You watch him kick ass and take names. I'm seeing it this Sunday, I have big expectations.
Edit: Transformers 3 better wash out the bad taste from the second one. Michael Bay better make this one a damn good conclusion.

I agree. I liked Transformers 2 and never understood the hate and angst directed towards it.

Whoo! My movie is taking names and kickin' ass in the box office!

Bringing the Rock and everyone else in was just the perfect plan.

Final? My friend, they are milking this franchise 'till the cow shrivels up and dies XD
There are at least 2 more films currently planned to be released over the next few years:

God, where do I begin?
The main thing that bothered me was just how saturated the movie was with frat-boy humor. The fart jokes, sexual indeuendo, and whole slew of other things seemed really out of place. A robot with testicles, WTF!? Yeah, it's a movie about a bunch of robots that turn into cars, but I don't see what they would have to do with bodily humor. They weren't funny, there was too much of it, and it took away from the plot. Plus, they had Megan Fox in the movie, and the one person we see in thong underwear is John Turreto?

Speaking of which, the plot of the film revolved around a villain who could only be killed by Optimus Prime. Why? Dunno, they never say. Some may insist that Optimus Prime was the only one strong enough to defeat him, but if that was the case, how could Megatron have killed him? Did it occur to Megatron to kill The Fallen himself and take over the Decepticon army? They just never explain what makes The Fallen so special that only one specific character can beat him.
I'll keep it simple when it comes to Mudflap and Skids: Some people were offended by how they portrayed stereotypes. Some weren't. But whether they were politically offensive or not, they were above all else ANNOYING. They contributed nothing to the story, they were the worst designs I've ever seen even with their intention to be (bad) comic relief, and they took up so much screentime when it could have been focused on either sideswipe or the motorcycle girl autobots, who IMO could have been a lot more fun to watch had they been given an opportunity to shine, not to mention Ratchet and IronHide who could have had more to do in the movie. I mean, what the hell, is affirmative action taken to the extreme on Cybertron? If I were Sam Whitwhicky, and if I was stuck in Egypt with John Turreto, those 2 autobots I could not stand, and that hispanic conspiracy theorist nerd, I would've pointed a gun to my head and ended the movie right there.
As a friend of mine summed it up, it was the movie Friday with Robots.
Spill.com does a pretty good job of summarizing it:
That being said, I'm willing to give Dark of the Moon a chance. The fact S&M aren't in the movie is certainly a step in the right direction, but if Bay doesn't cool it with the humor, I'll probably just wait till it comes out on DVD and fast-forward to the good scenes.

"In a radio interview on 26 April, 2011 for RPR.1 (Rhineland-Pfalz Radio One), Vin Diesel mentioned that scenes from the sixth movie will take place on the German Autobahn and seventh and final film takes place somewhere else."
I thought the Sixth one was going to finish the series??? Oh well, 7 films, and it better end on a good note.

But yeah, if they end the series on a good note, I'll be happy. I'm enjoying the route Justin Lin is taking the series, less racing, more heist action.
I hope they bring back Han... he's my favourite character @_@

Ah, Han.... Always eating something. To be honest, it's Han who actually makes this whole series have a stable chronology when my brother and I were making sense of it.
The Fast and the Furious, 2 Fast, Fast and Furious, The Fast Five, and finally Tokyo Drift. Of course, it's somewhat iffy since the beginning flashback of Fast and Furious has Han leaving Vin Diesel, so he had to have come back for at least one more job for The Fast Five to happen.
