I'm interested in Yato's voice b/c I loved his voice in Japanese.

 

Lol well.. actually there is a trailer of the english dub, haven't heard it yet since I'm in class at the moment, but here it is if you wanna check it out:

Yato's  voice actor did Levi and Shinji from Fate/ Stay Night (dat guy with the ugly blue curly hair), and Kazuma's voice actor did Lelouch from Code Geass, Toneri from the Last (why?!), and King from Nanatsu no Taizai... Me and voice actors XD

But Yato's voice actor is incredibly famous in Japan.

I don't watch DBZ... It's been years since I've seen an episode. But I did see Dragonball GT when I was in sixth grade or so.

I like Funimation but I get tired of them...let other studios take a chance, they're good but sometimes they aren't great who is good for who and I LOVE dub (waited for Slayers, Inuyash Final Act and Sword Art Online 2, which pisses me off but watching with a friend, dub)

Miraii Nikki (Future Diary) was a good example of that cause ugh.. I can't stand the dub of that show and funimation was behind it.

I like Funimation but I get tired of them...let other studios take a chance, they're good but sometimes they aren't great who is good for who and I LOVE dub (waited for Slayers, Inuyash Final Act and Sword Art Online 2, which pisses me off but watching with a friend, dub)

I've seldomly enjoyed dubbed tbh. I suppose I'm too picky. The only ones I've truly come to appreciate are the one for Cowboy Bebop and Hetalia (all these acceents, lol). Those two are freaking perfect XD
But when you don't like dub that much, you're called a weibo (I hate reading these kinds of comments on youtube).

Nahh, its fine! I understand but Funimation has been going dowhill with dubs and they take every anime and leaving zero for every other studio, only good thing is that they bring back old VA if they get an old anime like Black Lagoon, Hellsing (though I didn't like that they put some echo thing on the vampires) and Slayers even though they couldn't bring some back...

I don't think Yato's voice fits him well, its a good VA but not for Yato

I didn't see it but AOT, I hated the dub except Armin's voice and I HATE that they dub Fate Kaleid all horrible...I also hate the fact that they changed Frieza's voice just to sound similar to the JP which I think is dumb because they could have done that to Goku but didn't, so why Frieza?

I heard Black Lagoon and Baccano (both from 2007) have awesome dubs.

I never watched Baccano lol Black Lagoon is amazing! I adore it enough to watch it again when it showed in Toonami xD I don't like One Piece dub of Funimation, I legit love the 4Kids dub I may be one of the few that does along with the Sailor Moon Dub

okay when it comes to Yato's voice I guess it'll take to getting use to do.  I remember I was having a similar situation going on with Eren's voice from AoT but I got use to it after watching the first episode.  Hiyori's voice actually matches how I'd imagine it, same thing can be said for Bishamon,  and Yukine. Kufaku is probably another voice i'll have to hear more often to get use to. The other voices in the trailer weren't that bad per say, but overall I will check it out just to see how it is. Either this could be good like AoT or a disaster like Future Diary.

I'll admit with AoT the dub does have it's problems, but I wouldn't really say it's unbearable or Amazing. It's just good. I can sit down and watch it without having a problem and yes you guys can call me out on his but I think the dub for AoT is as good as the japanese dubs. That's just my opinion, and Ryo I get where you're coming from. I can see what you mean when it comes the AOT dub.  Lol I wasn't pleaed with the Fate Kaleid with it either though I don't know if I'd consider it to be equal to Miraii Nikki (Future Diary) dub. When it came to Frieza's dub voice it's got some problems, but I won't say that the voice sucks all together. That's just my take on it though.

Which Frieza? I like the original dub Frieza, not the one from DBZ Kai
