I still haven't play Xillia 2, I will buy it for Christmas. Anyway any news on the upcoming Tales of Zesteria?

we got both the bad ending and the true ending last night still need to go back for the normal ending, post game content seems to be challenging so far which is good.

 

as far as I know Tales of Zestria is to be released early next year  in Japan don't know when it will come to North America or Europe

Was quite bothered by Xillia's ending. So much buildup for Jude x Milla only for it to go nowhere in the end. Almost as bad as Naruto's ending.

I usually go here  for my tales news. Zesteria is due out in Japan on 22nd January, and even though the date for the rest of the world has not been announced, it's likely to be around the second or third week of August, that's been the release date for nearly all Tales games (except for Symphonia HD) in Europe.

 

I'm just hoping that the Tales team do not look at the sales of Zesteria and not continue this trend of cutting down the time between the Japanese and Western release. While I do think it will sell, two years after the Ps4 launch will also mean a good percentage will have moved to the new console. Tales is the only reason why my PS3 is still connected to my TV and not packed away .

 

Unlike Japan we in the west are allot faster moving from one platform to the next, We've started seeing it already, developers are concentrating on the new gen consoles, with the old gen either scrapped, getting a inferior version being made by a small team have it made by some third party.

 

I was so relieved to here Persona 5 was coming to the PS4 as well as PS3, but considering how close to the Japanese release Zesteria is, a PS4 announcement is highly unlikely.

Finally got Hearts, and liking it so far. Disappointed that ***SPOILERS*** Kohaku lost her personality at the start of the game. Was looking forward to her interactions but now she is just an empty shell.

any attachment between Milla and Jude is whatever you want it to be after all it is completely open.

Not yet If you've been keeping up with it. AND ALL HAIL LUDGER!!!!!!! ALL HAIL LUDGER!!!!!!!! (In other words, get it for Christmas my friend. You won't be disappointed)

I'm talking about Xillia 1, not Xillia 2. And there is plenty of evidence in Xillia 1. Milla getting jealous and freaking out at the thought of Jude being with another woman. Jude flat out saying he loves Milla. Jude and Milla admitting that they are mutually the most important people to one another. Jude and Milla holding hands in the end of the game (before Milla ascends to godhood), with Milla crying. The romance is there and certainly romantic. So much teasing that ultimately goes nowhere due to a needles plot contrivance.

Finally bought Xillia 2 and I'm hooked just like the first one. Though the bosses are tougher I'm already having trouble beating Rideaux (god he's so annoying more annoying than Nova).

I see Namco's facebook page is finally uploading Zesteria streenshots, I guess now that Hearts is out they can start promoting Zesteria, lets hope we get Japanese voiceovers this time, though hopefully not with the bad subtitles I've heard so much about in Hearts and Sword Art Online.

Persona 5 is due out next year, I'm looking forward to it, finally thanks to Sega's acquiring Atlus, it means we Europeons don't have to wait upto a year for the game to come to our shores.

Agreed, I didn't struggle nearly as bad the other times, but the first time I had drop the difficulty and still almost lost.

F-you Tetra Spell. That cause be so much grief the first time I fought him. Even if I dodged it, the AI frequently didn't it and that spell punished you for linking.

For  Mystic Artes you have to have the skill for it and have it turned on. For Linked Artes, same thing. The Linked Artes skills are received when your character affinity reaches Level 9 for that character. Jude and Millia also have a linked Arte but i forget how you obtain it.

When I fought him on hard he spammed that spell mercilessly. Usually killed the target, and if it didn't the status effects finished you off.

Thanks Nate I think Milla is the only one with the highest friendship level for Ludger she has the" special artes" skill. So I only need to perform a lknk arte during over limit and hold R2? Or do I need to use an arcane arte?

Just check the skill needed to activate it. It will give instructions in the description of the skill at the bottom of the screen. If it doesn't let me know, I'll have to pop in my game and check otherwise. I just don't recall offhand.

When you get to Level 10 for affinity you either get a new suit for Ludger (and a new song for battle) or get to change the name of the linked art.

Hearing Ludger yell Blessed Arte the Pink still amuses me. Heh.
