I think most of us simply exepct the writer to respect the rules that he has himself established, all we ask for is consistency and coherence.

What rule did Kishi break specifically in this chapter?

 

1.Bringing back dead characters? He has done it so many times before.

2.Giving sudden power-ups? This is pretty much his storywriting 

3.Bringing in spirits from the other world? He brought Rin's spirit couple of chapters ago.

4.Letting Kakashi get back the Sharingan?  I' m pretty sure everyone expected Kakashi to get it back sooner or later. Sharingan for Kakashi is like how thai jutsu is for Gai. Expecting Kakashi to become a different kind of ninja now would be like expecting Gai to become an expert in genjutsu/ninjutsu.

 

Kishimoto has been consistently using asspulls since the very first chapters. That's how his story-writing has been. So he was being pretty coherent as usual this chapter.  He has done worse asspulls than this chapters. Why the surprise and outrage now?

Though this was a rare chapter, both an asspull but a neat asspull. I mean I love Kakashi and think this is neat but its still an asspull and well, it is funny to see sasuke just dumbfounded on the other stuff.

 

Loved Sakura cheering Naruto on though.

I'm pissed because now Sakura look useless compared to Kakashi now since he has a sharingan. Its not fair, I want Sakura to do something. I'm disappointed.

- kakashi cannot copy sasuke susanoo.
- ps come from obito. It has similarity with shamanking over soul.

 

Well Kishi might give us some explanations later.

I think copying is involved in a way.

I agree but I woudn't call it "asspull".

I think "asspull" is really pejorative and disrespectful for Kishi's work.

Well look on the bright side! Since this manga has gone rock bottom, it can only go up from here. It's impossible to have another chapter which will top the disappointment of this chapter.

Kakashi become useful because of obito.
Unfortunately this is not sakura fight. The thing she can do is stay alive or performing suicide attack.
We don't know if kakashi power permanent or temporary.

You know, I should be angry, but I am not. I guess it is because I already got to the "Kishi can do anything" type of logic long before. I just don't get a few things. Obito talks like Kakashi still has his sharingan, but he technically didn't. Madara stole it and gave it back to Obito. So I am not sure what he means.

Maybe if Kakashi still had the other Sharingan, then I would say "okay."

As for the asspull itself. Well, I feel people have a right to be mad  this time to be mad legitimately, but I guess if everyone else got an asspull....why not right? Obito asspull to give kakashi his power is at least consistent with all Uchiha having asspulls.

At least Sasuke is still useless despite how many time he called himself powerful.

The Good:

Pretty much was Broken Figurine mentioned. I liked what Kakashi did, though I agree having him try to find a way to be relevant without his signature eye would have been interesting.

The other is that if I had a manga this kind of low level trolling of pairing fandoms is the kind of stuff I would take great pleasure in doing over and over. It looks for a second SS might get something...then Kakashi swoops in and steals the moment. Heh.

The Bad:

Everything else. So rather than letting last weeks stink bomb fly by the way side, we're doubling down and overtly confirming he got what he wanted? So...we're all just going to pretend the person Obito was for most of his life just....doesn't exist anymore? What the hell? Ignoring this elephant in the room isn't resolving anything. He has no meaningful response for this so he ignores it. It wasted development (for Rin and Obito) and inexcusably poor writing. As others have said, he did all these horrible things in your name and this is what we get? Rin's not in Karin territory, but Kishimoto does such a disservice to multiple characters.

Obito's dead, but he has both Sharigan's despite getting them after the point in time he gets to be as a dead guy and and it's an evolved form it's original? So it now lets him leave the land of the dead and go back in time apparently. Not only that, but only Uchiha were supposed to get magenkyou which wa snecessary for Susanoo, so that's an outright violation of what was said before (even if that limitation made no sense). This is on top of the unexplained mess of Kakashi having Kamui in the first place. How he has the knowledge to use it is a mystery, especially since Obito never did. This eye was already so broken. So, naturally, he just went and made it worse.

I had three reactions to this: (1) I thought maybe should have PD hook me up to the Intoxilyzer 5000 and test my BAC because maybe I was just intoxicated and misread the incoherent mess I just saw.

(2) That maybe Kishimoto should do that instead. It's the only rational explanation for this.

(3) I was wrong when I thought death couldn't get cheaper than it already was.

The later half of the chapter makes no sense at all and openly violates his own internal rules. Is he even trying anymore?

Fair enough. I didn't mean to dis-respect his work. I actually admire his work- you just know that any author/mangaka that can get his readers to show strong reactions (be it positive or negative) has done a great job over-all with his story. I just couldn't think of any-other word

It was a good chapter, loved the ObiRin at the beginning, as well as Naruto fighting Kaguya, and the NS moments.

 

Kakashi looks epic with two Sharingans! I am a little confused about it, buy I will wait for an explanation, if one is given.

If Obito was so sure he could meet Rin in that world (as what he said last chapter), why didn't he commit suicide when Rin died? That would have solved everything.

I like that Kakashi has the two Sharigans. Since the boulder that crushed Obito and Kakashi have a special connection of chakras , the why not improve the Sharingan?

 

I don't see anything bad about Sakura being save, now she is way too drain to do something for the moment.

 

The thing i do not like is Kakashi becoming Hokage,  Naruto seems will not be the similar of Gaara anymore I cannot see the celebration with sake = to =. I just wondering when Naruto will stand up by himself, when will see that Naruto all powerful like all protagonist must be where is the Naruto that took down Neji or more less Pein ? I see it too difficult with the hokages in the way or even Tenten.
