kakashi, Sai, & Yamato will figure it out) also Naruto's slow so it's obviously he wont catch on unless someone gives him a clue. Hell he's still clueless about Hinata for heaven's sake!

Yeah, it doesn't make sense for Naruto to confess. The boy's been stating loudly with a bullhorn and fireworks that he digs Sakura. It's only Sakura that's shown no interest in Naruto, thus far. And all intent and purposes he's basically said he's in love with her. If not in those words, but his deeds for her. But anyway, the only way for the pairing to get off the ground would be for Sakura to make the first move.

Also in regards to the betting, of the kiss or confession. I don't see it happening in the next few chapters. Nothing real tramatic has happened that would trigger such a response from either of them. Now, unless we have a date chapter and something comes from that. But even then, I've seen anime/manga series where couples have gone through Issues without having their first kiss. KareKano comes to mind.

I see Kishimoto pulling off a Inuyasha movie two and having Naruto go on a rampage and losing his mind and the only way for Sakura to get him back to his senses is kiss him. So I'm betting on a kiss first.

$20 on confession. Why? Cause knowing Naruto he's bound to blurt it out sooner or later. But then again he may act on impulse and give her a quick peck on the cheeks/lips and knowing Sakura her first reaction will be a right hook to Naruot's jaw. But I still go with a confession.

I think for sure Naruto will blurt it out first. He's done it so often before, it's just a matter of time before he says it in the time skip. I mean he did ask her for a date so its obvious he still has feelings for her.

I think at first she'll reject him. Then I think something serious will happen which will make her realize her feelings.

If they do kiss I think it will be either an accident or a spur of the moment thing. Like Sakura thinks Naruto is on deathbed and she kisses him. I dunno...wishful thinking <3

The more I think about it the more i think the feelings will show threw with a emotional hug..... though this doesn't make it as apparent as a kiss of a confession I think it's the the most likey prospect.

It's because they havn't yet. It's either Naruto saving Sakura or Sakura crying because Naruto can't even control himself from the kyuubi.

I think if Naruto is to confess then it might come a complete shock to Sakura and there might be a cliffhanger there until another chapter. at first I don't think Sakura will know how to react but then finally after hurs of contemplation finally figure out her true feelings.

Yep, I've been saying that ever since I started N/S shipping. The ball is in Sakura's court really. Honestly I'd have to say a kiss, then maybe an confession a while down the road.

Anywho, I have always imagined it as spur of the moment. I happen to think that Sakura will push herself too hard and disregard Naruto's warnings to leave it to him. Then, being terribly distraught, he will kiss her in the rain. XD

Just my thought.
