I can honestly say, that with that 667 hint/spoiler, I would love for the chapter to go that direction.

 

I would love for Naruto to get one last time with Jiraiya (although I think it wouldn't do any good for the manga and frankly, I'm just too tired atm to see how it would tie in).

 

Naruto & Jiraiya scene. Naruto wakes up, & we all get the long awaited Narusaku forehead scene with a big, wet and sloppy make out sessi- Confession.

 

but meeting the Rikudo Sennin is fine too. I just want my ns scene so that my heart can explode after Six Hundred and Sixty-six chapters. LOL

It is okay to expect a moment but dosen't it sound a bit absurd that protagonist has just cheated death, there is a war going on right now, they are faced with the most badass character of all times and what they do is confess their feelings for each other to their heart's content in the other dimension?

nobody expected the handheld scene, nor the girlfriend scene to happen either

but yeah i try not to think too much about the next ns scene too, to not get disappointed when nothing happens.

Well, correct me if I am wrong but didn't we had multiple examples around on how couples confessed their love in the midst of a fight/battle/war?! Not to mention, Sakura's confession was... let's say... at the war's door. Tobi has just declared war on them when Sakura confessed...

Yes, but even if har base chakra is empty, she'll have plenty of it stored in her seal, right? I assume she has to release that too before it disappears.

That is not the same. They are on the battlefield right now (kind of..) People are dying in this very second. I agree with narusaku256, we might get a little moment because they are human beings, but no titanic please.

Yes, but she closed it so quickly. :( Besides, if she used up all her seal chakra with Tsunade, she should've lost it back then and not now.

i guess having sakura instead of tsunade go is only to keep the story going. like how kakashi should have been seriously wounded from that sage enhanced rasengan..

The present situation according to my opinion is though we all are saying keep expectations to a minimal amount, but deep down including me we all want to see the big gun firing BUT having things sorted out right now will be like wrong things done at a wrong time. There's a perfect time and perfect place for such things right? Thats why I say a warm moment will do good. Besides if Sakura confesses n we get a huge moment, the opposite fandoms are sure to criticize and demoralise her. God knows what all things they'll put up! So its a better option to bring it more closer to canon than to make it canon. But, still I'll be more than happy to be proven wrong XD

i found this in baidu, [ ナルトが出会った、谜の老人正体とは...!? ] roughly translates into

"a fated meeting, who is the old man naruto sees...!?"

or

"naruto gets a chance encounter with an old man, who is his identity...!?"

i'm guessing it's probably sage of 6 path, now that naruto possess all the bijuus chakra, or just good old jiraiya   

not sure if magazine hints are true, but if it's legit haha i'm starting to feel bad for sasuke.

So a meeting with the Rikudou. I wonder how exactly the Rikudou will appear maybe he left some of his own chakra in the Bijuus like Minato and Kushina did. Since it will be the Rikudou maybe we are going to get some answers, not just Madara's own perspective.

I think that because of yin kurama, I think yin kurama has some sort of chakra recording left by sop.

 

Not only that but Naruto got chakra from all the Bijuu now, I think the reason Obito managed to get a small part of the One and Eight Tails is because like when they were inside Obito they still haven't full merged yet so they took the oppertunity to pass on the two Bijuu's who haven't given Naruto their chakra  on him and hope he will pass it ...that's why he was glowing at the end. The sage probably predicted that one day someone would come who would live up to his ideals and unite the world and the nine Bijuu would together recognise him as the saviour and willingly give him their chakra and when that happens the Sage will appear before him and grant him the powers to unite the nations....or something equally sounding ridiculous.

 

Actually now that I think about it, this would be pretty much identical to what Minato did when he left a part fo himself and Kushina inside Naruto's seal...so I wonder if there is more to the Uzmumaki clan that just being distantly related to the Senju or there is some history about Minato's heritage that is also linked to the Sage as well. it's strange that Minato and Jiraiya are the only two Kage Level Ninja who have not been given a family history of any kind, which in a manga that focuses on these strong clan ties is a big strange.

oh i just realised the translated line from baidu is the line under naruto, there's another line beside naruto in the 667 hint picture.. some kanji that says '死'(death)..and‘境界’(dimension/world)

can anybody read japanese?

 

*edit*on a second thought, never mind, it probably just say something obvious like uh, 'naruto is dead and in another dimension' because i spotted naruto's name'ナルト' at the end of the line, and the line is not very long anw

 I dont understand why people see it that way, the rasegan has no one keeping it spinning and  there is no force behind it so it wasnt a fully powered rasengan.

At least that way, him and Sakura knows the story of the downfall, more and less. Not to mention Obito could approve his view once more. Hm...

Oh boy another bed time story can't wait. Let's just hope this one is not as long as Hashirama's story and it gets straight to the point. I want answers but I don't want a novel. And lets hope Naruto doesn't do a 180 after the bed time story.

It would be nice if Sakura can be present to Rikudou's bed time story but I doubt it will happen. If the Rikudou left a bit of his chakra into the Bijjus so when the time is right he can appear and talk to the next "Rikudou" aka Naruto, then Sakura being present wouldn't make sense. Unless somehow Naruto brings her into the meeting or Sakura can just hear them without actually being present, like the moment between Obito and Naruto from 652-654.

Well of course it's absurd. Reading the manga for so long has made me realize that someone shouldn't expect too much from the romance side of the story. Kishi said himself (in an interview i read somewhere, I'll look for the link) that he isn't too big on romance.

 

But what's to stop a little wishful thinking?

 

I don't expect them to hash it all out right there, that would be nuts. I did't say anything about them totally forgetting about the war and Madara. which is why i crossed out the make out part. It was a joke. lol . I do expect the scene to be significant on some level though.
