Read my above post. I do agree with you though at least Sakura is still about time, rather than "Wait, I can get that if I just takes his eyes???"
Yeah. I'm sorry I hate any chapter that gives Sasuke a free power-up. What's even weirder still is how this power never really came up til now. Did Itachi's eyes really give him that much of a boost? I mean, at least Sakura was explained with the whole "This whole time she has been focusing it." Sure, to some it seems kind of lame, but really this is worse. Guess what? Sasuke power-up out of nowhere.
Really it seems like just being exposed to the effects of another jutsu gives him the powers of it.

Well, this power up only exists as long as Juugo is near him. If Obito focuses on taking Juugo out (or most likely send him away with Kamui), Sasuke has lost his advantage. This power-up has just as many risks as it does benefits.

Isn't Sasuke powered up by Kyuubi's chakra ? If you look closely you will see that Sasuke still has the cloak and the cloak makes your jutsu 3 times stronger I guess that's why Susanoo is suddenly so big. This is kind of bothering me too. How did Sasuke's Susanoo get to be the same size as Naruto's kyuubi mode? I mean I must have missed something.
Anyway, all indicates that Naruto will receive Kurama's other half, therefore restoring it's original size when it attacked Konoha, and Sasuke to counterbalance will be handed the final Susanoo in some miraculous way.

I did, but I just re-edited it in back into the post. So check that out won't you.

HAH. Never that simple. Chances are he will probably keep the power and absorb it or something and now Juugo is free of his curse seal or something. For Sasuke, his jutsu have no risks save for maybe the blindness things before, but that is no longer an issue and we know Sasuke can't die at this battle so the sad part is he has no risks and he has no reasons to fear.

Funny though, despite Orochimaru saying it wasnt perfect or even at it's maximum it was enough to keep up with Naruto's sage mode, LOL'ed.
Totally agreed with you, the senjutsu just got ridiculous by now, i knew i was afraid it could happen, because i felt that Naruto should be the only one who fully mastered the senjutsu power, but what i see by now is the same thing Kishi did with the other powers.
I could not care less if Sakura gets the sage mode, or whatever, due to the rule break, even Akamaru can get sage mode.
Sasuke doesnt have the body to handle this, but still come with "experiments" or whatever bs kishi said because Sasuke doesnt have a large chakra reserve.

Okay. Again, why is it for Sasuke justifiable, but people bash Sakura for it? Sasuke is a "because the plot demands it" character.
Why is he evil? Because the plot demands it
Why did he turn "good" again? Because the plot demands it
Why is he so hesitant in his so called "convictions?" Because the plot demands it.
Why is as powerful as Naruto without real training? Because the plot demands it.
Why was he so conveniently in the right place at the right time? Because the plot demands it.
As for the "heads-up," yeah we got the heads up ever since they said "He is an Uchiha." I hate Sasuke's character because of this reason and it goes far beyond than just "off-screen" development.
To be honest, that's where I don't understand as well. Look, in her defense, it actually make sense for that power-up because of couple of things. One is that the seal was never explained until the moment is needed, so it's not like "How is that possible? It's said here..." moment. Sure, that would mean I can create a rule to it when the time is right, but at least I didn't change or destroy the rule if it was made beforehand. So long it ties up well, and it did. Going back to Sasori's fight, Sakura was weaken and then she got stabbed, yet she suddenly got more chakra to heal. How is that possible? Because she was holding back for the seal to activate. See, that works.
The main problem for many with Sasuke is the reason of power-up is because of the eye, that's it. It's like Aizen, how can he be immortal, how can he transforms, how can he do many things? The reason is one word and that's the definition of asspull. So yeah, I don't blame anyone with Sasuke, but knowing he's a villain in the next arc, it's no wonder he gets shortcut because that's what they do. Heck, Vegeta did that with Super Saiyan and Majin version. The point is the rival always get shortcut or no explanation. Do I like it? No, but I have to go along with it since we're in a roll with it anyway. That's why I like Obito more than anyone in there as far as Uchiha goes, though I do like Itachi, because when you recap, he was all about hard work and not giving up. He does struggle whereas other villains, take Madara for instance, goes like "Nooooooooooooo......just kidding!" Obito actually got a motivation and won't stop until he gets it. That's why I gave him more credit than people thinks. So yeah, I'm not saying to accept Sasuke, I'm only explaining. Like Tobi once said, "Where he did learn that?" The answer is simple: asspull.

I wish there was at least some kind of explanation about it, whether it be by Kurama's cloak or Juugo aid. But instead all we get is an asspull no jutsu.
Nah, I don't even know why I care anymore.

Oh hey look. Sasuke gets another power-up for free.
Bleh.
BLEH.
Look on the bright side he can only use it with Jugo there.

True. I wonder if Obito takes out Juugo, then Sasuke will be useless, right?. It's like "He's the kitten" but after taking one source out, "He's kitten".

Going by the last events I wouldn't bet on that if I were you. He could just absorb the senjustu into him again or whatever other last second move he might come up with.

Well I am asking, rather than telling. But I wouldn't be surprised to be honest. I was just thinking the story situation because we now know Naruto is pretty much at his last stand since he took all from Minato. That's troubling.

That would be kind of hard to do, since Jugo is inside Susanoo with Sasuke, and remember how hard Madara's Susanoo was now just add Senjutsu chakra to that and...

Yeah it's kind hard to get surprised at this moment. You brought up a nice point, Naruto and Sasuke are on a very similar situations having to rely on external sources of chakra (Yin Kurama and Juugo). I wonder if they will last much longer fighting in this situation.

Yeah, but Naruto is more in trouble because once he's out, he can't fight anymore or rather can't do anything. It's why there's emphasis on Naruto, including from Minato because this is it for him. If lose all chakra, it's almost saying game over. Sasuke could lose Juugo, but at least he can still fight, just not with Obito. I noticed Sasuke hardly got harmed or do so much while Naruto keeps draining everything. Let's not forget his chakra got drained and Sasuke didn't. Why? Anyway, I'm more worried about Naruto because if he loses the chakra, then it's all over. Plus even if Sasuke do beat Obito (Yeah right), he will kill bijuus inside. So Naruto must win.

Sasuke is such a frustrating character, everything he is and does is just because, and completely plot driven, as you said. I kind of consider him another 'could have been' character, he could have been a good, complex villain, or an interesting morally gray anti-hero, but he is neither, he's bland and inconsistent, and his 'conflicts' are not well defined enough to draw me in as a reader.

Also I think sasuke will gain CS with the same level as juugo CS with orochimaru help. If so then sasuke can compete with sm naruto with his 3tomoe sharingan and CS.

Did minato already give naruto kurama yin chakra in this chapter? Because it doesn't as spectacular as I though.

I don't believe he's actually given Naruto the chakra yet, I think it's just the Yin and Yang Kuramas sharing chakra. I could be wrong though.

No, he only borrow it. If Naruto wants the other half permanently, then it will take a while to do so. So why not, he's only borrowing them. It's like the difference between borrowing and keeping it and this one is the first.
Sounds plausible. I will be damn surprised if he wants the snake sage, but I do feel like he will get curse seal because of its shortcut and the other powerup will be the final step.
