Twins? Lol. How desperate can you get? And why it have to be brother-sister by blood trick? It only worked for Gundam Seed, it's not going to work anywhere else. The only time I accepted was Star Wars. Still would have been ok without that awkward kiss scene with siblings (yes, I know, that was before they know but still). Sadly, that was actually an idea for Naruto as well. While it didn't happen, it might as well after that horrendous movie.

Btw trang, I was in tumblr just now and someone posted "this all looks like a sad attempt to force an old cliche to work with two characters that just dont fit together," in regards to Souma and Erina, so naturally I was like "lol what?" Turns out they blocked me and started bashing me after going through my blog and seeing I was a NS fan. The hate is real XD

I know how you feel. This ship is right there with LuNa, TouKen, and Eragon/Arya for me. I can't see any instance in which it doesn't become canon.

Apparently, inside and outside of the anime community: NaruSaku shippers = BAD shippers.

 

I've been reading like a ton of fanfics of this ship though I disliked the majority of them (excluding the lemon ones, lol). I'm assuming that that has to do with the fact that many misrepresent Erina's character in my eyes. They make her out to be a more awful kitten than she really is. If you're interested, I recommend the following, completed fanfics if you haven't read them already:

- I thought the author would never update the story. I was jumping up and down when I saw him uploading the last two chapters XD

He in too deep. He can't escape. The whole "parallel" was icing it. Although not needed but hey, whatever makes Soma and Erina to be foodgasm moment for fans.

It's because we're sensible people that actually give a rats ass about the characters we ship.

I've only read a few (one of which is actually Year Three, which I loved) so I haven't noticed any misrepresentation. I'll have to give the other one you suggested a look, and try to read more while I'm at it. pervy trang

No need to. "Boku no" is literally My. It is the pronoun and possessive both at the same time cause Japanese doesn't have a possessive pronoun on it's own.

 

But yes If Sorina doesn't happen then the story is ruined for me just like Naruto cause you see there are so many hints here and the fact that so many links go back to Jouichiro in the Nakiri family blows up the foundation of the story if they don't happen. Well Naruto it wasn't the pairings that ruined the story for me. At least not completely but the fact that the story was absolute trash for the longest while NS not happening was just the las straw for me to give up on it completely. i already gave up on most of it , as in my expectations and the quality of the story telling
