First Studio Ghibli film I saw? Kiki's Delivery Service, the second dub with Kirsten Dunst as Kiki, Phil Hartman as Jiji, Janeane Garofalo as Ursula, and Matt Lawrence as Tombo. :) And I loved it and fell for Mr. Miyazaki's works as I saw his other films over time. Some I still haven't seen, but...

Never stop watching these movies! It never hurts rewatching them b/c you will always discover and understand more about life and yourself the more often you watch them. I guess on my 2nd spot is Whisper of the Heart and 3rd is Only yesterday. No one knows the last two, but they basically just deal with real life problems. They are wonderful T_T

If The Last ever brings in more money than Spirited Away (the highest grossing movie in Japan), I won't understand the world anymore, I really won't.

What sh*tty ending, lol.

Evangelion is my favorite The only one that looks "normal" is Shinji, tbh. Everyone else has more varied designs.

What I am talking about is that I've heard that in the end the studio ran out of money and literally had to change a lot of the entire plotline. In the end, no one had a kittening clue what was going on. A lot of fans were dissatisfied in the end. And that is true b/c I have researched and seen comments of people who saw the ending. They thought the show was great but the ending... I'm not talking about the overall anime b/c it is quite revolutionary for the nineties. Just the ending is apparently unsatisfying which is basically proven by the director's decision to make two new movies. The End of Evangelion was critically acclaimed, so the director kind of fixed his mistake ;)
