Oh well  I guess Kishi spent too much time making the rest of this chapter look awesome. I can't be the only one who thought the art in this chapter looked amazing right?

I believe we may be overestimating Sakura's enhancements a bit too much. Yes, she has become incredibly more powerful, but how exactly are people discerning that her mobility received benefits as well? She leapt up into air and proceeded to follow the miniature Jubi clone she struck before finally coming within range of the others and unleashing a final attack against the group. She was able to temporarily rush past her teammates but a large part of the reasoning for this may be related to their shock at Sakura's technique and her sudden forwardness.

 

I just think that we should wait for the following chapter to reveal to us more of what she is capable of before declaring that she now can keep up with the likes of Raikage.

Let me elaborate.

I'm assuming Naruto was running. Not full out Minato/Raikage speed but fast enough to at least push ahead of Sasuke since they will always compete.

She was able to dash ahead of both of them.

If you put Naruto, Raikage and Sakura on a line and have them race then yeah she would lose. But from what I saw I think it's acceptable to discern she got a mobility increase as well as power.

Long overdue, but a fantastic chapter for our heroine. She finally put her teammates on notice that she is going fight alongside them and they are not just going to shield her. I hope they continue to display her power in the coming chapters right there with Naruto and Sasuke, they can share the panels.

 

 

The other thing about this chapter was about, was team 7 nostalgia, Ino even mentioned it. And the chapter ends with their old, typical dynamic, Sakura enjoying acknowledgement from Sasuke, Naruto requesting her attention, and Sakura's teasing of Naruto. 

 

It's meant to remind of us Team 7, before Sasuke left. You can see them all enjoying this, no matter how temporary it may be.

 

 

 

And I think it is definitely temporary. Kiba, Sakura and the rest of the rookie 9 don't really want to be Hokage, I think they just mean that they all want to stand and fight rather then just hide behind Naruto. However from Sasuke's comments last chapter, and Jugo;'s remarks in this one, I do believe Sasuke means it, and he has his plans to follow. After all, Naruto and he have to fight eventually.

You said that Sakura's mobility increased with her power, but also other's had enhancement on that but doesnt take advantage of it, we saw Sakura but she's really going to move like that always?

Unfortunately i cant see much resources for her hope next chapter shows her using jutsus and sealing or whatever unless if Kishi really makes her like an axe, just brute strenght and nothing else.

As for the Sakura haters, Naruto himself just admitted that Sakura could completely crush him. So we shouldn't be hearing complaints about Sakura being weak ever again.

If the momentum from her strength increase can be channeled into her legs then that may help in explaining as to how she could have overtaken both of them. The momentum from when she was propelled upwards may have been a product of that. Naruto and Sasuke were still battling against the Jubi replicas when she leapt upward. That may have been a factor as well. If the only increased attribute is the momentum behind her jumps then can we really argue that Sakura received a mobility increase?

That only Kishi could tell you at this point. Also, considering what Tsunade revealed in her battle with Madara I think it's acceptable to assume this is only the first stage of Sakura's seal. It's a diamond at the moment. It's not an open seal nor does she have the markings on her body. That coupled with all the slug foreshadowing makes me feel like she still has a LOT of room to grow in power.

Hyakugou almost seems like the offensive version of Creation Rebirth/Byakugou.

In all three techniques you store chakra over a long period of time in a certain point, then release it, but instead of healing the user's injuries, like Creation Rebirth/Byakugou, the stored chakra greatly enhances the user's capabilities with Hyakugou.

This kinda seems like the medic nin's version of Sage Mode, in a way. As far as we know, Sakura doesn't have vast amounts of chakra, which is required to gather natural energy for sage mode. So instead she just releases a helluva lot of chakra to get a similar effect as SM. I still would like to see her one day get SSM, though.

I wonder if Tsunade can use Hyakugou. Since she's already incredibly strong to begin with, she probably figured she doesn't need something like that, whereas Sakura does, at least currently. And I also wonder if Sakura has the ability to use Creation Rebirth/Byakugou if she wanted to. I wouldn't want that, though, cause it would shorten her lifespan. Tsunade probably realised this too and forbade her to use it. It's not much of a problem for Tsunade since she's got Uzumaki AND Senju blood, so she has a long lifespan, but still... She looks really old. I wonder how many times Tsunade has used the technique.

Looking forward to seeing more of what Hyakugou-enhanced Sakura can do. Hopefully we'll see her using a combo attack (preferably with Naruto ).

...Ugh, I'm already anticipating 633. Dammit.

@Tauriel I really hope Sakura is on the cover of the volume! It's about time she gets that.

When I read the chapter it looked like she zipped ahead of them Especially since she wanted them to see her back.

We'd have to wait for the anime to discern if that really happened.
