Expanding on my love and ramen comparison in Naruto. Will probably be slightly off topic but I think we've covered almost every point in the debate somewhere in the thread already.
"I hope it's NaruSaku because I believe in "love" in Naruto should be like homemade ramen, not three minute instant. NaruSaku is the best slowly and longly developing one of the three."
Instant Ramen:
Convenient - In ramen terms, there are no messy leftovers. Just toss the styrofoam cup and wash the spoon and chopsticks. No mess to clean up in the kitchen. Naruto and Sakura leaves us leftovers in Hinata and Sasuke.
Simple - You boil water and pour it in and wait three minutes. Or, even easier, place it in the microwave for that amount of time. Hinata confession and Sasuke's return are enough to get the ball rolling. Naruto and Sakura have this giant shadow of Sasuke looming overhead; Naruto and Sakura is a complicated pairing.
No Variety - Instant miso ramen will always taste the same unless the factory really kittens up. Homemade will be different from time to time. Variety is the spice of life my friends. The love confession hasn't been directly refuted yet. However, Naruto and Sakura and their relationship has changed, it was Naruto she used to hate. So it is possible for Sakura's "love" for Sasuke has changed. That change is the most debatable in this debate. (Before Team 7, her hate of Naruto came through the same route her like of Sasuke came; things like word of mouth and her own observations).
Unhealthy - Yes, my friends, instant anything is usually unhealthy. All that sodium and preservatives (Have you ever read the nutrition label for Cup O' Noodle; 52% of your daily serving of sodium). Sasuke/Sakura and Naruto/Hinata require quick development. Fast moving relationships are usually unhealthy and make your fans sick too (Harry Potter?).
Homemade Ramen
Trial and Error - When you first start off, you don't know what you're doing. You're going to mess up a lot. Look how long Naruto and Sakura have been together but we're still waiting like with NaruHina and SasuSaku. If love were simple, simple confessions would do it.
Complicated - I'm not going to lie. It's complicated to make it. You have to at least make your own soup base. You have to break out pots and bowls that you have to wash later. And thats after you can at least learn how to make an edible product. Even when we think Naruto and Sakura are getting closer; a lot of the interaction is the same. Sakura smashy smashy Naruto, except it's mostly verbal now.
Satisfaction - Why does a homemade meal just taste better? It takes time and effort to go through the trouble of making a homemade meal . The time and effort is worth it because of what homemade ramen leads to. Homemade has the possibility to taste even better than instant because through your efforts and failures, you've succeeded. And it's possible it literally tastes better, you did it your way with less restrictions, so it can taste better. If you're making homemade ramen with someone, you spend good and bad times with that person, and when you both succeed, it's even sweeter at the end. Naruto and Sakura have spent a long time making "ramen" together and although it has been an experiment through with trouble, it's going to be worth it in the end. The steady hints and aromas throughout will be more enticing when they share the meal together.
you know you didn't do the right thing here.
I was happily preparing instant ramen but after reading you post I had to make homemade
I just couldn't help it

but nicely said. the analogy was perfect
