The tools aren't without a purpose even if they are not use for Naruto's sake.

They could be used to stop Madara.

Yup, either that, or used both to help saving Naruto and defeat Madara.

You know, i love Sakuras new look. I may be in the minority but the messy look works so well. That panel with her, Minato and Naruto looked grand. Very nicely done Kishi.

This was a nice setup chapter for sure. I enjoyed it. We're gonna get more NsM moments and thats a definite plus. Id fanboy like mad if Sakura ends up playing some part in this battle after possibly getting some chakra back. Things are looking great otherwise. Keep it up Kishi!

I forgot that they were Edo Tensei, my bad. But is the Kyuubi's chakra still inside the pot and gourd or did it disappear when the Edo Tensei was released. But wait a second if it did disappear how did the Juubi came back, that's not possible. Or is still in the Gedo Mazou?

So either the Kyuubi's chakra is still in the pot and gourd or it's somehow still in the Mazou. Now I'm confused.

Either way the pot and gourd will play some roll in the following chapters. We shall see what that roll is.

So what do you guys think the chances are that Sakura is going to have to sacrifice herself for Naruto in the upcoming chapters?

 

Especcially with the "i can only do small things for him"

 

Its not going to happen, I repeat its not going to happen, otherwise the pots wouldnt even have been thrown down. Remember Madara has 8.5 tailed beasts, the stuff he spit out was what obito used as a chakra subsitute for the ten tails, same reason why only the tenticle sasuke cut off from bee long ago was used.

 

 

You guys do realize that Kin/Gin were edo tensei, and that technique was released quite a while ago right? Technically, all that should remain in those ninja tools is the Kyuubi's chakra - AND THAT'S ONLY IF it wasn't used up by juubito/Naruto reabsorbing it when he took them out of Obito.

 

So unless its impossible to release the edo tensei on edo tensei that are sealed in the tools, the possibility that Kin/Gin are still in there are pretty slim. 

 

I'd say we have two major possibilities:

 

1. All that's left in the tools are the kyuubi's chakra (the brothers edo tensei was removed so they're no longer in the gourd) - plus it'd be a bit too much to deal with if they were in there. It'd be two more people to fight along with Madara and BZ, once Kin/Gin were out of the gourd.

 

2. The tools are empty since not only was the edo tensei released, but the little 9 tails chakra in the gourd was either used up, or just reabsorbed by Naruto he took the Bijuu's out of Obito.

 

I'd prefer the first option since that would make it so Naruto would not have to die, but Naruto dieing and being brought back another way is completely possible in the case of option 2. 

 

Its not fully clear but the best answer is what most assume that the gourd and pot containing kinakku and ginkakku were stronger seals than the bindings of edo tensei meaning that even when kabuto was forced to release it, that the containers kept them around. Its not sure but its possible either way that they both may still be active or only the chakra remained behind. Either way we need to see but this is the stuff that will revive naruto. Its really a case of we will know if the brothers are still around or not when those seals are opened. The pots were dropped in right as kabuto released the technique so this is giving credibility that the pots seals overode the edo tensei bindings. If the ten tails insides destoryed the brothers or not remains to be seen, but one this is assured, kuramas power is in those containers.

 

 

I don't think the foot belongs to Kabuto. If it is he must have found his place in this world, I always imagined that would be a good thing. Or maybe he found out that his true purpose was to be the great evil.. Karin's comment just really threw me off, it confused me and I'm sure that was intentional. x)

 

Even with no NS this week, we have MK fluff so I won't complain :3

I don't see anything else happening, but I'm not Kishi. He must have something up his sleeve that none of us have thought of. I'm just wondering how long Sakura can keep Naruto alive like this. Hope it won't drag on..

I wouldn't mind if Sakura is his main savior or that she sacrifices something, as long as it's not her life. I don't think she'll die.

 

MK moment is nice and sweet, like the stuff they said about naruto not understanding a girls feelings, takes me back to the start of shippuden. Sakura is still life support, she will pull through and again, yes the pot and gourd containing kinkakku and ginkakku or at least or chakra will be the answer to narutos trouble. Either way naruto will recover from gaining one of these things, or both (unlikely as it is)

As said before Obito used the pots AFTER Kabuto released the edo tensei, if they were gone for good then the power would have as well, its dependent only on if the power remained trapped in the gourd and pot or if it kinkakku and ginkakku are really still in there.

 

No matter how you look at it these will happen:

 

-Naruto revives by the power in the pot and gourd, yin kurama (if he is retrieved somehow), or even both. The yin kurama one would be feasible if obito somehow manages to control dark kurama inside black zetsu since they are fused right now. But its most likely Guy, Lee, and Tenten making the dilivery or Gaara/minato moves fast enough with Sakura helping Naruto to the locaiton of the pots. Really gaara can make the return trip with Naruto and sakura if needed back here, they are seen by team guy and get to the location in the same chapter, its like a half mile at best, not much to travel.

 

-If Kinakku and Ginkakku are still in there, they have a minor appearence at best, something quick happens to extract and transfer the power to naruto and heal him

 

-Sakura is fine, she will be, maybe she gets injured as the only harm to her, but she won't die, again I cannot state this enough look at the buildup, then ask yourself if this is all just leading up to a moment of sacrifice? will all this buildup and growth be used for some farewell on a jutsu sakura doesnt even know? No it won't. Seriously, the whole sakura dying thing has bothered me, it suprises me that some people even in the NS fandom think this, I mean thinking sakura is some one up? Thats just, wrong sounding, if anything the pot and gourd should have been labeled with one ups and instant hero healing kit, granted to rejuvinate and restore them to world saving condition!

People people people, clam youselves, its like thinking sakura goes down is worse then what we thought 615 was at one point, its fine, she is fine, as I said before she is keeping him alive and the only thing keeping him alive aside from his steadly depleting energy, as it seems like a long time remember, in the universe its only been like 10 or so minutes, naruto is unconicous at best, just slowly declining. Its not like serious to the point narutos been under for hours, its only been a couple minutes, gaara is fast, so is madara, remember the difference between real time and plot time, plot time makes time space seem displaced because they focus on a situaiton for X amount of minutes, seriously if animes and mangas just cut to the point like many american comics, then every DBZ episode should have been like only 4 to 7 minutes, each fight would be only like a half hour in real time. People wouldn't be standing around for 5 minutes on one subject, seriously its a common trait in anime, focus and stand still making reactions and reciting the same stuff a few times before moving on, its a cliche we all came to enjoy and shouldn't be suprised at.

So the pot protected what was in there when Itachi forced Kabuto to release the edo tensei.

It make some sense I think... the pot and gourd are supposed to be powerful tools...

Sooo... that means they will have Kin/Gin brothers to deal with ?! My god it's getting worse and worse...

 

Or..... maybe when the edo tensei was released the Kin/Gin brothers disappeared, letting only Kyuubi's chakra behind in the pot/gourd (I don't remember but one brother is in the pot, and the other brother is in the gourd right ?)

 

At least it reminded the chakra because it worked with Gedo Mazo...

 

But still, IMO the chakra must be gone now, because it has been sucked up by gedo mazo...

Kin and Gin are being brought up again. Its the sage's weapons. Who is a sage right now? Just because Gin and Kin used em doesnt mean they stupid and not valuable weapons. 

 

Just look at bleach, there is no way they could kill Aizen do they lock him up forever. Most likely what will happen to Madara.

Nobody recognized Obito when Zetsu took over his body, maybe the same has happened to the foot-person, possibly Kabuto?

The figure looks a bit like a Zetsu, the hairstyle and height and everything. Eh, don't ask me how it happened. But maybe Karin can't sense this person's chakra because of Zetsu.

I've never liked the thing with Ginkaku and Kinkaku either, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Kyuubi chakra is still there in the pot, for plot convenience. That is, if Kishi does intend for Naruto to get the Kyuubi back, which I'm not feeling so sure of anymore.

If Karin doesn't recognize the chakra of Sasuke's mysterious healer, then that could mean one of two options:

 

 

A.) Sage Mode must've physically changed Kabuto's chakra.

 

or

 

B.) It's somebody else. Hmmm..... Shisui perhaps?

You're not alone on that thought man. It would be a smart thing to do considering the dire straights of the situation. But would Minato need those two treasured tools in order for him and Sakura to save Naruto should Obito fail to regain his consciousness in time to stop Black Zetsu from giving Yin Kurama to Madara?
