Well I recently finished Death Parade, and that's where they shocked me, in what... 5th or 7th time? They did amazing work, hope that budget is enough for 13 good quality episodes. I wonder, will they do straight story episodes of will they get a gintama style and animate even those extra chapters of murata like in 20 minutes of series half is one story, and second half is other. Because, to tell the truth, Murata did marvelous job as he created more than 10 additional stories I think (on other hand, without those we could be ahead on 12 or 15 chapters of ONE's work, but that's another story, lol). So what I'm talking about, MadHouse has all the needed tools for this only unknown is budget, so we can only hope.

Death Parade! Glad you've watched it. One of the best animes of the winter season. The animation budget for this anime just blew my mind. It was absolutely gorgeous. I head the animation for HunterxHunter was also always very nice. Right now they seem to be saving money up with Ore Monogatari!! b/c I can tell that the animation quality has been just ok with the last few episodes.

Hmm... Those extra stories add more depth to some of the characters. Maybe they could shorten those extra chapters.

I couldn't agree more. I really like this series tons a lot. That said is it going to be 13 episodes? I would love it to be 26 to cover many materials and just wait until manga version catches up. I do agree that they should animate the specials because they're really good. So here's hoping MadHouse pull it off.

I read somewhere that it's confirmed to be 24 episodes. Maybe a season 2 in the future.

Lucky for them, I don't think that series need that much of a budget. This one however do. This series is going to be the greatest challenge yet. They managed to make HxH incredible like how IG did for AoT. Not saying they both suck without them, but the anime did so well it often debate to say which is better, which is a sign of job well done.

I can't wait to see the first animated fight, especially the ones that's technically animated in the manga.

Oh, HxH was just... I can't describe it! It was just pure gold! All those Nardos episodes sucked in compare, Bleach could pull this kind of quality only in last animated arc of it, One Piece... meh, it's quality went bad long time ago. I'm comparing HxH to those, because there was FREAKING 148 episodes of it! They caugh up till the very last fully ended arc, and it all was good!

Well, beggars can't be choosers, 13 is minimum so I said that. But in 24 episodes they can cover all the chapters till the very recent one I think.

Btw, did any of you saw difference betwen Web-Comics of Murata and Volume chapters?
