Since we 70 guests at the moment, I want any SS fans to answer me question about your statement; why do they believe SS will happen? This comment perfectly demonstrates why I find it hard to believe that SS has any chance in happening, because in the end we all know that Sakura will always be on Naruto's side. There will be no reason for her cross over to Sasuke's side again, if it conflicts with Naruto's dream. It wouldn't make sense.

 

I'm not an ss shipper but you have to remember that most people ship what they like because they like the character(s), not because they think they'll be canon.

 

I personally believe SS doesn't have much of a chance of happening, not because of Naruto, but because of Sasuke himself. Sakura said it herself, he never talks to her.

OH MY GOD MY SHIPING HEARTH    CAN'T TAKE THIS  . I only wished for Sakura to showed more emotions about Kurama being extracted from Naruto with a flashback to the Chio scene when she tells her about the fate of the Jinchuriki but i'm also glad that she keep her coolness for Naruto's sake , also a very symbolic scene with Sakura holding Naruto's hearth and at the same time breathing life into him with their lips gently interlocking with eachother (CPR) , and remembering his dream and her will to save him and to preserve that dream , I DON'T CARE what anybody says but that's LOVE kittenes ,there is no greater way of showing it than this NS FTW . 

 

Also about the Minato killed Kushina , hold your horses on that one Kishi never forgets so wait for the explanation their's twist maybe after all Kushina's and Naruto's condition are not exactly the same so be patient on this one before you call it bulls**t .

Trying to call a doctor-patient interaction romantic is just plain creepy. Sakura performing CPR is purely in the interest of saving his life and her mind hasn't shifted from that.

 

Like I said, it may not be a scene with romantic sense to it, but I believe that Kishi put it the way he did not without a reason, and I strongly believe it is an implication of what Kishi has in his mind regarding NaruSaku.

 

But we'll see, I guess.

Mouth to mouth is not romantic.  But what people forget is that she was giving him mouth to mouth while holding his heart in her hands, while reaching for his heart.  There’s symbolism in that people.  With Sakura, the person who was in love with another character reaching for the heart of the man who loves her, it illustrates her changing feelings.  That’s why super duper Naruto-verse CPR is different from the chakra transfer hand-hold (this matches Sakura's story arc over the manga, the hand-hold spoke of comfort and did not call to Naruto's manga-long character arc).

 

Now, excuse me while I continue to rage about the indication that Minato killed Kushina (out of ignorance or not, it pisses me off).

I understand people ship couples even if they don't believe they will become canon, but my question was meant to go out to the SS fans that do believe it will happen. If this whole shipping stuff was just solely on liking certain pairings just for the fun of it, then there wouldn't be any debates between fans to see which one will become canon. There wouldn't be a pairing wars, yet there is because there are many fans who disagree with where the romantic subplot is going.

Oh my god Sakura and Karin were so badass in this chapter...I'm like...speechless, especially for Karin. I didn't expect the CPR procedure at all and I'm glad Sakura is refusing to let Naruto die...holy kitten you Go Sakura.

cpr is so generic, it is used for mangakas how do not want draw a kiss between cannon couple.

 

narusaku is already cannon.

but i worry maybe not a romantic kiss after all, because somebody remember a cpr + kiss in a shonnen? idk xD

Well... A lot of the pairing fans I've seen (mainly cross-taggers) who honestly believe their pairing will become canon are people who are mainly motivated by emotion rather than rationality.

 

Ofcourse, everybody wants their otp to become canon, so then comes the whole downplay-other-pairings and reading with shipper goggles. This appears in every ship, by the way,

 

Shipping isn't solely about "shipping for the fun of it" because people feel the need to legitimize their feelings (or their interpretation of the story). They want the big canon trophy because they know while they cannot change other shipper's opinions, at least they have the "confirmed" or "true" pairing. It's not just for bragging rights, it's for comfort of mind, really.

The chapter that Anti-NS still find more romantic than 663. 

Neither of them was romantic in my opinion. But if I have to choose, I would definitely pick this chapter up. Not because I'm a NS fan but because, that was only between Naruto and Sakura, while with Naruto and Hinata, it was all about Neji and nindô. ANd here, the "romantic" vibes came from Sakura (I'm not talking about mouth to mouth, I'm talking about her thoughts), the one who's supposed to change felings, while in 615, the "romantic" vibes came from Hinata.

The chains which Kushina brandished are apparently a trait heritable within the Uzumaki clan. It could turn out to be an unverified bloodline limit but then Tobi was shown to be capable of materialising the chains as well when he was controlling Kokuo and the other bijuu. Perhaps it was by-product of the Rinnegan? They obviously have a connection to the Sage.

The popular theory is that it's a reformed Kabuto but that quote could be one of Kishi's devices for heightening the already intense atmosphere.

That is the reason why I found this site. I like Narusaku, but there was a moments where I didn't believe it will happen, I started panicking. I then found this site, and over the two years there has been a lot to calm my mind (I primarily thank the Road of Ninja movie for helping me with that). I don't care as much as did two years ago, so it wouldn't effect me much if it doesn't happen anymore. I guess I sympathize with other shippers because they would feel uncomfortable if the pairing that they not only like, but thought was going to happen doesn't become canon. I just wish to understand their logic sometimes. I understand NH logic and reasoning, just not SS.

I don't think he was literally asking what it was. He has over 9000 posts on this forum, the man practically breathes Naruto.

there is similarties to what sakura is doing for naruto and how naruto fought to save her in the gaara fight shes becoming very strong

Good chapter overall with plenty of drama and suspense. I dare someone to say that Sakura's useless now considering she's basically a human pacemaker. Though concerning the CPR, I don't feel that it is really a significant pairing moment with the main reason being that there was not a lot of passion to it. I mean, it's great that Naruto and Sakura met lips, but I didn't really see any passion in it between them or even from Sakura's standpoint.

 

Of course this sets up a lot of potential pairing moments like Naruto waking up with Sakura's mouth touching his, Sakura crying over a dead Naruto, Sakura crying over a revived Naruto, etc. I just think that the moment while on the precipice, lacked the extra oomph to call it a pairing moment.
