"Not a problem. Glad to see that the both of you are alright."

She came upon some steps leading down to a set of tall, copper-colored double doors. She placed one hand against it, pushing it open and poking her head inside.
"Well, this is surprising."
The room before her was massive, cogs and gear and pipes all around, still working. There was steam flowing out of some of the broken pipes and the room seemed... Almost untouched.
Pillars with white-blue orbs of light floating in them lined the room, and she could barely see the ceiling.
"Uh, Guys? If you're done with the reunion thing you might want to have a look at this!" With that, she wandered into the room. In her pocket, the blue, oddly shaped crystal she found earlier glows.

"Holy kitten what do we got here?" He asked curiosity getting the best of him as he entered the room he looked at the machines and other gizmos.
Grabbing a locked box he found on a table he began unlocking it, as he opened it he found a few pieces of gold and some jewels.
As he grabbed the rest of the items he found he remembered back when Twill and him were talking, "We'll split what we get." It echoed through his head.
As he waited for the other's he dug through his pocket for his golden watch that was his sister's before she gave it to him, opening it there was a small picture inside of her and him playing, as he stood there a single tear excaped from his eye without him noticing.

Julien held the map out while walking, reading as he went along.
"According to this map, all these pipes feed steam into a central chamber where the magic crystals are held."
He walked further in passed Skadi to inspect a large pipe running into the ceiling. "Hmm."
The inquisitor tapped on the pipe with the back of his hand. "Ooh. Hot."
Looking at the map, then looking at the pipe, "There is a gauge around here some place...."
Julien became lost in his curiosities once again and walked off seemingly following the pipe wherever it lead him.

"Why dont we find out?" Zerva said looking through the small pack he had pulling out a rope.
He looked at the pillar and wrapped the rope around it.
Steadying himself he put one foot on the pillar and began his ascend to the top of it.

Steadying himself he put one foot on the pillar and began his ascend to the top of it.
"Eh?" Twill looked over to find Zerva scaling one of the pillars. "Are you sure you should be doing that?!" she called, her hands cupping over her mouth.
"Noctua," she whispered, looking at the owl perched on her shoulder. "If he fell, could you catch him?"
Noctua, who had been pretending to sleep, cracked one large orange eye at her. "Perhaps," he offered, shaking his feathers out before looking up at the pillar. "I think it would be best, however, if he simply did not attempt to fall."
Twill sighed and looked back up at her friend.
"Be careful, Zerva!"

"I'll be fine, don't worry about me." He said with a smile.
Loosing his footing a little he started to slide down, "Oops spoke to soon." He said with a chuckle.
Letting go he quickly took his scythe and jabbed it into the pillar as a form of support, pulling himself up he stood on top of his scythe with a smirk.

"Come on, I'm just trying to figure out what that thing is." Zerva said pointing up to the crystal.
Zerva looked down at Twill, "Give me a little bit more time and I'll get a good look at those crystals for you." He said throwing the rope around the pillar one more time.
He started his ascend once more.

"Hey, Mr. Inquisitor, where's that pipe lead to?" He said as he walked alongside their leader.

As he reached the top he was greeted with a sparkle in his eye, blinding him a little he looked away, "Damn these things are bright." He said allowed.
Putting his hand on the crystal he wiggled it a little as he did this he found the crystal started sparking, pulling harder on the crystal it popped out causing a beam of light to blind him again.
Looking for his scythe he jumped down to it, landing on it perfectly he tossed the crystal to Twill, "Told you I'd get it for yah." He said with an accomplished look on his face.

“I don’t really know what to do with this,” she mumbled faintly, turning it over and admiring the white-blue light emitting from it.
“I have not been in this room,” Noctua admitted, also looking at the glowing crystal. “At least, not in its current state. But I may be able to learn more.”
Hopping off her shoulder, the owl fluttered in front of her and landed on the long crystal. His red eyes swirled into light blue.
“I see. These pillars each represent a docking bay for a ship. The crystal provides the power for each bay and each pillar has pipes that run to their specific bay,” he explained, and she looked up at the pillars.
“There are this many bays?” she asked in awe, counting the pillars.
The owl blinked its eyes, as if considering something. “Perhaps more, if there is a hidden ship.”
Confusion spread across her face a moment as she took in his words. “So…you’re saying if these bays were all the known bays for this dock, then a hidden ship would have to be…”
Noctua hooted softly, as if in confirmation. “In a hidden bay.”

"Hidden bay....Hidden bay..." Zerva said looking around the room for some sort of clue to where it could be.
Looking back at Twill he yelled down to her, "I'm gunna go and look for it, yell if you need anything. Zerva said ripping the scythe from the pillar and jumping to the ground walking in a different direction than the rest of the group.

"Hey, Mr. Inquisitor, where's that pipe lead to?" He said as he walked alongside their leader.
Julien stood there for a moment examining the pipe.
"I believe this will lead us to the crystal storage facility. No doubt the crystal on board the Barracuda will need to be replaced."
He continued forward following the pipe as it curved around corners and through a set of heavy brass doors.
Beyond the doors was a large circular chamber, within were many pipes of all shapes and sizes that covered the walls like an overgrown vine.
In the center of the room the pipes converged on a large and very powerful crystal. The crystal itself was bright blue and shown a light that pulsated slowly, it was quite beautiful.
"Eureka."
He turned to the barman while pointing at the crystal. "You see this?."
"These pipes are pumping the steam, which is more like a miasma into the crystal. It absorbs this magic, and below forms smaller crystals that can be chipped away."
Julien opened the book and showed it to him. "You see?" He then flipped several pages and pointed to the machinery depicted in the text.
The Inquisitor didn't bother to let the barman answer and approached the crystal as if he were drawn to it..under it's spell.

"HOLY ALDUIN!" He turned around, close to backhanding the mysteriously teleporting moogle, back of his hand inches from Ragnarok's face.
"Where the hell you come from?!" He had a hand to his chest, trying to calm down his furiously beating heart.
"I almost hit you, can you teleport or something? Jeez..."

"Not too shabby but I've seen better grow houses." he joked and walked towards the glowing crystals. He broke on off and examined it carefully before putting it in the small bag on his back.
"And I didn't even have to climb anything"
