That's because of such statement I'm not going to go back on this thread anymore. Sorry it's too much for me to read such a thing several times in one day, just because of 2 panels that have no meaning in romantic pairing department. You're all too invovlved in this pairing subplot, I'm sorry to say such thing, but it's how I feel, seeing this chapter as SS being canon is like having lost all kind of lucidity.

Why am I reminded of the Boy Who Cried Wolf?

I don't know anymore. Honestly, I am not even sure the drama I am feeling is from the chapter itself or just the fandom trying to hammer in something with such force that I feel sickened by it. I am guessing it's the the fandom. It's confusing how this chapter can be seen as such this high moment thing, but why we downplay so many NS scenes that have occured. Again, we know Sasuke holds no feelings for Sakura and there is no reason why those feelings would change now. That would be aweful writing right there.

I blame Kishi for the misleading panels, but I blame the fandom as well. We just overhype thing so much to the point of all of us just having heartattacks. I don't know. I kind of want to just let it go now. I am not just speaking of us, but the entire fandom as a whole. Why are we like this? I have never seen such heated arguments, overblown moments, and the like being this hard on us. I have been apart of pairing wars before Naruto and yet this seems the hardest to go through.

the point is that we are talking about a fandom who believing helding a woman from falling down makes the couple canon.... That's just....too much to have to do with.... If SS is canon because he held Sakura, then NS would have been canon a thousand of times since Naruto always held Sakura from falling down.... The glance....? It's the same glance that Naruto gives to Hinata after he hold her hand.... calm down, people.... now for SS "Sasuke and Sakura has bedroom eyes". That's say everything. LOL

SS isn't confirmed.... That's ridiculous!         

 

From chapter three or four of the manga, it has been destiny that Sakura would have to end her storyline with Sasuke. And that's what's happening now. There will be plenty of interaction between the two (and Kishimoto will probably do it as vaguely romantic as possible) but that doesn't mean anything has changed for Sakura or the prospect of NS. No ground has been lost. 

 

Sakura's resolution of her feelings for Sasuke is something that has been bound to happen since the beginning. (As will the resolution of Hinata's feelings for Naruto.) This is just the beginning of that pairing end game that will finally wind up in the last pages of the whole manga.

Naruto carrying Sakura bridal style while saving her from Sasuke>>>>Sasuke keeping Sakura from falling.

 

If Kishi didn't have Sasuke keep Sakura from falling then people would basically just laugh at Sakura for falling in the background despite all the effort she's done.

 

This is just closure for 676 for Sasuke thinking Sakura is useless.
