Actually, as far as we can tell, it's not even "Senju" DNA in general, but "Hashirama's" DNA specifically.

Well yeah, but there were no other Senju mentioned aside from her and her brother. Kishi should have least addressed that

Yeah, Bryon and I simply assume that Madara, while still alive anyway, probably played things behind the scenes to whittle them down  I mean, it's not even said how Hashirama himself "died in battle", just that he did.

Anyway, do the clan of ninja only produce one child from clan head only?
I mean, I never see Hinata cousin beside neji.
Kiba, shino, ino, shikamaru, and chouji cousins.
It seem only clan head that allow to have family and children.

The same goes with uchiha.

Wait a minute, hyuga is doomed. No byakugan children anymore.
