I read one just awhile ago that Kishi may ripped of Freezing's protagonist Kazuyu had to be transfered from the womb of his mother to his aunt's womb when he was just still a fetus. Theory has it that Karin gave an abortion because she never want the baby for unknown reason  and Sasuke never wanted the baby to die, so Sakura volunteer to become an incubater and took the fetus in her womb. And Sasuke erased part of her memory and replaced it with new ones to cover everything. That's why Sarada has a meshed in Karin/Sakura look.Crazy kitten theory

Well, when I first saw Sarada, I had the theory that Sakura was injured during the war (perhaps when Sasuke stabbed her) rendering her unable to conceive, and that she ended up being pretty much a baby oven for Karin and Sasuke. Or it also could have been that Sasuke actually already had Karin's DNA/chakra in him (do to her healing him so many times) and that Uzumaki DNA overpowered Sakura's own DNA, causing Sarada to look more like Karin than Sakura. 

I doubt we will ever get a true answer (or maybe just a satisfactory answer)

Here are the reasons:

1. Money; we can pitch in, but how much? That's a lot of money, but the JP SNS is wildly popular; BL is wildly popular, SNS isn't the only shippers that manage to get a BLCD. Look at PruAus and UsUk in Hetalia, they also got CD's, but they weren't in AU.

2. The fandom; it's small and had only gotten smaller after the ending; we need to make up the cost of creating an NS AU. SNS had only gotten even more popular after Boruto. Look at the pixiv statistics for proof.

3. Copyright. SasuNaru's VA's were very open to the BLCD, but they still need approval from SP; they are still bind by contract until the anime/ franchise is over or contract expires.

Higher ups at SP okayed them to be involved with the BLCD, what makes you think they'll okay NS? They are completely NH/SNS wankers if you haven't watch the anime. You have NS supporters in SP, but they don't make the final decision. Example, The Last.


This isn't about having the loudest voice, or showing off how that ship is better...the artist isn't even Japanese but Chinese, but she is very well known in the JP SNS group.

What it winds down to; popularity. SNS is top dog in JP in Naruto, from anime to games. NH is popular in the west, enough to give us the ending we have now.

Even SS, in JF 2016, SasuSaku's acted the final scene of 699 as well as the final chapter in Gaiden.

They have a large, loyal fanbase that brings in profit. Our fandom has gotten smaller and switch sides/ lost interest/ are not dedicated enough. Especially the JP NS fandom. JP SNS shippers help bring this alive, not the west.

It's not as easy as one thinks it is. SNS got lucky because everyone admires the ship in Japan, including SP/SJ/ and even Kishi. This was already bound to happen at some point, I assumed it would have been sooner. NS on the other hand is extremely small and has an extremely dedicated and large hate base. We are also at the mercy of SP. The VA' s didn't just say yes and bam, created the CD, they needed approval.

We can try though, but the most difficult would be money and SP. I'm on a loan, I can't contribute because college is more important.

Anyway, what I am saying is that NS had not given up, but voices aren't as important enough. I seen NS shippers write assertive (but polite) letters about the ending and other stuff. I also seen NS being spread around enough to make it notices, look at Shinachiku. But we do not gather money or attention like SNS/IS/SS/NH/ST. Because of that is why NS "gave up". Some people prefer to move on rather than let it get to them to an unhealthy point.

Anyway, I don't like it. The minute we bother to do a NS AU, very soon there would be an SS and NH AU; the shipper are already talking about contacting there Japanese SS/NH shippers about this. A SNS/NS AU is one thing but then add NH and SS and the whole AU would be meaningless altogether. NS needs to have something special just for us. But other rival shippers turn that something special into another competition, which makes it less special. We can ignore it, but look how it turned out. SNS is happy now, but wait until a SS CD comes out...

I keep seeing that Junko loves NS/ SNS, but honestly I really don't think she cares at all. During NYCC, and NH shipper and Junko rehashed scenes from The Last, and called there NH t-shirt adorable. And Sakura's VA is a SS shipper. The VAs really just don't care as much as we expect them to, we need to stop looking at them for what they ship because it means kitten unless you're SP or Kishi.

We are trapped in a never ending battle with shippers, even though we want nothing to do with them. As long as we are here, they are here. They already took a lot from NS (NH especially), you expect that to change? SNS are already calling themselves special because of the news. Expect competition than very soon either a NH/SS CD.

Sorry for ranting, but the "giving up" has to a lot with people just not wanting to be at "war" any longer. You saw how the NS fandom tried to distance themselves from the fandom; it didn't work for crap. Even worse is that at times we are at a civil war with each other (same with other shippers). People are tired and found new things to like that isn't NS. No matter what we do, no matter how much we try to create a wall and distance ourselves, we still wind up in a never-ending circle bashing and depression. It has gotten to the point where shipping NS, even in fanon, is no longer fun anymore, no longer brings happiness. Because we will still have bashers, we will still have shippers who "battle" against us, we still have shippers who crosstag and post copy paste art of Boruto or lazily sourced art, and NS shippers STILL going to read Bolt for the purpose of genjutsu.

I think an NS AU perhaps might finalize people from officially moving on...but the point is that the rest of the fandom is just tired and NS has reached a point to where it's no longer cheering them up, so they give up and moved on to better things.

It's definitely right, but the problem is that for others it isn't. They are mainly self-inserts.

Even more sad is that they represent the majority. We ended up being the logical minority in a fandom where majority, logic means kitten.

Money doesn't seem to be enough of an issue seeing how people keep buying the kitten Naruto games and they keep making more Naruto crap (despite how "unpopular" many claim it is now), the kitten volumes, and buying the cheap crap....hell, a guy made how much from a stupid potato salad recipe? What the hell? So obviously people have money to spare and they justt don't want to support it.

2. That is why I ask why do we give up so easily?

3. Again, these breaks so many copyrights and doesn't attempt to even hide that fact and yet it is STILL being made. So I am sure that we can come up with something to "bypass" this issue.

As for the rest of the rant....well, all I keep thinking is why the hell are apparently gay couples and abuse couples getting so damn popular? I just don't kittening get it.

Apparently, rape, abuse, and murder is considered sexy meanwhile being nice, sweet, and a gentleman is considered sexism

I CAN'T WIN.

The only couple that I liked and it became canon was Squall and Rinoa, but it doesn't even count since it was basically a pre-planned pairing. I sort of count the same with Katara and Aang since while fans like Zutara, even the authors said it was never planned nor was it their intentions...so that one was kind of made up with the fanbase to which they sort of made fun of.

I guess also technically Superman and Wonder Women too, but then people are screaming for them to break up forever and have Clark with Lois....and they are probably going to get their way

Copyright will always be an issue for us, compared to NH/SNS:

1. It involves people who hate Sakura.
2. It involves people who hate NS.
3. Rabid NH shippers who can declare copyright just to ruin our happiness.

When has Sakura ever been respected enough as a heroine under SP/SJ compared to Hinata? Have you seen how she's been treated this past year, and even before. The last great Sakura/ NS fanservice was RtN, and even so Sakura's character had to regress because plot. There was a reason why Sakura remained such a hated character, and SP could have made tons of plot stories so Sakura would still be liked. But as of current filler, maybe they aren't as creative as one thinks.

Anyway, throughout the anime, Sakura has always been treated as a joke (a overly agressive and rude heroine who is bitter that other females like Hinata and filler females in Naruto movies take her role as heroine) compared to Hinata (according to SP: ((okatu voice)) the female, who also like Naruto, never gave up her dream of being with Naruto...she has a tragic past, but she still holds on to the boy she loves...she also had soft, huge breast and a curvy body underneath those heavy clothing that need to be let out, extremely submissive and willing to bow down hand and foot, never talk back, yet can kick some decent butt...yada,yada). Now who do you think people would prefer? Of course Sakura for us, but we aren't the majority are we?

Hinata has filler anime dedicated to her and her love for Naruto, in games she had her own filler moveset that changes when the moveset involves Naruto; hell, even in storm two, when you involve Naruto/Hinata, they are called "secret lovers". Now you have the lastest game in which Hinata actually takes a part of the opening as a main character, which never happened before. She also has a special moveset with the Hyuuga family and Naruto. And a special moment from extras that include NH.

When has Sakura received treatment like that? I recall a Naruto/Sakura, Chiyo/Sakura moveset long ago, but the was also Naruto/ others including Hinata which made it meaningless...also the combo was comedic. When was there any dedicatation towards Sakura now? She has the same moveset since last game, she only partakes in a T7 combo, and she is still acting as cupid for NH in extra scenes.

Gaiden shat on Sakura, the novels shat on Sakura, and she's even been regressed as a secondary character, which is a feat for what once was a main heroine.

LadyGT's After the War has been removed on pixiv due to copyright, yet a obvious SNS CD manages to bypass all. Because it's SNS. We have to get the permission from the Studio, and let's be honest here they don't like Sakura/NS/SS. They do not like Sakura to the point where they refuse SS fanservice, which is another feat considering that SS is also a popular ship in JP/ West. So convincing SP that they would get money is pointless...

Which is why the fandom "gave up". Why try when the Studio/ Hinata wankers are only going to deny, make sure we get nothing out of it. We can attempt an AU, but you will very soon have NH on your backs calling copyright, and we would have to stop production. Or we can succeed but very soon have a NH AU, just for the sake of spite and harassment, and the NS AU loses purpose and became another weapon of "battle". Some people rather move on.

Losing people means losing money. Having the AU costs a lot of money...we have to pay for the VAs time, advertisements, and to companies/ markets that will sell it. BL is popular as is in JP, let alone SNS, so of course this is an extreme money maker and people are willing to contributions because they'll get back there due's. We are making a hetero CD, for a pairing that is only losing in popularity. People won't be as dedicated to help out or contribute because of risks and spite shippers. If we had thought of this right after the ending we would have more of a chance of getting an AU. But too many had left, both in the West and JP. SNS has just came of high from the Boruto movie abd had only increased in popularity.

Sorry for the extensive rant again!

For this to work we need the approval of SP, we need NH/ anti-Sakura/NS to actually lose popularity, and we need more NS supporters. Finding NS supporters isn't an issue, but NH and SP are main problems. SNS had no trouble because they don't have haters; everyone acknowledges that SNS is pretty much the main ship of the series. NS has haters from all sides, most specifically NH/SS and some SNS, anyone who is anti-NS and that sadly includes SP.
We will have a harder time getting an AU.

Final Fantasy is the reason why open-endings suck just as much. There was also and ongoing war between Cloti and Clerith, it decreased over time but had started growing after the announcement for the remake. I just scrolled past an NS post where that shipper was pissed of that people would compare Cloti to NS and that NS is more like Clerith. James is mainly trying to address that no matter the paring, people seem to choose the problematic trope over "nice".

If you heard of Life is Strange (spoilers warning), Nathan Prescott is one of the characters people adore the most, despite being mental and abusive, even destined to kill Chloe in the end if you choose to let her die in the end. You sadly sadly see a dedicated fanbase that calls him pure and people shipping him with max.

Then you have Reylo in star wars which us just another SS but even more toxic, and sadly that became a most popular ship.

I have no issues with the problematic trope, but really, is the "nice" trope that bad?

And Sadly the West even fetishes this, with the amount of SaiGenos doujinshis from not only JP, but West I've seen lately.

I don't want another series I love be ruined because a bunch of spoiled brats had to have it their way.

In Japan they are promoting a lot of SaiGenos, but I'm still somewhat confident that it won't succumb to fans.

Another reason why I question how SaiGenos became so popular, same with SasuNaru. Naruto specifically said he's not gay in the manga despite being Sasuke obsessed. Saitama said the same thing despite the close friendships. Yet for some reason, people believe there is hidden sexual tension. I can excuse SNS, but SaiGenos?...


This trope needs to die, I'm shocked that is still popular. This trope is pretty much everywhere, so you expect people to grow up and get over it.

It's disappointing how fans can destroy any story for selfish need like fetishes.

Cloud and Tifa are my choice for FF VII since Aerith belongs with Zack cause the majority of Crisis Core was about Zack and Aerith. Narusaku all the way, Superman and Lois all the way, the only I go for Superman and Wonderwoman is when Lois is already dead or died like in Kingdom Come, Injustice Gods Among Us, Wonderwoman and Batman I just go off the Justice League cartoon form the early 2000's, Sora and Kairi form Kingdom Hearts, Cecil and Rosa from FFIV other couple that became canon and did the problems Naruto tried to a failed at better especially the love triangle between Cecil, Rosa and Kain, which is funny cause Cecil is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal who also voices Sasuke. Hell Kain was Sasuke done right and he actually redeemed himself in the end and I think Kain did the rivalry training the heroes son better than did cause I think in FFIV after years Cecil's son goes to train with Kain at the end. Locke and Celes form FFVI, Zidane and Garent form FFIX, and a big stretch Tidus and Yuna from FFX and for how bad FFXII and FFXIII are Balthier and Ashe were good together and Balthier and Fran as well as Snow and Serah all of them better couples in their own series.
