Wow looks I was stuck in the cryotube for a short amount of time, but here are my thoughts on the chapter: 

 

 

 

 

Side Note: Forgot to mention that the Kurama and Naruto bits were also hilarious in the chapter too. Now we just got to wait for The Road to NaruSaku! to finally take place.

I must say this was a awesome chapter it was a good thing that Naruto had some last words with Minato before him and the Kages vanished, also to add Madara maybe down but that doesn't he's out as for us NS fans I get the feeling that we're getting closer to winning but Naruto still has to talk to Sakura about some stuff who knows if he will confess or not? As for Naruto and Sasuke's final battle with each I'm not so sure if that will happen or not since we don't know what Sasuke's true goal is.

 

Naruto also stated that is not doing good with his studies, it adds to the gf part too.

What do you mean by that?

So much NS foreshadowing...and yeah, their's been a bunch of KakaSaku moments lately for some reason.

Only because Sakura is trying to heal Kakashi even he almost fainted

 

Kurama is a tsundere. I wouldn't be surprised if he(she?) blushes and calls Naruto an idiot next chapter.

But I thought Naruto didn't have the other half of Kurama in him?

Now NH Fans will take it all back and say Hinata is nothing like Kushina. Doublestandarts incoming!

Well even so NH/SS fans will be mad to see that their ship might not happen who knows?

This chapter was awesome. I get so many feels just reading it. Can't wait till next week, oh and NaruSaku is even more closer to canon then before.

OMG KakaSaku is now Cannon!!! Just look at that last Panel!!!! lol

 

This felt very much like a closing shop chapter, I'm still shocked we didn't get Madara's flashback, out of all the Flashbacks this one felt like it was the most important, it would link up allot of the mysteries of the past, like how he got the Body of the Ten Tails? what he did for the years before he met Obito? How is he related to the former Mizukages? And how he managed to find Negato and give him his eyes? Also personally wat to know if he had something to do with the Uzumaki clans demise. It almost feels like Kishi had major plans for Madara but in the end got tired of the war arc and just wanted it over with...Heck we still don't anything about the other brother. Was he just introduced so Kishi could mirror him with Sasuke? I don't know it just feels this was plan B, unless Sasuke is still going to turn on them it just feels like the biggest focal point of the manga didn't happen, and that is Naruto saving or defeating Sasuke. Sasuke change of heart had nothing to do with NAruto it was all Itachi and the first Hokages backstory.

 

I liked how Kishi hinted at NaruSaku near the end (though I bet Hinata fans are trying to relate it to her somehow.) 'But mum told me to look for a girl as great as she is...that's uh..Anyway, not everything is going the way Mum Told me, but i'm trying my best.' That has to be hinting at Naruto's feeings for Sakura, he's not exactly having any trouble with Hinata (except her being a pod person, Literally speaking.)

 

Anyone else laugh at Sakura's reaction to the sage? She's been hanging out with Naruto so much she's picked up his traits of casually speaking to everyone no matter how powerful and respected they are. I really liked Sakura this chapter.

 

All in all I really liked the chapter, just feel that the whole arc was a dissapointment, after Obito got defeated, we got trolled by Madara's sudden demise, and then Kaguya as just dissapointing, plus we never really understood her motvation behind this all, who was she? where did she come from? why did she eat the fruit? why was she trying to make the people into the white Zetsus? She had a purpose that was hinted to but we never got told what.

I've noted before, Kishi has been doing a lot of KakaSaku lately, throughout the war arc... When she's holding him up it looks like she's hugging him. How nice for the KS fandom.

Oh! And Sakura at the beginning of the chapter is priceless. I feel the same way that she does. I love her. She looked very pretty in that panel.

I guess I'm the only one who didn't feel any shred of emotion during their goodbye.

I'm a little disappointed to be honest. I totally expected for Minato to tell him happy birthday and that he's become great and all, so I'm happy about that but overall, the scene could have been better. Kushina's farewell was better... Definitely drawn better lmao. That huge ass panel of a smiling Naruto. The art hasn't been great lately so I expected that, but luckily the page where he tells him Happy Birthday was drawn better than most stuff he's done lately. The panel of Minato smiling and the panel right before that page, he looks so cute. Well done, Kishi.
Anyway. Itachi's final farewell was done better, but we know how much Kishi loves them Uchihas, esp Itachi. Why did Naruto have to repeat Kushina's words? He's already done that before.. I would've much rather preferred their goodbye be focused on the two of them alone. More shots of Minato instead of irrelevant people.

I liked that Minato got all choked up, poor baby. :( But I wish he would have at least shed a tear haha... If I had it my way Minato would have hugged Naruto. Maybe I got my expectations too high because I kept picturing how a hug between them would go. I'm still mad at Kishi for taking that away from us. How were Minato's arms not restored? Doesn't he need hands to perform seals? Geez.. But with Kishi's less than satisfactory resolutions he's been writing lately (Madara just "I went the wrong way.. damn...") I shouldn't be surprised. Hopefully it'll be better animated. And hopefully next chapter we'll have Naruto wistfully looking up at the sky. Actually I would want more than that, since the chapter after Kushina disappeared several pages were dedicated to him talking to her.
Maybe I'll like the scene better after a little while. I think I'm staring to, already.

He almost broke up when he was facing Naruto it touched me.
Naruto has done his best to not cry, he tried to be all smiley and happy. It's so like him, he's always like that, trying to be all tough. He saw his dad was about to cry, and he choose to be strong in front of him. But in the end, he ended up crying. Poor Naruto. I thought about RtN.

Ah, I liked that part. Naruto trying to be strong in front of his almost crying dad, but ending up crying anyway. :( I only wish it was longer. A bigger panel of Naruto crying, showing all of his face would have been perfect.

I did like that panel when Naruto first landed in front of Minato. His upset face and "Dad!!" urgh. I also liked how there was a smiling Minato in the panel where Naruto talked about girls. It was beautiful. (and he knows, Naruto (: ) As was the smile when his soul was ascending.

Naruto didn't want his mother to worry about him and what he's doing. That's why he said all of his friend are good ones, even if Sasuke is not really like that. =)

SS/NHs confidence always tends to skyrocket when they feel something's not going the right way. I guess it's some kind of ... instinct for self-preservation.

NH fans are trying to rewrite it in a different way saying that Naruto could be thinking about Hinata and Sakura thinking about Sasuke.

its not confidence at this point, its way beyond that which will make their defeat really disastrous, when the truth will explode in their faces. but much more sweeter for us though.
