Ah found something: The tradition of planting wheat on Saint Lucy's Day (December 13) comes from Hungary, Croatia, and other European nations. Plant wheat grains in a round dish or plate of soil, then water the seeds. Place the container in a warm spot. If the planting medium is kept moist (not sopping wet), the seeds will germinate and the shoots will be several inches high by Christmas. Then the new green shoots, reminding us of the new life born in Bethlehem, may be tied with a ribbon, if desired, and a candle may be placed near them as a symbol of the Light of Christ.
And when it grows it looks like this:
Happy celebrations anyway!

@Toasty well I do have a short break now, Christmas holidays and all that so I'll take it easy but I still have to study every day. Thanks for worrying you guys! Hugs for both.

But this year that friend is in Poland and none of the rest seem to have a wish to organize a party. Seems like everybody is celebrating somewhere else. A few of my other friends asked me if I wanted to go to a club with them, but I'm not sure. I like to go to clubs sometimes, but spending the entire night doing nothing but listening to loud music and drinking is not my idea of fun for New Year's. I told them I'd think about it but I would almost rather stay home with my parents and their friends. At least I won't be hungry.
So, do you have any plans already?

I can't believe it actually snowed today! For the first time this year and I didn't get to see it because I was sleeping. All I saw was a little snow on the ground when I woke up but it melted soon enough. Oh well, it looks like it won't snow next week.

But on the bright side I went shopping today again. I think I bought something for all my friends now. We spent most of out time in a toy store, haha. Damn, I can't remember toys being that cool when I was little. I would so play with them even now.

How it feels to be a kid once again, I actually wouldn't mind doing that myself sometime.
