I know right? The Last will never be close to reaching the level of greatness that was RtN. Never. Also, I doubt any future movies will either.

imo, NS isn't a romantic pairing, they're more a realistic and natural one. they don't need sparkles, kisses in the ...space with the moon behind them ! They don't need big romantic moments, or an entire movie about them for them to become canon. 

That's what I'm talking about, it would be much more closer to manga then this whole sailor moon movie. At best there would be some moments as in RtN and at max - one kiss (forehead maybe? with a chapter 3 flashback). And whole movie woudn't be just for them to become "canon", well even RtN wasn't a fanservice only movie for NS, it was about Naruto's family, but try to tell that NH fanboys, and you get another nickname for you.

Beautiful :cry:  Except make Sasuke live in the Sound Village with Taka  its not realistic if he's in Konoha after everything that happened with him the Uchiha's and Konoha and what he did   that would mean he got the easy way out again  that's the only critic I have XD .

If Naruto being able to do shadow clones at a younger age than he learned them in the manga, and team 7 having a bond before they were even together isn't an obvious finger to his fanbase, then I don't know what is. The entire movie was a retcon itself, and basically spat in the face of all fans. This movie is literally the ultimate form of disrespect to fans, his work, and his characters.

And it's all because he apparently felt pity for a stagnant, unchanging character with zero depth, that has only ever thought of herself.

NS didn't need to change anybody. NS didn't need to change the story. NS didn't need a movie to explain things. NS wasn't disrespectful to fans. NS didn't send any bad messages. NS wasn't selfish, or abusive. NS was the most natural.

Yet NS got spit on the most.

But maybe, with these reviews, and Kishi's comment about Naruto and Sakura loving each other romantically post 699, there's still a chance for that alternate real ending. That won't heal everything, nor would it bring back trust in him, but it would be a step in the right direction.
