One of many hundred SS fans that invade the NS tag in tumblr said the ending was cute and he/she cried in tears of joy, also thanking kishi for the best ending this year   :bash: :bash: :zaru: :zaru: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hehe , that sly Karin ... she says to others she wants Sasuke happy , but I am sure she can't wait for him to leave his family again and go back to stalking him

Of course not, we can't have the main character of the series that doesn't even bear his name looking bad.

At least we have this site and fan fiction.

I've been finding it harder and harder to start reading new fanfics about NS. I've got a few ones that I've been reading for a while, so I'll finish those, but I don't actually think I'll be able to get back into NS fanfics when those fics finish.

I don't think there's anything else that needs to be said, Tricks, since you nailed it. And seeing Ino try to flirt with Sasuke shows that NO ONE IS REALLY HAPPY IN THE ENDING AND THAT THIS ENDING NEEDS TO BURN.

Eh? She just said "Sasuke-kun! Long time no see!" since she didn't see him in years, how can be that considered flirting?  I will not tolerate kittening on Ino without a good reason lol.

Btw I just noticed how it seems that Ino and Chouji were together on a mission, meaning she's still somewhat active as a kunoichi, even after having a baby.

Also the Mangastream version is out. It's mostly the same, save for the talk about the Shins being in Konoha AND the part when Karin explains how Salad was born. Here it is:

image.png

So it's not that Sakura "chased" Sasuke, apparently all three of them - Sauce, Sakura and Karin - were together on a mission when the time has come. Make no mistake, this is still kittened up, because why the heck anybody would allow a nine-months-pregnant woman to go on a mission is beyond me... And even if somebody would allow it, why the heck would said woman agree instead of thinking this is too dangerous for her baby... Eeeh, this series really ruined Sakura. But at least she didn't go out of the village purely to look for Sasuke, he was there with her on a mission.

Plus I really love how Karin uses the "-chan" when talking about Salad.

So Sasuke left his family for 12 years because of the threat (which turned out to be silly clones)? So why the hell would he leave again?

Even Kishi surpassed his own stupidity!

I have a question for you guys and girls.

Let's say that Gaiden was still about drama but it contained really good drama. And it was really well written, top notch quality. Let's say a proper love triangle between Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke. Or between Naruto, Sakura and Hinata. Or hell even between Sasuke, Sakura and Karin. It doesn't really matter, any sort of drama it can be about anything. But just really good drama. Would've you prefer it or what I'm about to suggest next.

If this continuation was about seeing Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Lee, Hinata, Shikamaru dealing with the horrors of the war.

If we would've seen how Naruto with his never giving up attitude and keeping his friends close dealing with the deaths of all that died in that war. If we would've seen Naruto still trying to find a way to finally bring peace in the world; seeing him meet with the rest of the Kages and having a proper chat.

If we would've seen Sasuke searching in the old Uchiha part of the village for some clues about how to stop the reincarnation of Ashura and Indra, so that the future generations won't face what they and the previous generations had to.

If we see Lee and Hinata dealing with the loss of Neji. Seeing Shikamaru taking care of Asuma's king. And on and on.

So what would've preferred? Really good drama that's well written or what I suggested?

But what you suggested could be considered as good drama too.  :P But I guess you mean a good drama (+some action) about living in a world after war vs a good drama about family problems, right? I'm going with the post-war drama, of course. It would wrap up the main story, after all.

Wish that Kishi would just stop trying to 'fix' Naruto, I guess that no one ever told him the phrase 'digging your own grave'. I will remember fondly the characters that made me love Naruto that were sacrificed at the all-mighty altar that is money (and crazy fan boys/girls).

Yeah, I would go with this one, the post-war drama, showing how all the characters dealt with the aftermath of the war. So many of the 'older' characters talked about war and how it needed to be avoided at all costs (Tsunade, Jiraiya, Hiruzen, Kakashi, etc.) and we saw how it affected those characters, but it seems like Naruto's generation got through the war pretty much unscathed (excluding Neji who was sacrificed at the NH altar) . I would have loved to have seen the immediate aftermath of the war, Kakashi taking over as Hokage, Naruto rising through the ranks, glimpses of Sasuke's "atonement" mission. But we got this...

I think Sakura is like the virgin Mary... Got pregnant without anything.

Sasuke is just a sperm donor.

I feel bad for Karin.

She was like the only woman that actually fell in love for something other than the alpha male reason and was like the only girl who had  chemistry with him.

I just remembered something - why was Salad blocking Ino from getting to her parents? Was it meant as a "she doesn't want any woman other than Sakura around her dad" joke or what? I seriously do not get it.

Wait,

When did that meeting takes place? It was never clear and left plot hole due to 1) Naruto is supposed to be Hokage before family according to Gaiden even though the movie made it out to be later time, 2) why Sasuke didn't just meet Sarada if he can do it easily which would contradict Naruto being Hokage, 3) why Naruto didn't know about it if he keeps in touch with everyone now that he's the Hokage, and 4) why Sasuke couldn't tell his own daughter at all?

But damn, there's more plot holes that I won't even get in...

I know you're trying to make sense of this garbage as am I. But trust me you'll find no logic or sense in anything.

You have to view everything that happened after 698 as independent even the chapters in Gaiden.

The movie is independent of the manga, the novels are independent of the manga and each other and the movie, and Gaiden is independent of the Naruto manga and of the movie and of the novels and each chapter in Gaiden is independent of each other.

And the upcoming Boruto movie is independent of the Naruto manga, of The Last, of the novels and of the chapters in Gaiden.

That is the only way to view them. Because if you try to connect them to each other, it just falls apart.

As soon as you try to put them together it just goes boom.

This is even more stupid ...

- So Sakura went after Sasuke after he left the village. Like a little fangirl she is.

- He got her pregnant while on the journey somehow

- Sakura refuses to leave Sasukes side while on a deadly mission because she does not want to leave her half-god-Sasgay, bringing her life and the life of her unborn child in great danger

- Sakura gave birth to Sarada somewhere behind a bush, Karin helped her and kept the umbilical chord for whatever reason....

- So when the hell did they get married? Was the marriage also behind a bush? Juugoo as the priest and Karin as Sakuras first maid or what? Lmao.

- On top of that - Naruto knew nothing about this because he was busy building skyscrapers in a village that dosen't need them. LOL.

Now I understand why they didn't tell Sarada the truth ... they were obviously ashamed of their own stupidity  :twitch:

I knew nothing good would come out of this trash, horrible series, horrible finale

0/10 kill it with fire

This is even more stupid ...

- So Sakura went after Sasuke after he left the village. Like a little fangirl she is.

- He got her pregnant while on the journey somehow

- Sakura refuses to leave Sasukes side while on a deadly mission because she does not want to leave her half-god-Sasgay, bringing her life and the life of her unborn child in great danger

Now I understand why they didn't tell Sarada the truth ... they were obviously ashamed of their own stupidity  :twitch:

Well if we follow hiden timeline then Sakura never really left the village to follow Sasuke, she was waiting for him like the desperate person she is

I think what happened was

- Sasuke came back to the village, "hit and quit" Sakura, left again

-Sakura went after him after realising she was pregnant, spent nine months searching him to no success, she meets Karin they travel together and she has Salad in the wild ( thus no register in Konoha and Naruto didn't meet her pregnant)

This brings the matter that Naruto spent quite likely a lot of months without seeing one of his past best friends...it's just a testament to how badly team 7 drifted off each other

- with Salad in her toes Sakura came back, and resigned herself to wait for Sasuke

- somehow Sasuke knew of Salad's existence but never bothered to visit, but he let Sakura use his Uchiha things and "married" her

All of this...all of this...

paints all of team 7 in a really bad light

Sakura looks like a desperate obsessive woman, Naruto looks like a self absorved prick, and Sasuke looks like a bad husband and despicable person in general

In the end this will remain being speculation though since we will most likely never know the answer

When an author becomes biased towards a particular character and does everything he can to protect said character, this is what you get. Nothing else in the story actually matters so long as he can make his favorite character come off looking good in his own eyes. That is what has happened to kishi.
