Well if you ask me, lot of them are new to the world of Shounen, let alone manga. Some people don't appreciate Sakura's tsunadere characteristic, which is been there since forever. It doesn't help that Sakura is different than usual heroine in Shounen. Well, they will learn soon. The payoff will be great IF Kishi knows what's he doing.

I think people just hate Sakura because of how useless she was in part 1. Even I was quite dissapointed. Every fight I was just sitting there screaming at the page "YOUR A NINJA! JUST THROW A KNIFE OR SOMETHING!!!! PLEASE!!!" but it never happened....

He then said "so she became such a girl", as if lamenting that he failed to properly show her character. If the Road to Sakura episode were to address her confession maybe Sakura's thoughts will be shown to the audience in the way Kishi wanted it to be originally.
Let's all hope this is true... If we think about it, we've gotten all of Team Seven's POV's on the overall plots in the manga, except her. I really hope this is indeed true.
You have a point.
Seeing more of her training with Tsunade over the time skip could be interesting, or her figuring out that Naruto has the Kyuubi sealed in him too.
That's actually not true. Exactly what filler scenes or fan service has SasuSaku gotten from the filler team? I can recall one scene in the very first Naruto movie (Sasuke lying with his head in Sakura's lap), one OP (where they're in the same shot and Sakura is crying), one ED (one shot with Sakura looking sad, while the next shot has Sasuke fighting), and two filler scenes in the anime (where the dogs made some comments about her and Sasuke; and the episode where Sakura thought back on her feelings for Sasuke - and honestly, all it did was highlight how shallow her romantic feelings for Sasuke were - "his handsome profile was enough for me").
It may seem like the animation studio pushes NH a lot, but in actuality, it is Hinata that they are pushing, and her character just happens to be 95% about her feelings for Naruto. Notice again that aside from one (maybe two if you stretch it) filler scene (where Naruto wasn't even aware that it was Hinata he was seeing) before part two, they've likewise never shown Naruto -> Hinata.
This. Just this. It annoys me that some members insist that Pierrot are heavily biased towards NH when in fact, they're not. I used to think this way too but now that I've had several moments where I look back on the anime, I realize that belief is completely wrong. That omake where they outright say they're fans of Hinata, should tell you that for all their love of Hinata, they're willing to be professional and push for mutual NS fanservice moments out of respect for Kishi.
And yes, I really do hope Road to Sakura will do her character justice. I especially hope Kishi is indeed involved in that episode.

The family that couldn't be.

What of the boys who like SasuSaku? Is it just because Sasuke is cool, regardless of with evil status, and so he's justified to have Sakura for that? Again, I'm not saying that's how it is but how I conclude it.
Maybe they like it because SasuSaku represents passion. I'm gonna guess that the majority of the SasuSaku fans are young teens who rather focus on the passionate side of their own relationships, which represents only the physical attraction, instead of the compassionate side, which is the emotional attraction.
The attraction Sakura shows for Sasuke reminds me of how some girls get frustrated when they can't get the guy they like to notice them, but when I say like I say it in a physical sense. It's not a guy that they have some great relationship with, just some random good looking guy they met one day. It could be they like SasuSaku because they make it relate to their own experiences (even if that's not the case) and so they personally want Sakura to succeed because they couldn't.
In the end there's gonna be people who ship fictional characters together just for personal reason instead of basing it on how the story is told.

wow for some reason reading that made me sort of hate you....
it's obvious why. Sakura loves Sasuke. Sasusaku clears the way for Naruhina.
That's why Sasusaku fans exists right now.

Could you explain why you hate me now? What exactly of what I said made you hate me? I'm not accusing people of liking SasuSaku because of the reasons I put above, I'm just saying I can't think of any other reason as to why people like it. That's why I want someone to explain to me what is the appeal of SasuSaku, for the sake of giving me another perspective. Am I really asking for too much?
Are you saying that every SasuSaku fan only likes it because it makes NaruHina come true? So every SasuSaku fans only likes that pairing as secondary and their main preference is NaruHina? Isn't that too close minded? I'm pretty sure that there are SasuSaku fans who don't really care about NaruHina.

You resorted to stereotypes to solve a problem rather then just flat out admitting to complete ignorance of the topic.
I said Sakura loves Sasuke, and Naruhina. Naruhina fans will like it for obvious reasons. Sasusaku fans will like it because they care about Sakura's feelings and want her to be happy.

Look, if you want to tell me one hundred reasons as to why my perspective on SasuSaku fans is wrong then I would gladly hear them. But now you're making accusations toward me and also calling me an ignorant.
You're out of line. I wasn't looking for a provocation, just for a simple explanation.

Let's not lose ourselves. Come on. Let bygone be bygone. We have to learn to agree to disagree, and respect other people's opinion. I have this situation in NF, yet I did not argue or bash or anything. Just say you disagree in a respectful manner. So, truce?

Dude, an ignorant is a person who possesses ignorance. If you say someone has ignorance in a topic you're saying he's ignorant to the topic.
I'd rather stop this strange back an forth.

Agreed. We're not gonna gain anything keeping it up.
EDIT:
I wasn't trying to make my assumptions about SasuSaku fans as fact. That's why I kept saying I was just my perspective. I made that post regrading SasuSaku fans as a simple invitation to hear people's counter-arguments. I was curious to have a different perspective that could potentially change my mind on the subject. That's the only thing I wanted.
I'll make this clear, I don't like the perspective I have but it's the one that pops in my mind. But if anyone has better ideas than mine then I'll happily embrace them.

Some might ship SS just for the sake of NH, but as I said before I think there's a good bunch that take SS as a priority and don't even care about NH.
Branden explained those SS fans want Sakura to be happy, I can agree with that. But I want to know why they consider that Sakura will be at her happiest with Sasuke. I want something beyond the fact that she loves him since that's about the only answer I hear. We have see time and time again Sakura's feelings for Sasuke cause her a good deal of angst, so I don't get what's the appeal the SS fans see in that situation.

Really? That is one of my favorite mangas ever. I am happy of meeting another fan.
Meh. I have seen NS haters shipping Luffy/Nami and Ichigo/Rukia. Right like I have met NS fans hate Ranma/Akane or Shinji/Asuka.
So... Either they would hate Kaori on the grounds of all Tsunderes being awful, or they would find some convenient excuse to liking her. Fanboys/girls are a notoriously inconsistent bunch, specially if we are talking about shippers and bashers.
I have seen Sakura fans or neutral people trying to explain haters what the Tsundere trope is. And haters claiming Sakura is exceptionally abusive even for a Tsundere and she hits Naruto more than other Tsunderes hit the main character. Whenvered I read that nosense I use to think of Kaori, Akane or Lina Inverse. Either of them to hit Ryo, Ranma or Gourry more times in one single chapter than Sakura has hit Naruto throughout the whole series.
The funny part is that mahher is TINY, compared with others she handles.
Right. The manga clearly shows Sakura starts warming up to Naruto right away. And she has already tried to have him to forget about Sasuke and she told him she wanted being with him.
And Kishimoto told she was being honest about it. Some fans can tell me he did not convey it succesfully for them, and that is an understandable complain, but ultimately it is irrelevant. The creator's word is final in these matters. What we think matters not.

Do you want to take over the world, huh? Well, you'll have to go through us first!
