Awwww...I was really hoping Sakura would have long hair.

Oh well. She looks quite beautiful still!
Although to be honest, if it wasn't for the ninja outfit and the seal on her forehead, she wouldn't look too much like Sakura. At least by the sketches. xD

I can't wait to see what she looks like in the anime form!

 

Although this movie is all too confusing...it's like...part 3...so does that mean NaruSaku, or any pairing, will not happen in the original manga? It'll happen in the movie or anime? I was really hoping to see it in the manga...

 

EDIT: Also, has anyone ever thought that the mystery woman from the preview could be Karin? xD

This is supposed to be next gen-like, right? Maybe Sasuke and Karin get married and Karin gets pregnant. Sasuke then dies and so Karin is holding the last Uchiha?

She does look beautiful. I definitely prefer the short-haired style to what she had in early Part 1. It distinguishes her from her peers who all have long styles while accentuating her face and form.

It's interesting that she's up some of Tsunade's aesthetic preferences. The influence of her sensei is unmistakable.

Despite the quality of the work put into these characters, I still have this lingering apprehension. When you realise that is the canonical finality of her growth (emotionally, physically, technically), you worry if everything will meet up to your expectations. Naruto, Shikamaru, and Sai provide that concern as well (especially Naruto with his choice for clothing and hair). Whether or not it's an alternate universe and non-factual, these sketches are still Kishi's intended representation of them as adults, so forgive me if the shock doesn't wear off immediately.

Ninja outfit- it's like an updated version of her part 2 attire except with no skirt this time....Yay!!! And plus the boots are gone which is actually surprising Kishi took out lol

Casual outfit- I LOVE THIS ONE THE MOST!!!! She's Wearing what looks like a sweater!!! Nice!!!
She's wearing shoes similar to Tsunade's!!! Double nice!!!!
And what I have been waiting for....... SHES FINALLY WEARING PANTS!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YES!!!

Plus the necklace she's wearing is a nice touch and I'm sure it's something she got herself or was one of her parents Definetly so no NS or SS intention to worry there!!! XD

why didn't you like the skirt? she looked great in it! and it's too bad the boots are gone, they looked great on her, and made her stand out.

 

oh, and the symbol on the back of her ninja outfit is the same that is on hashirama's forehead during sage mode, and also that was on that one cover back in part one... hmm...

and im sure we all know what hashi's sage mode looks like. i wonder if the symbol changes as a coming of age thing, even though mebuki doesn't have the dot in the middle... maybe once a Haruno becomes a jounin? lol.

it’s a circle but it appears as a dot in the middle because Kishi first draws the black filled circle so that then he can draw the white empty circle and what’s in the middle of the white circle makes it look like a dot, see what I mean? Look at that cover and you'll understand what I mean - all their symbols are represented by the white parts - the crest on Sasuke's sign will make you understand.

But the more I think about it, the more I wonder. That mysterious lady in the trailer...I seriously wonder if she's Karin.

I hope that, since we got Sakura's, Shikamaru's, and Sai's designs before anyone else (excluding naruto ofc) this means they'll be the main characters of the movie. i would be more than happy with that. 

 

btw guys, here's the translations for the captions on the sketches:

 

The descriptions for Sakura read, "Sakura, who has grown up to have a mature expression! ...Sakura's gently smiling expression makes quite the impression. Her body's form is also somewhat feminine.

 

The notes on Shikamaru's designs read, "Shikamaru with a tranquil face!... Shikamaru does not appear to have much change to him, but the look on his face looks quite manly!?"

 

Sai's designs read, ""Sai has changes to his clothes, too!? ...Sai's bangs have gotten a bit longer, and his face has a cooler expression. The sleeves on his shirt have gotten a bit longer."

 

I hope we get a larger picture soon; Sakura's design has several notes on it, unlike shika and sai's.

hm, i think so. he sort of did something similar in his original sketches for sakura, but he didn't draw the outer ring as thick as he did here. we'll see i guess.

Well I liker her design, but now i'm dissapointed that

 

1. that mystery woman isn't her

 

2. Kishi IS waiting till the very end to make NS canon.......ugh

One would think. But if it was Kushina, her hair would have been shadowed too. Same with Hinata and Tenten. Only other girl I could think of would be Ino, but the small peek we got for the hairstyle doesn't look like Ino's at all.

Ahh, who knows...maybe it's an entirely new character?

 

I dunno. Since Kushina and Karin's hair is red, I wouldn't think he would bother shading it in. Since it's just a sketch.

It's just the part 2 design of the skirt just lost its appeal more quickly then the other clothing when we started getting used to her looking like this. With this new older look of hers and her body proportions changed it'd make sense to get rid of the skirt and leave her with a new simple attire that compliments her style to a great degree!!

Pretty much it's just sakura out growing of that style of attire and make this new one her true ultimate look!!! which I proudly Like !!!
