Ah I got it. They're good but only one arc for one. Again, it's like One Piece though to give credit to OP, they do have lasting developments at times, so it's not just one arc for this person and such.

Yeah, the problem is the friendship talk never go any further and usually the same message over and over again. That's why I was once worried that will of fire talk would be something that will get hammered in heavily, but surprisingly, no, it hasn't. Heck, I often think they will be the most ego in the war, like "We Konoha are the best because of will of fire!" I don't know, I always feel like FT are egotistical, like other guilds have to be cruel or corrupted until they step in.

I like how in One Piece its not all about friendship. There's a lot more depth to OP.

I also thought the will of fire was gonna be forced on us, thankfully it hasn't. The thing that's been forced the most and is really kind of annoying is the bond between Naruto and Sasuke...

I do feel like some members of ft force themselves on other people outside their guild. Erza, again, is most guilty of this.

Honestly, she would have been really good if the developments kept going, but it hasn't moved at all. Just crushing people's hype as many would put it now. In fact, I was there when she did the unthinkable and people turned against her faster than you can say SS turning against Sasuke in 678. You see, she had her arc with her old love interest being bad and her suffering from the past and such. After that arc, well now she makes amend with her love interest who btw killed her friend but I am shocked no one talk about this, but maybe Naruto is more seen to be a serious situation but whatever. Anyway, yeah, fight wise, it gotten stale really badly.

You know how people often joke that if Naruto fights this person, that person will get TnJ? Well that could be true (lol), but in this case, step foot against her, you are doomed, no matter what. She is like a brick wall, your hype ends horribly. It's like if Madara just got back from Kamui, full power, he will still lose. I'm dead serious. Clean. They called her John Cena of FT. If you know him, it's a total nutshell.

Oddly enough, I like her in slice of life moments. In battles, I can't stand it.

Yeah, I have to credit OP for that one. The only downside now is to change up the formula and do risking moves like have people dying, pull a new twist within the battle (hoping for this since this arc villain is one of the big one), and so on. Other than that, I don't have that much of a problem.

As for Naruto, yes, I wished it wasn't hammered about Naruto and Sasuke too much, though we do have others to cover, so it's not so bad. It's not the only focus, just one of the main. Otherwise, Naruto would be standing stiff and let Konoha die unless Sasuke is brought up. I don't mind too much of bromance, but should take it easy. But I guess if Japanese fans love it, then I can't argue the result. Maybe if he was given one more arc or time skip before Sasuke's departure, it would be less hammered and probably tell us "look at the past and you'll know why." But oh well.

Onepiece creat standard that follow by other manga, just like dragonball did 20 years ago.
Naruto doesn't use boss, mini boss, henchmen system.
That's why many character doesn't get action time.

This arc is the perfect example of that, Dressrosa has been absolutely fantastic. I've been on the edge of my seat (so to speak) the whole time.

Well, this arc has been the most canon feel like thus far, so this I am interested. First arc of part 2 was good but that's because of the flashback. Other than that, it was ok, nothing too great and a bit too easy. It didn't feel that grand, but the ending buildup is interesting for the future. Last arc was fun, though didn't like no kills policy played here and ruined the idea of sacrifice for the bosses as well as saving others. They need to stop that. This arc started slow but picked up when the whole old best friend returns as well as a failed plan from Law. Now I am interested to see how it all goes down. I am only hoping for new twist that is not yet done before.

I would admit, as much as they keep doing the old trick, the series doesn't get me dull, so that's a plus. I can only hope for something "different." It doesn't have to be too different, just make us say, "Oh snap, I didn't see that coming." I think what's good is how canon this arc feels. I don't know if you know what I mean.

I don't read FT, but from what I've heard and the little snippets I've gathered, the women in that show get a ton of spotlight compared to Naruto.

Unlike Kishimoto, the author of Fairy Tail lets the female characters get some development. Even though Erza can be a little...out of the blue, and Lucy is not all that strong as far as a large number of characters go... Still love 'er, though!

Kishi drags on through another ark, I'm done. He's dragging the story on long enough as it is right now. Another ark with another top villain? Kishi, just let it freaking end! Give us the Naruto V.S Sasuke fight and have Sakura make up her mind.

IMO she's already made up her mind it just has yet to be revealed to the audience.

And yeah I can totally see Kishi dragging NvS for another arc and parallel it with what happened between Hashirama and Madara somehow fit some Hagoromo/Hamura parallels and Ofcourse Indra and Ashura

We do know that after Kaguya's defeated Naruto and Sasuke will get one more power up but that's about it, we might as well have the confrontation now since we have the entire shinobi system as an audience and Sasuke will likely be confronted about his actions again the stage is set the real question is if Kishi decides to troll and postpone some more.

 

 

Okay..sorry for my 'venting out' post yesterday which I did not mean one bit and I hope you guys know it. So today, a new chapter comes and instead of keeping the environment heated, let us try to chill the kitten out. I came across a post in the previous pages and it was written by NarutoFireFoxUzumaki and I must say I have to agree with him on every bit of that post. Our main enemy is not the NH/SS fandom but our comrades themselves. Anyways, can we just let go off the whole 540, interview and all those stuff and focus on the manga itself? I think that will help decrease the negativity around here. This site is supposed to be a safe place for fellow NS and Sakura fans and not a boxing ring where there are two people fighting each other or four people taking one character. Where will the fellow NS and Sakura supporters go if not for this site? I surely think we can cut some slack around here, atleast for the new members. If not, then this place will be no less than NF and we all know that this forum is a lot lot better than NF and other forums. I think we should drop this 540, the confession, the interview stuff, atleast for now.

 

I figure its worth debating considering its one of the most controversial moments confronting NS. But like I said the "love" that she has for him could just be the platonic love Kakashi was talking about. Though again it depends on if the love word that was used by the fodder nin is one that strictly means romantic or if it is more generalized if he used a word that more closely resembles "like"
